  • This video showcases my second cook on the rocket stove that I got from Patriot Metalworks & Smokers. I got the big 6” pipe version in order to pair it well with my 23” discada from Southwest Disk, which I purchased a few years ago. This video is demonstration of how well the plow disk pairs with the rocket stove. Though I have trivet to use my discada over a campfire, the rocket stove is much efficient than an open fire and requires much less wood fuel to cook a meal.

Yep! This was the second time I used the rocket stove. Of course I used several times more since this video was shot, a few of those have included this plow disk. Thanks for watching and the comment.

I’m 53 years old. I saw the first star wars in a theatre in 1977. that’s hoods on jackets and stuff remind me of, Ben “Obi Wan” Kenobi. I’m not really a stars wars fan. But I’ve seen several of the movies, but not all them.
It was cold that day for this Louisiana man, Thanks for watching.

It might not matter for flavor but oaks put out great heat and make good coals. I really like that you've been using free fuel. That's how I use my smoker and grill. Don't buy any firewood, split and dry my own.
This rocket stove is really cool. I wish I could afford one!

Thank you. They are bit pricy for budget too. However the price is fair, and comparable to other welding shops. The cost of materials and labor are high now days.
It isn’t as convenient as propane, or the steady heat of charcoal, but it makes use of the fuel the Lord has provided.

I call it a shallow wok! (I love the discada though!) Blackstone,..I have one, have had it for a long time, and haven't used it for a couple years. Not saying I don't like it, but the discada is obviously much easier to use honestly. I agree with the crunch of the onions and peppers,...actually, ...how it should be. Looks great, and I would have enjoyed that toasty warm weather at the same time of your recording! Cheese don't belong on Fajitas, you are correct. Great video!

26°F degrees is far too cold for this Louisiana man. It stayed cold all that week. Which is strange Arround here. Luckily we were back in the 70’s° F by the following Monday.
