- I know people are feeling down lately so I got my Dalek to have its 'SLAVE ORCHESRTRA' to play 'DALEK MUSIC.' This suite is how I would envision a Dalek piece to be played at the Proms today, comprising both the themes from Murray Gold and Segun Akinola. Enjoy and stay safe! :)
If you notice, the Dalek to the left, in front of the Tardis... He's not looking at the camera, he's locking on to the camera guy for extermination.

The irony is that daleks have no concept of music yet they have one the best themes.
I remember reading in the comments of one of these Dalek theme videos that what we're hearing whenever the Daleks show up is actually ancient Kaled war chants and whenever the Daleks hover into battle it plays throughout their pathweb.
I honestly think that's a nice headcanon about the music & I hope you like it too. I would actually love it if at some point the Daleks actually sing this in the show. =)
Listening to this while spamming battleships in stelaris under the empire name of "Dalek Empire" then proceeding to declare war on every surrounding empire after claiming every available system is truly the best way to spend a Saturday afternoon

The choir really adds something to Victory of the Daleks.

It really adds to the reveal, like it upgrades it to the final stages of a project.
I like to believe that the choir is actually canon in universe, like these are just ancient Kaled war chants that play across the Pathweb.

That would be a great way to incorporate them into universe, have the doctor hack into the pathweb and hear the kaled war chants as mass numbers of daleks deploy to conquer mundas maybe, it would be a brilliant way to reintroduce mundas
Edit one month after the fact: I just realized that this could lend itself to the cybermen reluctantly allying with the doctor to drive off the dalek threat

I think the earlier episode showing the threat posed by even just a single dalek definitely added to the impact of revealing an entire dalek fleet bearing down on the station
Murray Gold Daleks: The most feared being in the universe with the dramatic choir. The symbol of cosmic horror and hopelessness. Doom.
Segun Akinola Daleks: The most scariest beings in the universe and they mean it, cause now they got drums and trumpets. They won't hesitate to gun you down and they will laugh about it with no mercy. The symbol of absolute authority, world domination and menacing monsters.
Starting from 4:00 gives me some chills. There’s an air of hopelessness around it. Fitting for the scary space trash cans for sure.

Someone should create a real time-strategy game where you can play as either the daleks with their colossal space-craft and sub-variants of each dalek with different ranks, or the resistance seen in the episode "Into The Dalek".
It would expand the lore of doctor who, and have this soundtrack as the background music.

A real time strategy of the Time War would go hard and be mental on every level imaginable
It would be like The battle of Jakku, but it would be endless. The time war lasted for 30,000 years, so there is plenty of underrated lore to put into a game like that. screw it, ill develop it myself sometime in the future.

@Working at McDonalds actually digged the designs, it gave me Movie Dalek Vibes which I've always loved as well! My only critical observation on the Paradigm Daleks is they were too brightly Coloured that was fixed in Asylum with the Darker Chrome Reds and Blues they looked really good I just wish their story continued...
But Doctor Who is a shoe about Time Travel so it is possible for a Future Doctor to encounter them and find out their fate
@@RonanCormack Apparently their story ended in Time Of The Doctor, where (according to a ‘Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe’) after the Daleks lost all records of the Doctor, the Dalek Prime Minister spent centuries trying to solve the problem, eventually going insane, and (after the Daleks had their memories of the Doctor restored after salvaging Tasha Lem’s brain) was declared unfit for purpose by the Supreme Dalek, who proceeded to exterminate the Dalek Prime Minister and take over the Dalek Parliament until the Supreme, alongside the entire Dalek Parliament, including the New Paradigm Daleks, were destroyed on the Nacrana Va Hateen as a result of the Eleventh Doctor regenerating (although there is the possibility that the Eternal survived).

Some of it is a nice ambience. It doesn't have the bombastic, cinematic orchestral aspect Gold had, it doesn't try to.

Seguns feels like it could be villain music for anyone, just swap and change the villain it’s just generic bad guy music. At least when you hear Murray Golds it created a bit of dread
@@obiwankenobi687 I get that he's got to do something different, but nearly all character/villain themes are a massive step down from Gold's work in quality and distinctiveness to the point where they're decent and simply fill the space. The 6 Cybermen notes are genuinely irreplaceable, Doctor, Master, Gallifrey/Timelords, companion themes etc, however the Dalek theme for me has taken the biggest step down. From multiple instruments, guitar riffs and a choir to seemingly two very similar trombone/trumpt notes, it could be any villain's music.
@@ollyreece4208 there’s a certain part he keeps overplaying whenever the Daleks burst onto the screen and the music rises and it just sounds so cheesy and dramatic. It’s like 90’s American action movie music it’s so generic and jarring 😂 I miss Gold so much

The first minute is so brilliant because to this day I always believed that some of the noises from this score were the actually mechanical noises of the Daleks moving rather than actual music
This is why Murray gold will always be so iconic. I can’t stand Seguns theatrical ‘Du-Du-Dummmm’ boss music. It’s always so over the top, like it thinks it’s cleverer and more impactful than it actually is
