DeeRC has the quickest customer service Ive ever experienced. They responded same day and sent me boat parts I needed, plus extras. I didnt even have an issue, I just asked how to get replacement parts lol
Nothing is wrong with the gearing. This model has metal gears and i believe they're dry from the factory.. definitely put some grease in the diffs..

I'd guess the gear mesh between the motor pinion and the spur gear would cause that.

I just got one of these yesterday. First thing I did was raise the body to prevent the rear tires from rubbing. Mine sounds horrible when running also, especially at low speed. It sounds almost like the diffs are loose within their housings. At high speed, everything smooths out and does not sound as draggy as the one in the video. I also had to install the wheelie bar when running in the grass.
the last deerrc i had to replace. ordered this one as soon as i heard you were reviewing, then a minute in heard the noise it made i canceld..
Loud , but still performed well. Time will tell if the company fixes the problem or they tell you its just a loud brushless motor.😯🤭🤭. ⚓️⚓️👍💚🧡💛👍😯🤭👍⚓️⚓️.
I have the DeeRC 300e. It is 4WD, brushless, fast as blazes and very durable. At $70, I let my 7-year-old nephew crash it into an outside staircase for almost no damage. When it breaks, I‘lol toss it no worries.
The 4x4gear shaft is in backwards yes it does matter. On gear pitch. It's going work out but will eventually have to be replaced

Sounds like whoever built it from the factory did not cut the plastic gears flush from a parts tree and the marred edges.Equal to a bike with a card in the back wheel for sound. The souls could go away with more runs but cleaning the gear molds will help.
Deerc is a good brand. I bought my wife one a year ago and is super fast.

I'd say the diffs are not meshing right try rotating the wheels if they feel tight it's them or just hold it off the ground throttle up and let of it the tires stop rotating right away once again the diffs
You two have the best videos!!! I have a newbie question. Im a 60 year old with a broken back, so getting out is difficult, and standing for long nearly impossible. I'm wondering if you could recommend a car that will run thru short grass. I would like to cut a "Track" shorter than the rest of the grass. My lawn is not huge, and Im afraid a 1/10 scale would be too big. So, with all that being said, is there that one car that might work? Thank you so much for your time, and thank you for doing reviews on all the price ranges. Not all of us have $1200 for a toy.

Mesh is too tight, it could strip if not corrected.
My rear differential gave me a problem. It won't let the car start if you don't press it if you are not at full throttle, and it makes the familiar cogging noise. I opened the rear differential but there doesn't seem to be any tooth problem. The problem is finding a differential to replace it!!!

My wife got this car ffor my bday a week ago and it is as loud so its got the same grinding noise.
I have this same car and it makes that same rubbing noise, and it’s really loud,
Maybe the wheels rubbing against body?
They all do it, I went through 3 myself and there are countless videos....its because of the big metal gearing. Super tough though.

I have been watching your channel for about the last 2 1/2-3 years and both of you have no doubt mastered flying jet airplanes. So I’m really wondering why don’t you dive in to the hobby a little bit deeper and get a real turbine jet remote control plane you could get them for about two grand. Those are awesome real jet engines. I don’t think the two kind even can compete. Just wondering I really think you guys would do good at it. i’m sure you guys must have thought about it, right?
Hearing Nate’s sorrow when a $300 MPD Commander crashed makes me think he would never invest $2k into a turbine that might do the same thing.

@@TheRcSaylors mine was not having strange noises. But I had to replace the stock shocks because they were leaking when I put some oil. The worst thing is that they are no manual fo this car and even the official site he doesn't have it!!

Deerc is the absolute worst. no parts for a car that everyone "reviewed" last Christmas season. The Deerc 001E is like it never existed.
They run great but I hate the way the body's look! They look old and just like no one put any effort forth when designing them. Lights are cool but they could've put that money towards better looking body's. Did see some cogging when reverseing after powering up. Looks like there trying to steal redcats logo lol.
Wish you guys knew how to work on RCs and quit pushing religion in your videos.
