Excellent review ! Thank you. It's too bad that Chevy did not include a camera rear view mirror like my 2020 Chevy Bolt or a Bose stereo and subwoofer system like my Bolt.
2025 is not next year... they have been out for weeks... I bought an LT with no options other than the dual level charger (it was included , no choice) and sticker was right at $35k. With dealer incentives, GM incentives and federal EV tax credit I paid $23,290 prior to taxes and govt fees. For the money I think it is a crazy bargain. Still the same 85kWh battery and range.
I'm curious if there is anything in the old tire section. I purchased one, and all it has is one tow bar with a number of empty slots. Is this where the jacks and tire replacement items would normally be held? The EV has no tire after all. :( Do I have this wrong? Am I missing anything? Thanks!
We just got our 2024 2RS in Winnipeg , SO far handling winter amazingly well... very very good heat...amazing traction and ice manners... faster cabin warmup and defrost faster then a ICE car
@@REMMc-jx7vc I'm not sure as I put on 18" steelies with Michelin X-Ice .... my guess is the factory tires are mediocre in winter, I think they are designed more for max range then max traction... If its in the budget I would put proper winters on
you probably wont miss it, the onboard system is very good and you can still integrate with phone..plus the app options are expanding and soon you will be able to add Android Auto and Apple Car play through a 3rd party vendor ...but after owning it for a month I do not miss carplay one bit , the google setup does what I need even better
Man removing apple carplay and android auto just destroyed this car's potential as a big food deliver/rideshare car. You can do those things without those features, but when there are other options to look at, Chevy can't afford to throwaway things that are that useful.
Thank for the review. best thing is that they got rid of the Android Auto and Apple Car Play, Google Integration works perfect with you Google account. Range of 319 will only be achieved if you drive at 55 mph. Real time driving will get you 250 at the most, which is still awesome for the price of the vehicle. Got my 1LT and I don't miss any of the stuff that I got on the 3LT demo drive. Besides 2 and 3LT comes with 21 tires which gives less range. How difference of point of views from a female driver...Next time do the still shots on a paved parking lot, cant believe how dirty those tires are on a Review Video...
I Am getting 464 KM (288 Miles) Real world range in Winnipeg winter conditions running Winter tires.. I am blown away with the range, and we don't drive 1 pedal nor do we drive economically.. the initial departure from the house uses wall power to warm up, but at work its just sitting outside in the freezing cold, my wife and me share it as she works midnights and I work days... the range is fantastic , even in winter with the heat cranked
I got a 2023 Equinox RS with a gutless 1.5 engine, this is the worst vehicle. I ever bought from GM. It's a leg killer, there's no room for your left leg, you are sitting lapsided not good for long trips, the mirror blocks your front view and all 4 pillars block your lateral view, the steering column and driver's seat are hard to adjust, not a gas saver at all, for you have to really step on the gas pedal to make it go and vibrates like an old grinder when idling. Worst vehicle ever.! The dealership won't stand behind their warranty
I've already seen some Equinox EV owners get their infotainment modded to add carplay/android auto by their dealership. It's started to roll out in Michigan. Best damn deal in the EV space with carplay to boot is dangerous to Tesla. I myself have the RS2 version of the Equinox EV and have been averaging 335 miles per charge. Best car I've ever owned by FAR.
That’s what I thought but it’s not even an issue. They’ve done a great job with the user interface and with Google. You will not miss Apple CarPlay and I’m saying that is a 20 year Apple fanboy

You’re absolutely right the Equinox EV LT is indeed a bargain. What financing terms did the dealer offer?
I got the 2025 based model too. Love the car so far. Too good of a deal to pass up.
@@larry4fire Mine was 0% for 4 years. I will keep my money in safe stock haha
Just got my 2024 2RS today. Very nice
Same here the other day. 3RS do see any sensors on the bumpers? I park like 2 feet away not getting any front or back sensors going off? Great video.
Very informative and organized review!
Well & balanced review. I think it will be a segment winner. Thx for the video. I enjoyed watching

6:30 - Is it possible the Chevrolet Equinox has "linear power delivery" because it doesn't have the power for any acceleration beyond that?
Tesla doesnt offer projection.
No Android Auto is probably a deal breaker for me.

Super crusie is amazing folks. Better than my husbands Tesla haha

04:30, get ready for your kids to get car sick back there with no view out.

Tesla model Y is cheaper and has better range with AWD.
New Equinox LT1 is $27 k with incentives, what does Model Y cost new?
@@EV_Spottingthere are 2024s going on sale with 12-14k incentives and 0% APR for 60 months too. Just awesome
And uglier.
Man… u r doing some serious mental gymnastics going through that noggin of yours.
