Im planning to do this on my anniversary edition. Now I have other bikes so the 4RRs are perfect daily riders... i also have a ZX6R, ZX10R, and an R1. Every other manufacturer has a 2 cylinder 700sh cc motorcycle. I like the high revving 4 cylinders. I will go weeks without using the 1441cc zx14r and only using the 399cc zx4rr. I’m a big sound guy and I just can’t bring myself to like the two cylinder sound. The ZX-4 RR sounds so much better, and that adds to the experience. Both of them said that as a street bike, no question the ZX4-RR is better, and one of them said that it’s a ton of fun on the track. To me that sounds like an overall better option.

    • @amisfitpuivk

      The main problem with it sounding so good is that you're shifting and revving so much that it's loud 100% of the time which can get annoying. I take my slip-on off and put the stock muffler back on sometimes (even though not good for the ecu tune) because you can ride normally without waking everyone up. Yoshimura... so good but so loud

    Greatly appreciate the video as I am in the market for my first bike soon. I am going with the ZX4rr... I feel like being able to get it flashed you kind of get two bikes in one... And really I want the ZX6R but I truly want to ride as much as possible and become the best rider I can be cuz eventually I do want to get on track and if I can become skilled enough would love to Enter a race. Being a noob, squid, rook, boot, green, wet, lol in your 15 years of riding experience everything I'm hearing is saying if I start on the ZX6R first I'm making my learning curve progression way more difficult. What is your opinion on that subject? I'm 41 years old I'm a Ford Marine so I I'm 41 years old I'm a Ford Marine so I I'm 41 years old, a former Marine so I do have an understanding of discipline and I'm not out here to do stunts and wheelies to pull ass lol. I know you said in another video get whatever bike you actually want. But I also hear about professionals that always will go down to smaller bikes on tracks to hone in their skills. So going back to the argument of starting with the smaller ZX4RR. And like every other squid out there I'm probably worrying about too much lol but let me know your thoughts subscribed be joining as well soon...

    I'm confused by the conclusion of this video, it seems backwards and counter intuitive. Setting aside the ergo's like clip on height (because that can be easily adjusted to suit rider preference) and focusing on the actual bike, wouldn't the low end torque of the R7 make it the better street bike because it provides more usable power at normal street legal speeds. Whereas the ZX4 with all it's power in the top 30% of the revs would favour track riding, because on the track you can keep it in the sweet spot and you never really go slow enough to worry that the ZX4 is so lacking down low?
    It's the same reason why the engine characteristics of 600's favour the track environment while bikes like the MT09 (which make similar HP to 600's) are more usable and enjoyable on the street.

    • @TrizerFlame
      @TrizerFlame 2 месяца назад

      It’s because of the ergo they feel like the R7 is more track. It’s more planted for what you do on track. Not saying the zx4rr isn’t a more track oriented (and capable) ninja 400.

    R7 all day and if you want a bike that’s better for street riding, but still like the r7 get an mt07. Even more laid back riding style than the zx4 and the cp2 is bullet proof with literally only needing oil changes and valve adjustments. Nothing about the kawi makes sense to me unless I was some rich old dude who couldn’t handle a 600.

    Personally I like the smaller rear wheel. Definitely feels less stable but once you get over that fear it feels more agile.
    Plus that ZX4RR sounds like sex.
    I do like the R7 engine braking mainly because I rarely use my brakes unless needed. I engine brake whenever possible.

    They both technically have the same power, and R7 has almost double the torque. But i feel like would the R7 be faster if it reaches its max power at a lower rpm. Because 70 hp at 8k rpm and 70 hp at 15k rpm just sounds like it would get to top speed faster and easier.

    RS 660 has torque like or more than the R7. Is lightweight but doesn't have the top end of the ZX4. But a better overall bike than both.

      rs 660 have the same 67 nm of foken tork but at almost 2000 rpm lower rpm i mean higher rpm 👌🏻 in terms of topend zx4 rr is wayyy weaker r7 as well is way weaker so what are you talking about that rs660 dpsent have zx4 rr topend 🤷🏻‍♂️🤭🫣 IT HAVE MORE TOPEND 👌🏻 100 hp is more than 77 hp os i quees? 👍🏻 so 🤷🏻‍♂️ zx4 rr spin only higher rpm but rpm is not power dont confuse this stuff cos rs660 smoked both r7 and zx4 r on straight thanks steonger topend /more topend power 👌🏻rs 660 from real world test data need 4 sec for accelerate from 100 to 160 km/h the dame stuff on r7 or zx4 rr take +/- 5,5 sec 👌🏻 160-200 rs660 do in 5,5 sec vs zx4 r and r7 more like 10 sec 👌🏻 rs660 have defeintellys tronger topend anybody who drive tham on track often can tell you this 👌🏻 maybe ypu confuse zx4 rr with zx6 rr cos zx6rr have better topend thanrs660 👌🏻 but not zx4rr 👌🏻☕️
