Kashtira is one of the defining decks for bad card design. It's what happens when you cut out too many stepping stone cards in order to start making cards do things. Fenrir searches and banishes face down for literally no cost
Kashtira already had a big advantage, but winning the dice roll and resolving at least one shifter sealed it. Infernoble essentially had to hope they went first and avoided Shifter every game.
Random thought but with Savage, Apollousa , Baronne, Halq and Linkross banned, Adamancipator should be allowed Block Dragon back. The deck is nowhere near as busted as some ofvthe more recent decks weve gotten
Full power Kash was definitely the worst format of all time. I could take 3 more years of Snake eyes in a heartbeat to make so that that format never existed
-Oh god that game 3 is such a throw- -Have 2 evenly and not try to evenly first it uhh...?- Forget it someone commented they were all blocked so rip the S/T zone
Ariseheart at 1 would be fine with me. Shifter really is what did it in this series that card is disgusting. There is no real answer besides cbtg and it obliterates most decks outside of stun floo and exosister.
@@wenbjiang9534 its horrible card design its like we hated dark law and they said you know what would be awesome let's design a dark law that everybody can use with no restrictions
People complaining about Maxx c while playing this lmao Everytime you do something there's a hand trap stopping it that's so toxic Yu-Gi-Oh died after mr3 I wished we'd leave decks after 2017 out of the tournament
Maxx C is only considered broken because of how broken the game got. In Hat format and pre hat formats, no one complained about Maxx c. Most decks had a way to play after getting hit with Maxx C, and the game was slow enough that even if you get Maxxed and can't make the most optimal board you could still survive and make a comeback. But when the game became one card combos into full board of omni negates and you lose because you didn't draw 3 hand trap 2 board breakers, and a one card full board combo then you lose. I can see why they hate Maxx c because it doesn't allow people to play solitare. That just shows the real problem is the game itself. Modern yugioh is trash compared to what it once was. Retro formats are where it's at. No one complaining about Maxx C. Like it's good against madolche but they can make hootcake and chill as a backup play. Old yugis was the best yugis. Now it's so broken people complain about Maxx C. The game is too fast so they ban cards that force the opponent to play a more interactive game. That's exactly what Maxx c always did. Prevent full combo and allow the player to try and interact to gain an advantage. The fact that decks today don't have back up plays after getting hit with Maxx because they are afraid of getting OTKd is crazy to me. Maxx C isn't and never was broken, it's the game itself.
@@PistisAdelphos exactly what I was saying but I find it more broken then having just Maxx c imagine the game now minus hand traps accept Maxx c or veiler

I had no idea. I started playing just after Kash format, and I had no idea of the sheer hell that I so narrowly avoided.
Next year every deck that came out in POTE or afterwards needs to be quarantined in their own bracket
Seriously, Unchained, Kash, Tear and Snake Eyes are in a league of their own
These are the only videos that I watch as soon as I have a chance.
You know a deck is hateful when it makes you root for/have pity on smoke grenade era Infernobles

Completely agree. They could have at least required the field spell to use it without cost.
Also blocking zones on either players turn didnt raise any flags during that design process. Makes you wonder.

Kashtira was made in response to their mistake of making tearlaments. Gotta counter the broken deck design by making another broken deck design.

Honestly if they ever come back Shangri-Ira would have to go. Don't wanna go back to full zone locks.

2023 infernoble with agov would probably ruin this kash deck, 2020 decks are just not prepared to deal with shifter decks that play strong grind games
