Purchasing one this Wednesday. Been watching this headlamp for about 2 weeks. The only thing I do not like is the non replaceable cell. The run times on low and medium, if real, is the reason I am getting one. 31 hours on low, 100 lumens and 16 hours on medium, 300 lumens, unreal! As always, very informative and entertaining videos. Thumbs up! PS your not a big dumb fart lol and I love your sense of humor!!
300 lumens is all a person needs for normal trail use and a 16hr runtime is awesome. I don't need a light that has strobe or a crenulated bezel, bears don't give a sh!t about those things. I don't need a light that puts out thousands of lumens... for a minute. What I want is a light that has high/med/low (800L, 300L, 100L) with good runtimes (5+hrs, 15hrs, 30hrs), enough flood to light the entire width of the trail and enough throw to clearly see 300+ feet, a replaceable rechargeable battery and maybe an SOS function... that's it.
I love my HC35. This would be a great addition!!! But I'd love to have the ability to just swap out NC batteries in this one instead of having to charge. I have spare NC 21700 batteries. I like to utilize them.
No need. I own HC60 for several years now...and never took out the battery. BTW the NU50 can work DURING CHARGING which is big plus. Other models with replaceable battery don't work during charging. So in emergency situations it is fine.
I was going to buy the NU50 but I compared the specs and the NU50 didn't seem to offer much extra runtime over the NU43. I couldn't see much advantage. You could have used a larger 5000mAh cell which would have given the NU50 a larger advantage. I am pretty disappointed.
Nesse caso carregar uma lanterna na cabeça mais espessa e mais pesada(30 g a mais) por ter apenas 600 mAh a mais também acho que não vale a pena, parece que a nu43 é mais vantagem por ser mais fina e mais leve.
Is the 100lm setting too bright for working on things close up, like in engine compartments, fixing things within arms reach, or in small enclosed spaces like an attic or under a desk?
Cant beleive the battery is not replaceable, also the quoted runtime on 600lm is just not possible from a 4000mah battery, my ledlenser will run for four hrs at 600lm from a 4800mah cell that is removeable.
Yes the headband can be extended to a fairly large diameter and the internal silicone grip strip can help it grip slick surfaces. Additionally we have headlamp "clips" on Nitecore Store that basically hook the headlamp straps onto hardhats.
Too bad the battery's not replaceable, so no deal and especially in these times of manic, consumerism and over. Industrialization I think we should encourage the use of reusable Batteries damn I'll never buy samsung again either maybe their patteries but not their phones S*** can't even shut off the screen and make you sound like corky off. Life goes on
The tilting/ ratcheting design is not very convenient. Even you when you tilt it almost press the buttons. I just purchase NU50 and so far this is the only design flow. Especially when you wear gloves..it is so easy to accidently to press the buttons during adjusting the angle.
Sadly the red light is only 5 lumens on steady MODE.. with a 4000 mah battery it is way very low.. it's there for you to be SEEN and not to SEE in total darkness..A RED LIGHT SHOULD BE THERE TO SAVE SOME OF YOUR NIGHT VISION IF NEEDED😢
@@romantashevRT Yes my friend that's why I shifted to NU43. Maybe our preferred need or use for Redlight is different.. But my point is they reduced it from 10 lumens to 5 lumens which I think is unnecessary..But both are good Quality headlamps👍✌️

You probably can replace the battery but won't be superez

I do agree with you. Any model you suggest
The 21700 battery is the way to go for headlamps based on my experience with the HC35 headlamp.
I love my HC35. This would be a great addition!!! But I'd love to have the ability to just swap out NC batteries in this one instead of having to charge. I have spare NC 21700 batteries. I like to utilize them.
Does it feel heavy wearing it? No weight issue?
Mas só 600 mAh a mais acho pouco, melhor a nu43 que é mais fina e mais leve usando uma bateria 18650.
Yeah I wish we could get a long runtime 600lu. I work in the rail industry and 600lu is immaculate for doing ground work and moving cars.
I sure miss this guy. The new staff just aren't the same.
Needs a replaceable battery. No deal.
Charge time is a few hours ?
agree, would have been perfect with a LR60.. Need a NU60 with this Nitecore!

i can't turn off the sensor proximity, any trick & tips ?
What is the runtime for turbo mode
Is the 100lm setting too bright for working on things close up, like in engine compartments, fixing things within arms reach, or in small enclosed spaces like an attic or under a desk?
I do not think so as the beam is pretty diffused, but everyone's eyes are different, if it is too bright though, it has an 8lm ultralow
What is the runtime in turbo mode?
How gigantic is gigantic? Would it fit a size 8 noggin?
Yes, I am also a size 8 noggin 😭
Cant beleive the battery is not replaceable, also the quoted runtime on 600lm is just not possible from a 4000mah battery, my ledlenser will run for four hrs at 600lm from a 4800mah cell that is removeable.
we dont like internal batteries its disposable
You didn’t give detailed runtimes…
I take it the run times for each setting must be s**t since that is the one things u didn't mention
- Turbo - 1400 lm - 130 m
- High - 600 lm - 77 m - 11 h
- Mid - 300 lm - 53 m - 16 h
- Low - 100 lm - 30 m - 31 h
-Ultralow - 8 lm - 8 m - 180 h
- SOS - 1400 lm
- Beacon - 1400 lm
can you replace the battery?
NO
I have received this headlamp. Can I charge it with phone adapter?
Of course.
Can it run "flood light'' mode only?
Unfortunately not, but many of our headlamps, like its cousin the NU25, definitely can!
Wow 😳
Will it stay put on a hard hat?
Yes the headband can be extended to a fairly large diameter and the internal silicone grip strip can help it grip slick surfaces. Additionally we have headlamp "clips" on Nitecore Store that basically hook the headlamp straps onto hardhats.
@@NitecoreStore O peso dela incomoda? já que é uma bateria 21700 ela fica puxando pra baixo por causa do peso?
The batery can be changed ?
Yes, it can. But you need a appropriate tool for the job, like a hammer and a lot of precision
so the battery is not removable?
Correct!

It does have a nice body
I was masturbating to it too...

Have you tried the red light at night? I've used it on NU50 and I could see well in full darkness.
