I've had the nu43 and I like it. The different outputs are just right for walking or running at night. The longevity of the battery per charge. The light weight. The waterproofness. My favorite among the several headlamps I own.
You almost made the perfect headlamp but lost me at the non-removable battery. You have to have a spare battery when using a headlamp for backpacking, camping, SAR, etc.
I had an nu32 for 5 years, very good. The downside about it is that it doesn't have a flood beam but I'm sure there is a way to integrate it to make all their headlamps better. I recommend their products based on my experience.
Love to hear that they use unspecified LEDs specifically. I guess you can't disable the proximity sensor. What happens when you are at low mode and proximity sensor detects proximity?
The proximity sensor drops the brightness to 100 lumens. It won't activate if the brightness is already 100 lumens or below. And its effective activation range is around 5-6 inches. It shouldn't have any impact if the light is in the low mode at a close distance.
The manufacturer says 600lumens can 10hours working time but i switch on with 600lumens function after two minute it will automatically convrt to low light mode. Useless product. Im totally disappointed. Not worth it that price range also.. don tell lies for customers….
I would make sure the battery is charged and the lamp is not overheating, but if both of those are taken care of we would be happy to take care of by emailing support@nitecorestore.com
Why not removable 18650. This not a step forward!!. Think about for 1 second a scenario: You are our of battery power in the middle of nowhere. Having a spare 18650 batteries, (because most of my other Nitecore older headlights have removable batteries). And what you do? waiting to charge the flashlight with the external battery pack? so convenient is just to swap the battery and just go on..what is the problem. BTW having the HC60 for 5 years and still going so strong.(with removable battery)
Nonsense this proximity sensor is a real plague. It's a real pain and super annoying! There is a reason why you need these lumens - certainly NOT to be dimmed when they are NEEDED! That's a real bad feature if you cannot disable it. That would have been easy to include a 4-click action to disable that show stopper.
Your luck, that you produce some good flashlights, because the speaker of this video with his sence of humour is awfull! I couldn't watch this video till the end because of him. I have to watch some reviews of other youtubers instead!
Some say you cannot use the 600 lumens for 10 hours., after 2 minutes it automatically turn to 300 lumens..is that TRUE??? if that is true its a useless piece of sh*t in my opinion.

The funniest flashlight vids on RUclips!

You can connect a power bank to it. The NU43 runs while being charged.
@@Let_there_be_flashlight Great information thanks!
That’s why they have other models
@@Let_there_be_flashlight in ultra-trail races is mandatory have the removable battery.
Thank you for the awesome videos, Love me some Nitecore! You guys are fun to watch and informative.

Non removable battery is a deal breaker .

Will the proximity sensor activate to raindrops that stick to it surface?
Wow. Nice price, brightness, weight but the real plus is long run times on a charge. The lack of removable battery is moot.
You do realize that this video made me order one
Does the light work while charging?
Hey all, can I get some advice on how to take the bracket off. feel way stiffer then other headlamp they make. Thank you
I counted 7 nc headlamps with removable 18650 batteries so let's complain about one that doesn't have a removable 18650 battery
😁 Hey how dare you be so reasonable. This is the internet let the people get mad and cause a fuss for things they could easily avoid!
Nice!! So battery is built in..I get one more 18650 battery,so i can't use it too, right?
Yes, correct, you cannot use another battery with this light unless you use the battery extension case as the battery is built in!
Why Nitecore doesn’t make it with replaceable 1860 battery??? It would have even made it more popular.
Almost perfect for my purposes
When is the video about the P23i coming?
Practical for campers
Do you have a headlamp with a replaceable battery?
Yes I would recommend our HC60/HC65 series if you want a heavy duty headlamp with a removeable battery.
ランタイムの長さと軽量ということで購入しました。
is it true you cannot use the 600 lumens for 10 hours?? some say it will automatically turn to 300 lumens after just 2 minutes.
恐らくそうでしょうね、ランタイムを測った事無いけどMidの300lmもステップダウンが早かったですね。
NU50もHiは5分で300lmになるみたい。
Спасибо!

With a removable battery and high-cri neutral/warm led this headlamp would have been perfect.
I think the use of durable plastic reduces the weight and metal would be needed to allow a threaded cap but adds weight.
Why i cannot turn turbo mode even after double click power button?

Maybe this is the full power version of new NU25.
Is the nitecore NU43 battery removable to replace for a new battery?
No, it is said in the video

🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💪🦆🇪🇦 ,love this brand.
Eventualy the battery will not charge and the lamp will be useless
Несъёмный аккумулятор?!? А потом выкинуть??? Бред!!!
