Fun fact about Windows 11, they will take a screenshot of everything you do, everywhere you click, etc. and send it right to Microsoft. There's a way to opt out of it, I think, but it's hidden behind some control panel options. And even then, I doubt it's not still sending your information to Microsoft.

Older gen Intel simply gives the best price to performance at that range, newer gen AMD have the best price to performance at their range The problem with Intel chips from 12th gen and up is that, due to the rectangular IHS, and the "totally not designed to hold a cpu like that" brackets, they tend to slowly decay over time, even if a fix for that costs 10$ Now the problem with AMD's 7th gen is with the board manufacturers, especially ASUS and Gigabyte, their voltage regulators were set to the wrong voltage, effectively melting a 7900X3D and the motherboard it was on I kinda like older systems, so I'm staying with Intel for a while, I'll then be moving to AM4 as soon as I upgrade to a DDR4 system

Yeah that's what we did during the athlon 64 era and then intel came with the core 2 line up and we switched back to intel again. Now it's amd again, but intel will probably come back with something good and we will switch again.

Intel for productivity, AMD for gaming. Period. If you're using Intel for gaming, it's strictly cause you're a fan boy. AMD is just the more fiscally responsible choice, while performing better in games, at lower TDP's and that all means you can buy a better GPU or better spec'd components (cause more funds for GPU, more TDP overhead room and AMD runs cooler, just a bonus)

Long time AMD fan here, from K6-2 days up to recent. Got a i9-13900k and its fine. Got a Ryzen 9 7950X3D and its fine too. I want a 16 core for under $150. high end $500 should be 128 core by now.
The last Intel CPU that I purchased was an i7 11700. I’ll be sticking with AMD until Intel gets rid of e-cores on desktops, or at least brings a current generation Xeon socket to iTX, ATX, and mATX.
Why wouldn't you want e cores. It's 70% the efficency of a p core but takes up 1/4th the space on the chip. Meaning instead of 7 p cores you can have 6p cores and 4 e cores giving 10 total. Which is about 280% more efficient than a single extra p core.
With the current problem with 13/14th gen intel im preferably inclined with amd. Imagine buying an expensive part then all of a sudden its slowly deteriorating by itself and the manufacturer says back off we already have the money we wont grant anyone a replacement/fix for our degrading chipsets.
Intel is overall better(besides running a little more hot). The people with high end AMD cpus literally have to knit pick games that they have a higher fps in, which is literally maybe 1 out of 20 games

I was originally planning to buy one pc which is I got the intel i5 (not really planning into gaming since I could just go our nearby internet cafe) but then my godmother from the US saw the price of my pc (11k pesos) and she immediately doubt the performance of my Intel i5 being that cheap for a price so she bought me a Ryzen 5 5600G and now I have 2 computers HAHAHAHA which is great because I can upgrade both in the near future when I can provide income for myself. P.S: Honestly though, it's hard to be a two-timer (In PCs)

Correct me if im wrong but the only good thing I’ve heard about intel nowadays is wifi stability. Wifi on amd took a minute longer to connect and kinda will disconnect occasionally. Besides that I don’t know why else would you pick intel over amd.
Both have insanely powerful x86s, as a SWE it doesn’t matter as long as the price is good for you and the processor doesn’t have faults like the 13,14 gens intels.

I used to like Intel until they screwed me over with their own warranty policy for 7 years of support for their one processor I loved (which they violated), so since this incident I like AMD better. Buying a 5800X 3D on sale at Amazon was the best purchasing decision I've made in a long time for raw performance increase on my AM4 board.
