Very useful tips!! Loved the video! When I started doing my own makeup few years ago Benefit had only shades 1, 3.5 and 5 and now there is sooo many options for everyone which is great
They bounce off each other really nice, very watchable. I have an even amount of red and blonde highlight in my hair. But it’s also a bit ashy brown, so it’s difficult to find something that’s cool enough that it doesn’t look weird with the ashy brown, but isn’t too dead when compared with the very colorful natural highlights I have. It’s a great video. 😘

The new tip I learned from this is to go a little lighter, so I changed the benefit product in my faves from “neutral deep brown” to “neutral light brown.”
Idk if there are any men here, but the rule is opposite for men! Go a little darker.
I wish photos of models could have been included or models calling in for a consult would have been great. It helped but still not quite sure.

My brows have never matched my hair color and I love that. Brows are medium brown and my hair is reddish brown. I do have to make sure I don’t make the brows super dark.
Im blonde with very light eyebrows, they're hard to see! The benefit 1 is great with the gimme brow for some volume as well. I don't want them to look flat! Thank you!!

Which pencil will cover stray greys? Should you go darker pencil if you have some greys. I like one product rather than using 2.

i have ashy brown hair but grey is the only colour brow pencil that looks right on me (with a few light strokes of black). It looks a lot more natural than any of the brown shades in me. It's worth experimenting with colours you don't expect to suit you.
My skin is between light and medium, dark brown sometimes black lol hair with black eyebrows. Can't figure out which shade!
🎉🎉🎉 I love Benefit. I have medium salt and pepper hair. I thought that Grey would be a good color for me but it was too green. So I tried 3.5 it was ok but still a little green. So I went to sephora and the associate showed me color 5 and it is my perfect shade.

I have dark brown warm hair but my eyebrow are thick and black in color which shade shoul I go for 4 or 5 . I am confused . Cause I want natural look also I dont want it to look unnatural by going very light
I wish you guys had a 5 and a half because I’m neutral but 6 seems to be way too dark for me but 5 is warm and I’m neutral to yellow tone
Taupe or neutral light brown is good for me. My hair is dark blonde( with highlights) & has a lot of warm/golden undertones in it but my brows do not. Until I found Taupe, most brow products were too light, too dark or too orange. I either go with a lighter brow gel, clear or soap brows.
Taupe has been a game changer for brows!

3,5 in Benefit PMB is too warm for me and 4 is too dark. Lighter shades are too light. My hair is about shade 6 with warm undertones and my brows are lighter with very thin hairs. I can't go with shade, that is as dark as my hair color. (My skin color is light medium - similar to Myeisha.)I use other brands in light taupe. But I have problems with lasting power. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much for the information and guidance. When I first started doing my eyebrows a beauty consultant told me I “have “ to buy the shade Ebony from the ABH pomade because she said my hair is dark. But when I put it on it looked a lot darker. And I didn’t like how I look.
Give some of the brunette/brown tones a try, it sounds like that color family will be more ideal than ebony.
This video is perfect timing for me. I'm platinum blonde now & recently tried bleaching brows. The result was too light and I actually used the grey Benefit Precisely my brow for a few weeks to add a cool tone back in. It's growing out out golden & the grey no longer looks right. Thanks for the advice, I tried some darker shades with cool undertones & it's looking much better. Another 2 weeks & I'll have my natural ash brows back! I'll have to play with products then to see if I was using the right options before. Much love David & Miesha ❤❤❤

I lost most of my eyebrows from chemo. I am trying to figure out a shade. While I have darker hair inside, but it lightens up outside showing red highlights. I am glow in the dark white skin. So I am having problems finding a color.
I am Pakistani with fair skin olive golden under tone and dark brown hair. Which shade I should use? I used to use Ebony shade in Anastasia Beverly Hills. Please advise. Thank you

Brow pencil would be the next step for a beginner. You can try Benefit's Precisely My Brow, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz, or whichever one appeals to you and has the shade you're looking for.
My hair is dark strawberry blonde, or a light copper, or some variation in between. (LOL) But my brows (and lashes) are so light, it looks like I don't have any. When I get them tinted, I use ABH pomade in caramel with a light hand to fill in. When they aren't tinted, I just leave them alone, cause they look weird with everything. :(
Thank you for this video, I found it super helpful! I have a more specific question - my hair is slowly naturally changing from blonde to brown and I am not sure when I should start using brown eyebrow pencils. Right now I would say I am a very dark blonde. I am not sure of my undertones unfortunately - my skin is insanely pale but my face is also constantly a bit red naturally. My veins are both blue and green which doesn't help! I'm currently using a blonde eyebrow pencil and I think it might be too light but I have extremely thick brows and I am scared of making them look unnatural/bold! Should I wait to make the change until my hair is definitively brown? Thanks so much!
From personal experience (your coloring sounds very similar to mine) maybe try Taupe. Benefit has a "sample" or travel size available in some of their shades. It doesn't have a spoolie but you're not committed to a full size/full price pencil if you don't like the color. Hope this helps or David answers your question.

Not one specialist in Ulta or Sephora knows what eyebrow color is best for my hair color combo. I haven't found a color yet that I absolutely love. Ever since I went all natural with my hair color which is dark brown mixed with grey its been hard to find that perfect color.
try MAC eyebrow pencil .
In the past I plucked my eyebrows too thin and now they won’t grow back. Now my eyebrows are grey but their thin so brow pencils can be too dark. So I’m always looking for a way to fill them out that’s still natural. The Benefit Grey looks like a possibility.
What if you have an olive or yellowish skin tone & dark brown hair?
I have fair-yellow skin tone and warm dark brown (nearly black) hair- I use the Benefit 5.0 and ABH dark brown, which is slightly lighter than the Benefit 5.0. I hope that helps a little. 😊

What shade would you go by with balayage ombre type hair? Your roots or the lightest hair? That is where I get confused.
You can try for both and see which you ultimately prefer.
I think at least a shade lighter than the roots would be nice, something kind of inbetween.

Blonde with dark brows Problem is brown gels and pencils and pens often pull too warm
It was helpful, also knowing about cool and warm undertones, I have brown hair with natural red highlights from the sun, but my hair turned Grey where iT frames my face, I gave sparse eye browns especially towards the nose, have had problems with eye brow color having red under tones. Also skin above and below eye brown is red? I don't know what's causing that? 64 yrs old.😢
Mary Ellen Hughes Sometimes the undertones and redness levels in our faces can change as we get older, sounds like some color correction around the brows may help.

Yes I think it would. Plus if you buy from Sephora or Ulta you can return it and try another shade.
My hair is black but looks a warm brown under lights. So maybe it’s a brown black. I’ve been using a pure black eyebrow pencil. It’s probably too dark.
Love these videos but I do think it generally is the same 5 or 6 faces in almost every video (besides the short brand videos) so just a though to maybe include some Sephora employees that aren’t necessarily people that are so high up in the company. There are so many amazing artists that work for Sephora who cant showcase their talents yet these same people keep popping up in these videos and they keep getting the exposure

Ok, I'm about to sound dumb but here goes. Brows confuse me, I have medium brown hair, but I don't really know what my undertone is, it just is brown to me so I don't know the color brow I should have lol.
A general rule: put on gold earrings and necklace then change to silver. If you look better, more refreshed in gold then warm undertone, in silver cool undertone. Also go outside and look at your veins at your wrist, look bluish, cool or if they look greenish, warm undertone.
