The real irony is without that Cathy Newman interview, I'd have never heard of Peterson. In their efforts to bury him, they just made it easier for people to listen to him.

That was really just an example of someone that was utterly out of her depth, ill prepared and dropping the ball as an interviewer. Debating in something she obviously had next to no useful knowledge about. I don't know if it was in an effort to bury Peterson, I think it was a display of incompetence. I could be wrong. Back in the day, I was temporarily expelled from my Masters Degree in Education when I stood up a fuss about poor teaching practices within the university.
I had been innocently questioning certain choices of the faculty, and was concerned they weren't taken seriously.
I was so paranoid the entire time that my concerns were unfounded, and that I was legitimately stupid.
That period of time between the expulsion and the appeal was soul-crushing.
During the appeal, the Representative for the Defence said they had a super secret record of my wrong doings. I remember my chest clenching so hard. But then they stated no one could see it because it wouldn't be super secret anymore. And in second, my chest pain disappeared... and we all sat there in befuddlement.
I'd been in the right the entire time.
We very, very easily won the appeal. The Representative went on 'Medical Stress Leave' and stated on record her losing was 'traumatic'.
My family were like, "How was this traumatic? It was just a student appeal. Nobody died. You did the wrong thing. You lied. And possibly more so than we know."
I credit Peterson as a role model for giving me some of the critical thinking skills to navigate the entire process. I didn't go back to education ever again.

Had it not been for his 'gotcha!' moment in an interview, which was later clipped and shared on social media, I likely wouldn't have taken an interest in him. Being a Hindu, I doubt RUclips's algorithms would have directed me to his biblical lectures.
I also discovered his biblical lectures where he interprets the stories and derives philosophical insights. I find parallels in Hindu mythology.
One instance is his interpretation of the Jesus story as the greatest human enduring the harshest trials, akin to the worst happening to the best person. Similarly, in Hinduism, we have the story of Rama, which follows a comparable theme but in a completely different context.

If someone is asking for your opinion that you have zero personal experience in, but you still offer an opinion, where is that opinion coming from? Its not coming from you alone is it (because you have no experience in this question). Would it not be fair to say, in this circumstance, all you are doing is offering a regurgitated opinion from someone else, but passing it off as your own?
What I'm getting at here, is we now live in a world, where instead of simply saying "I'm not sure" or "I dont know" we pretend to be experts in every field and on every subject.

The Light is always more powerful than the dark.
    Why?
Because in the vastness of complete darkness a slight glimmer of Light will catch and focus your attention and you will immediately stop noticing the dark.
While the opposite simultaneously is also true.
If here is so much light that only a fraction of darkness remains you wont even be able to spot the darkness because you are completely blinded by the light.
So, the Light, the positive, will always prevail in the end.
This concept is applicable to anything in existence really.
