This perfectly captures what is so special about the pumpkins: the heaviness and softness transition seamlessly and often happen at the same time. Guess it came out of fuzz rock. I know a lot of people hate his voice, but it’s a big part of what makes that work.

An era when rock music was awesome and dominating the top charts. Not like today....

The sea of hand clapping is so refreshing to see. No cell phones or anything, they are just living in the moment together

I miss the days without phones.

True. And Chamberlain never gets enough credit for his drumming. And even beyond that, the band (and all of its separate parts) never get credit for their collective greatness. They were one of the best bands ever and each member contributed significantly to that success. I wish people would recognize that.

The 90s was the absolute best in music in my opinion. The grunge era was just so kick ass. It’s all I listen to anymore. The emotion and talent was unparalleled!

    No matter where you are
I can still hear you when you drown
    You've traveled very far
Just to see you I'll come around
    When I'm down
    All of those yesterdays
    Coming around
    No matter where you are
I can still hear you when you dream
    You traveled very far
You traveled far, like a star
    And you are
    All of those yesterdays
    Coming around
    Is it something someone said?
    Was it something someone said?
    Yesterday the sky was you
And I still feel the same
Nothing left for me to do

My bass player was from Chicago, he used to see the Pumpkins at basement shows house parties small clubs, he said even then when they'd play it felt like your feet wasn't on the ground, he knew they'd be huge what a band! That lucky bastard!

I love how they would transition from "Drown" to "Hummer" in a lot of these Siamese Dream era shows. So amazing.
