I hope devs don't fall in the trap of trying to "dethrone" any other game. Doing your own thing and focusing on producing something you're proud of is how one finds success and what players can perceive and appreciate. People tend to focus too much on competition and competing. It's understandable, but trying to see it from the perspective of the players is also a wise thing to practice
as far as what i saw, the game appears to be really unique. I've never saw such a seamless integration of different concepts. It's like Scarlet Nexus, GTA and Spider Man combined into one and i love it

It's wild what a difference good animations can make in a game. I hope the procedural city doesn't get too boring to explore, but otherwise I think the game looks incredible

I don't think it will be JUST procedurally generated city. They can't just procedurally generate everything, otherwise the game will be a buggy mess. So I expect them to procedurally generate the city first and then fix the problems that procedural generation made. That's how it works at least.
i think they used technology to proceedly genereate the city and THEN implement into the game, i think the city will have hard limits, but its just something that helps the designers

They use the procedural generated cities as a base line to create their world instead of manually placing buildings and roads. They can just instead work with the generated cities and polish it, just like sculpting have someone make the ball for you and its your job to create something out of it
Looking at the way the characters move, the large and extremely detailed map on every object, and it's also an anime-themed game, I look forward to experiencing this game as soon as possible!

I hope we get more news on the game since it's been silent for several months with little to no updates. I just hope with the time you've been silent, there have been improvements to make sure this game is a good game and that it doesn't flop when there is a release.

it 100% kills the excitement for the global version that gets released later because other regions have already dissected the game by the time everyone else is able to try it out.
Look at Blue Protocol and Tower of Fantasy. There's no such thing as "new content" in those games because players from other regions have advanced content, and some people even make guides for global players, therefore completely killing the exploration and experimentation charm of a brand new game.

I think you spread misinfomation about Tower of Fantasy. ToF is still doing fine, I don't get it why you just doompost like this, but Blue protocol has been weakened due to G-Fandoms try to self-overestimate so early before and during release that after livesteam many JP players were disappointed and complained a lot and also people already called it as dead game, ya know?

@@NgocNguyen-pv5octhe problem is with a game like ToF's sheer size and quality they should have been earning at near Genshin level, but sadly they aren't heck even Nikke earns way more than ToF on all gaming platforms combined. Earning way less than what they could have been potentially earning counts somewhat as a failure and definitely something Naked Rain should avoid doing at all cost for Project Mugen.

I really hope this game is fine tuned and polished to be the best it can be. It looks unbelievably good and in a world these days with so many disappointing games I really hope this one delivers.
I don't understand why you're expecting a good game from a GACHA game. Say what you will, but I think that the gacha games are the cancer of gaming industry. However, I will still most likely play it, since my 10 years old laptop can't handle other games.

This looks amazing . Dear devs, please take your time on polishing the game and executing your best into this amazing game. Listen to your fan base as it will bring you more success. We hope that it is f2p friendly too, people who likes to invest in some money in the game are always there when they see its worth spending money on. Otherwise if its all just p2w even p2w players will eventually burnout and get tired of it.
I would much rather just pay upfront for the game and not have any P2W features at all. Maybe cosmetics microtransactions but I would much prefer to not have any subscription-based model or p2w model. Now if they offer additional features for paying for a subscription, I'm all for it. That kind of model works well for Mabinogi which is a free-to-play game that offers ridiculous amounts of microtransactions but they feel great to use since none of them are required to play the game they might just make certain things easier.
If they make the game function like how Mabinogi is handled, I could see this as an awesome game that I would sink many many hours into.
The game is looking amazing so, take your time with the development and keep us informed on how it goes! No need to rush it!

im very doubtful the final game will come out like this. If you are a programmer like i am, you would know that this many objects + reflections and other clutter on top of being a always on open world is impossible for mobile. (yes the devs themselves said this is going on android and ios)
What we are seeing right now is trailer magic. Just like when watchdogs and no man’s sky were first announced. It is simply impossible for it to look like this while also saying its coming to android and ios.
so far this looks stunning, im excited to see where this goes. i like the use of procedural generation for the entire metropolis, however i hope it isnt too repetitive and they can actually make it look like it was hand crafted/detailed.
My only wish for this game:
Even though co-op may not be the main focus, please allow us to play together with friends with a decently made co-op function. I'm getting bored of everything being singleplayer and I want to have adventures and fun moments with friends. It brings more reasons to continue playing a game!
I hope this becomes a great and successful game. Please make this a Global Release all together because what makes other open world game succesful is the recommendation of other players and the community that will be build around it and please learn from the mistakes of other games. So excited for this game.

