- In this video I make a homemade dish that I made up myself, I call it Teriyaki Tiger Stir-Fry.
I purchased a lid and a trivet from Southwest Disk, to accompany my Southwest Disk that I purchased last year. I demonstrate and show it off in this video. I think Southwest Disk makes the finest absolute best Discada, Disco, Skottle, Cowboy Wok or what ever you want to call it, in the industry. (Yes, the great cooking device goes by many names.)

The stir fry looks great! I'm glad you reviewed the southwest disc, I just ordered the 24" Pecos with Trinity handles, trivet and cover! Looking forward to more videos using this product!

Love the videos! I’m three years into my 24” Southwest disk, and agree 💯 with how insanely nice the disk is, and how great it is to cook with. Bought one for my son and family.
I thought I’d mention that for cooking, use Avocado oil, and for salad dressing and sauces use olive oil. Olive oil breaks down into some bad stuff at relatively low temperatures.
It’s what I heard, but check for yourself.

Hey Big Lew! I really like that trivet! And the lid of course but that's a really nice looking trivet for that plow disc! I guess I'll have to break mine out..... So many cookers LOL! Hope you are having a great weekend!

Yes, I know it is. That's really cool and something to be proud of, yet it is not why I recommend SWD. I recommend them because the I think the products are superior to the competition. If it was an inferior product I wouldn't promote them even though he is a veteran.
Can you get that Wok Hei flavor, using the disc?

It’s the 22” Trinity.

How do you prepare your Southwest Discada to use it for the first time out of the box
Just wash it. It is pre seasoned. If you want wipe it with oil.

As far as the Tiger, we’ll it’s predator straight Carnivore, not sure I would want to eat an actual tiger, anymore than I would want to eat an actual Teriyaki. LOL😀

Just got mine a week ago. First cook was amazing. Did ours over wood. Gonna try the lid and the trivet.

Those Firedisc lids have a vent on them, that seems nice. They are not cheap though, yet your Firedisc will be very versitile now. I love having this lid it really has increased the utility of my Discada.
