    When I installed the fender flares on my Tundra I bought some 1 inch 3M clear vinyl tape to go between the paint and the flare. Anything not directly bolted to the car, like the front roof fairing, is gonna vibrate and rub but the vinyl is a cheap sacrifice. Bring it over and I'll buff it out 😁 Now I need to convince my darling that her 4Runner roof rack needs an update 😄

      Thanks for the advice. A very good idea for the future. I think most of the scratch would buff out except for one tiny spot were the paint wore all the way through. I need to touch it up soon.

    Keep the 4Runner videos coming!
    I remember in a past video you gave a shout out to a RUclipsr and mentioned that you were copying them. Well guess what, I’m copying you. Tires ✅ LFD Bars ✅ RTT ✅
    Can’t wait for the flooding and bizarre weather to stop so we can finally get out and start exploring with our 4Runner.
    Thanks for putting out such great content!!!

    Really enjoy the vids. I'm starting the process of upgrading my 4R (2019) and want to get out in Central WA. I'm on the westside of the mountains, but it's not THAT far.

    I've had several 4Runners, the latest is a 2022. Why they use the crappy plastic in the cargo area just amazes me. No matter how hard I try, sooner or later it just get's scratched up. And it doesn't take much pressure to mess them up.

      Yeah, I see what you’re saying. Adding the panels has definitely been beneficial already… even for just daily use.

    Ive been wanting to do a roof rack on my '21 ORP but ive seen mixed opinions on that they screw up your Sirius XM reception. Do you know if this is true or not?

      Wrap the spacer in electrical tape! But yea Victory should just powder coat them like the panel itself.

    Have the LFD cross bars faded with time? Asking for those of us who park under the sun pretty much all year round.

    • @JasonExplainsThings
      @JasonExplainsThings  2 года назад +1

      We park it inside at night, but haven't noticed any fading. There have been a few little pitted spots that had surface rust that I've touched up.

    For their side interior window molle, do they offer different options for the driver/passenger or are they compatible with both sides? I only noticed one on their website for the 5th ten 4runner so I am assuming itll work on both sides.

    It looks like the forward/lower bracket blocks the space used by the cargo cover? So no cover if you use the side racks?

    • @JasonExplainsThings
      @JasonExplainsThings  3 года назад

      That’s a good question. I didn’t buy the cargo cover so I’m not sure if it’s blocked or not.

      All over really. Some are probably from amazon, others from the hardware store. Just simple velco straps.
