The charging limit is actually used in asus devices from ages. Its just apple making fuss about it. (Yet they use the worst quality batteries too 😅)
First of all apple is giving the slowest chargers of all (not in box). Which takes hours to get full. Now there is option to get cancel charging at 85%💀

It's there in OnePlus phones even before also. These guys don't even research and say they copied it from ios. Dumb youtubers😂😂😂

Battery charge stop at 85% is in One UI as well. Also One UI as that recently used tool bar at the right side, where we can pull out recently used apps,
85% charging limit is there on samsung phones since last 2 yrs, if I'm not mistaken. But no, iOS brings all the features first.
Samsung did the sidebar thing more than 10 years ago with the edge series

@@viveksingh3187 no actually. Charging limit was placed on note 7 only in end 2016/early 2017. Later, this was introduced as a feature to extend battery lifespan with android 12 mostly.

Samsung had the extract text from image before any other 0EM. You could do that using smart select from the edge panel. It was available from Galaxy S8 ( 2018).
would have been better if lockscreen customisation was included

Btw some features like auto pixelate , are already available in OnePlus Nord 3 os13 . Infact I even found the predictive back gestures setting in the developer options. And I m not a beta tester.
Samsung was the first one to give the feature to extract text from an image. Currently, I'm using S21 FE SD 888 and i find half of these features already available in Samsung from previous year ONE UI 5.1

@@tusharbansal75 The battery is not satisfactory as it usually gives me 4 and half hrs of SOT on a single charge in which I play Efootball for around 2 and half hrs(its around 2gb) and normal browsing ,social media even my AOD is off. Other than the battery the smartphones camera , samsung UI and SD 888 works well for me

I'm using S23 and I'm almost getting 6hr SOT everyday with no doubt of out of juice......even sometimes I stretch it to 7 1/2 hour with wifi using and power saving mode.....despite having a small battery of 3900 mah.....it's so well optimized...

Hey could you let me know if dragging something then using the other finger enter home screen then opening the WhatsApp app and dropping the the file there like in Samsung. Is that a feature in oxygen os 14.. not using the file dock and direct drag drop

The notification pannel should have changed as per the leaks were shown , it is very similar to oxygen os 13.1

Sir how's the stability of the software? I mean stutters etc? I haven't updated my 11r since I've bought it just in apprehension that updates might bring in stutters and green line or some other bugs. If the update is stable then I will update it

Actually, the search button on home screen was already there in Oxygen OS 13 and 13.1 🙂 (it is called global search)

Sorry Ershad, but limiting the charging to 80% is NOT from iOS. It has been there in Asus Zenfones starting from Zenfone 6 itself!!! And is there in all the rog models as well!

I want a typical Oxygen OS experience. If I want Apple experience I should have bought an iPhone. Notifications dissapear after unlocking the phone, fonts don't change when selecting another font, etc, etc, etc, ... I did a rollback to OOS 13.1. That was/is a stable OS!!
Pls focus on themes and icons... It wil give refresh looks to the user interface. Nobody is covering this aspect in detail. MIUI is best in themes category. I'm using oppo Reno 6(color os). Its themes sucks, very boring icons and customisation. Pls review MIUI latest versions also. Ur explanation is good.
Whatever copy they take from ios one plus os is by far most smoothest os i have ever used second to ios...limited micro stutters are the main advantage

Realmeui is in beta stage so it would be late to arrive on devices check official timeline
Different devices has different timeline so check if your device name is there on the list,if the device got 2 major updates already then chances are low if haven't then wait...

Battery life has reduced drastically in Oxygen Os 14.Earlier i used to get 9-10 hrs SOT on my OP 11 Oxygen Os 13.1 ...on Oxygen Os 14 it's 5-6 hrs only

@@nccapone344 all companies include bloatware with their phones. Best thing you can do to significantly improve battery life is debloat the phone with features you may never use. I.e realm features and aod are a huge drain on the battery with tons of bloat tied to it. Guaranteed the new carbon tracker is just as bad. You could also install a custom rom. Lineage os brought my s10 back to life with nearly a full days worth of battery. The Battery's health Is estimated to be at 73%
