They somehow do especially when you compare their accents with other African countries I can hear it because I am not from America you guys can’t because you are used to the pure form
Isn't that how the media portrayed other countries too in the Middle East? Such as Iraq, Iran, Syria, and oh boy, Israel and Palestine. Drew visited them too, but he never got raided by terrorists or getting his car bombed in front of him

It's not that Liberians crave to be in another country, it's wanting to see something that you've heard so much about, something that you're country is influenced after. It's no different than someone from America wanting to visit/live/embrace another country or culture that they haven't seen. Side note, not one person makes a country, and all countries have it's good and bad regardless of how hard you work.
I’ve always wanted to travel. Watching your videos are so great because you explain things so well without bias. I love your videos! Keep up the awesome work 👍
Great video! Crazy that throughout many of these vids, many of the people of each country view America as basically paradise, while the people that live there always complain about the smallest things and their president when in reality, they're over exaggerating a lot of their 1st world problems. These people are thankful and finding ways to be happy (in one vid you have, the kids were having the greatest times of their lives playing soccer with a WATER BOTTLE) and most of them don't even have access to half of the things Americans get. Just a reminder to take a step back and realize that you're life in your first world country isn't as bad as yall act like it is. Be thankful! Great video Drew, been binge watching all these lol.

And most people have if not all American descent at least partial American descent. It pretty much is the U.S.A in Africa (West Africa). Only differences are being independent and its own country and sovereign state, using pounds, along with using American currency, they also have their own Liberian currency, different national holidays I assume, and some people have different sounding accents compared to the majority of Liberians who sound like if they were from Georgia or so. Liberia is such a beautiful place! Much love, hope, and friendship from the U.S, specifically with and alone the Florida Peninsula.
hithere Not true man, I researched and it said that it was colonized by the U.S and annexed into the country for a short time until becoming fully independent. It’s like the same with Yucatán Peninsula, in the year 1848, the Yucatán peninsula was an independent nation that Mexico and the U.S didn’t recognize and government officials from Yucatán traveled to Washington D.C to convince the U.S senate and government to annex The Yucatán as a state of the U.S with a flip of the coin decision from the senate that said no, the same situation with the Yucatán is what happened with Liberia as well.

Speaking as an American, they don’t sound American. I’ve met several Liberians and sometimes their accents can be hard to understand depending on how thick their accent is.
Sitting in a van with some too sometimes I understand sometime s I don’t
They somehow do especially when you compare their accents with other African countries I can hear it because I am not from America you guys can’t because you are used to the pure form
I think it is more that they don't have a British accent. In many parts of the world the default accent in English is the British accent.
no but they dont drop their r’s after vowels and they pronounce their r’s the same way we do instead of a tap or trill like in most african accents
America do have different accent

I sincerely hate that mindset Liberians have about the US. Work hard and smart to make your country the paradise you want not crave to be a foreigner in another country
Nah, my country is far beyond fixable, plus it's a monarchy, so even if I wanted to be the king, I cant

You really have to be more than naive to think than the US is heaven or any other country
@@franctokyo5981 Still refreshing to hear any country having such positive comments about the US of A. While pretty much everyone, including some of the USA's 'closest allies' hates the US, and there are so many negativity reported from within the US. @@Curtis69213 I know Liberia had a lot of issues on its end, but the civil war was already gone years ago
Dude! Liberia seems and looks awesome! Its almost identical to the U.S.A seeing as it was part of the U.S.A at one point of its history.
