Sometimes people ghost because they have no other option. Maybe they try to communicate, and their partner dismissed their concerns or just ignored them so then they feel they must leave because they’re not making any progress.
Really appreciated the perspective that sometimes ghosting is the best case scenario. Certainly not always, but sometimes its the safest. I've seen this perspective bypassed altogether like we dont live in a complex and very real world so thank you.
If communication has always been a struggle in your relationship where they refuse to listen or take accountability for anything than the only way is to ghost. I just do it slowly gradually... This is towards disfunctional family dynamics

Sometimes, rather than listing all the ways they made you unhappy/uncomfortable/or even downright repulsed, it’s better just to gracefully slip away
When someone can't shut up long enough for you to even finish a sentence, ghosting is the best option.

Trust me, when you tell them they lose their minds. All Drama, and usually zero accountability.
Ghosting is something cowards do.. with the exception of abuse.
