I grew up there on an island called Pepel i lived there with my sister and mum and dad and it’s not far from Freetown i absolutely loved this place i was there from 1974 to 1984 and i just didn’t want to leave my friends, i was 7 and my sister 9 when we left Liverpool my dad was a manager at the iron ore company in Pepel we had a few skirmishes with war but nothing like 1991 but yeah loved this place, I’ve never been back was going back but Ebola stopped that but before i die I’m sure i will go back just to see how much it has changed
