- Hi it's Dawn from Ninja Bunny Crochet. Welcome to my channel. Today I have a crochet hook case for us make. I made this case with worsted weight yarn with a F (3.75 mm) hook. I hope you enjoy making this project.

Your green yarn looks lavender

I was thinking the same thing. Looks very light purplish, lavenderish. Just not green. Reminds me of the dress on the Ellen Degeneress show. 😅😂. It's just the lighting.

Thank you for this pattern. I wasn't sure that I wanted a roll, but now I love It. I just completed my case and I am so happy. I made mine in a medium tyme green and pumpkin orange. I embellished it with a little crochet pumpkin applique. The little fans in the color B were done in the pumpkin color and look like little pumpkins. So perfect for fall. Just what I wanted. I am thinking of making one in Christmas colors for the Holidays. Thanks again. I love my case/roll!

By following this video I crochet a hook case and it's done today. I used red and green yarns. It looks watermelon or strawberry themed 😂 I think it looks great and I loved it. Thank you for this sharing ❤️

I finished this today! It's just what I needed. I made some adjustments (made it taller, and made the pockets wider) and it fits all 13 hooks I needed to organize that wouldn't fit in a standard case! Thank you for this tutorial!

This only has 10 pockets I can see, but I have alot more hooks than that. Can this be increased on number of pockets or two rows?

The shell pattern for the pockets is multiple of 6 plus 1. You will want to keep that in mind when adding additional chains to your project.

I need more pockets...how do I adjust pattern.
My suggestion would be add the number of chains to the starting chain to accommodate the additional number of pockets needed. Don’t forget add the same number of chains to the back panel.

I am just wondering but are you a knitter? I have watched tonnes of crochet videos and I have never seen anyone do YO that way. It is like knitting. My mom is a knitter and is having trouble with crochet. Maybe this would help if she did it like this. Thank you. I will show her your video. :)
No I don’t knit, however my mother was an avid knitter and she was the one who taught me how to crochet when I was a child. 😊

Hi! I just wanna ask about how many grams of yarn did u use to make this project?
I used about 150 to 175 yards of Red Heart Super Saver yarn. From what I can tell that is about 8 grams of that yarn.
anybody know how many grams of yarns I need for this?
I used about 2 oz of Red Heart Super Saver so roughly 175 yards which going by the yarn label that would work out to about 56 grams. You may want to have 58/60 grams of worsted weight yarn to be on the safe side.

As long as you know the basic stitches you should be able to follow the video.
Any worsted weight yarn should work.
How big is the body? 61 st and the height?? thnks
Approximately 14 inches x 7 inches
Gauge: 9 hdc = 2”; 7 hdc rows = 2”

What if I have 12 hooks? Instead of 9?
Ochaco Uraraka You could try moving up a hook size to increase the overall size of the case to accommodate more hooks. Or adjust your starting chains to make the case wider so more pockets can be added.

You keep saying the "A" color is green, but it looks Blue not green
The yarn I used was Red Heart Super Saver in the color Minty. Colors can look different depending on your device settings.