I dont expect a game like this that is marketed as "F2P" to be actually free to play, but what I hope for is affordable subscription offers, first time packages all reasonably priced to support this amazing game. While F2P is important, as long as you can play the game without actually having to spend money then that to me is what F2P means. You can do the game, everything in it, (with an absurd amount of grinding, like most F2P games) for free from start to finish. There will be some content you will need 5 stars (or top tier summons for) however if they do the same as Wuthering waves and give away a ton of great units this makes people want to spend money (at least imo) so hopefully they will do that. I just hope the city is full of interesting things to see and do (like interactables) cant wait for the Europe release. Keep up the great work dev team!

Make character and select job titles and obtain skills in game rather than summoning or pulling for characters and also being able to help other where to find specific skills even such as cooking fishing etc fully realistic (rather than pulling some characters ) daikirai da u can add some specific place to get blue print for weapon or cloth with armor or special abilities each update add events specific locations to find treasure (area unlock ) name it and skills that no one has or some everyone having different skills set level and can combined or sell skills and build clans organization in game with players etc all live in 1 server or may can jump developers u can comtact me i have many idea and solutions makeing a game every one like and something new in it we see pulling characters and all in every game but this game can be unique of it own

The combat looks great, the entire idea looks amazing.
And I like that they went the extra mile to ensure that the objects in the surroundings aren't just fixed pieces but can be used or destroyed (one of the things that spiderman games lack)

Just like the spiderman swinging and parkour are literal copies from spiderman, a game this ambitious made from a company with a not so good reputation are very scary red flags. @@SnowRamz gotta say, the only real similarity between genshin and botw is that they are similarly themed adventure games. In gameplay they are very different. I would say Genshin and BOTW plays nothing alike, climbing mechanics aside. The combat, exploring and story , and most importantly, the vibe, is completely differnet.
@@ThreshtheWeebWarden In general, how China works is by copying something else and then improving on it in their own way. I wouldn't say this is surprising. It's a big part of the culture. As long as it's good, like Genshin was good even though it copied a lot of BOTW, it's fine.

Yeah, this blows Genshin out of the water in so many regards if it actually lives up to this video. Genshin is a fine game, but also starting to feel a bit dated. This could be leagues above and a great game to switch to.

yep, GUI is surprisingly important. i generally liked ToF, but the GUI is very complicated. and navigating it with a controller made me stop playing it.
Really love the graphics and animations in this. Hopefully this will turn out to be a great and fun game.

Game is looking nice. That seamless outdoor to indoor is something games haven't really utilized or made matter. The movement and traversal is a huge point of interest, it's rare to find a game that really delivers on the fantasy of you(your character) being smoothly mobile in whichever way you choose.
Have you never played Yakuza: Like a Dragon? A lot of these gameplay showcases reminds me a lot of Yakuza: Like a Dragon mixed with Spider-Man and or the Persona games.
That being said I'm loving the ideas of this. My only complaint I've had with Yakuza: Like a Dragon is that the combat is turn-based. The combat in this game looks real-time which is AWESOME. Other than that it has a lot of fun mini-games, a great story, and nearly seamless transitions through some areas of the interiors and exteriors with very few loading areas. There are a few here and there but extremely minimal except for much larger buildings and environments and different map locations, once they are loaded all the shops can be entered without a single loading screen.

This game has Driving, Swimming, Wall-Running and Swinging packed into one 😮 looks like Gta+Spider-Man packed into an anime styled game. And those graphics are insane as well~
The open world seems bigger, more diverse with a lot of features. I am not sure if Genshin can still keep me hooked up

Looks interesting as long as
- The city is not just for show as in other games: if you can interact with things and not just break objects, then it make sense to add this level of details
- You can get inside buildings and "do something", and not just look around; otherwise save time and resources to make the game better as it is a waste of time to get inside a building if there is nothing to do or all you do is playing little arcade games.
- missions in the open world are not just based on random encounter spawning like in other procedural map games... That gets old fast, and people get bored of that easily if all you do is roam around waiting for enemies to respawn at certain spots, so make it more like spiderman games where events happen dynamically around you and you decide if you want to take part in it or not.
- Add variety to driving mechanic... If it is just to move around, don't spend too much time on it, but if you want to add missions related to driving (races, delivery missions, transport missions and so on), then it make sense. Again, look at other games and get the best elements of what other games do with driving, instead of just add it to the game to just say you have that feature.
Looking good so far; combat seems pretty average as other similar games but if it is fast and fun it is great. just look at games like Genshin impact in terms of monetization; give players the full game with progression not limited to how much they spend, and put your monetization on extra characters, and you will make a ton of money without alienate F2P players.
