Upgrade iPhone 12 64GB Storage to 256GB - The Easiest Ever?

- From first iPhone to iPhone 11, Apple has stored serial number, WiFi address, and Bluetooth address on NAND. However, REWA technicians recently discovered that the NAND on iPhone 12 does not store serial number, WiFi address, and Bluetooth address, which means that the NAND of iPhone 12 can directly be replaced by an iPhone 12 NAND and activated. Therefore, REWA technicians speculate that the storage upgrade of the iPhone 12 will be easier than previous models. Check out this video to verify our speculation!

Good Hot Air Station is only 100-150. If you desperate, 858D still will do the job for 30-40. Cheapo 50 soldering station, heck I've been using Hakko clone that cost me 10 for countless microsoldering job.

I understand that the SN, wifi and bt addresses for the 12 series are no longer stored in the nand IC
but is it possible to use blank ic and iPhone 11 to work on iPhone 12 series?
They made nand function back to purely as storage like ssd. We will wait video about rewa pointing which chip that keep the ip12 device ID's

Really what's happened is WiFi/BT IC has most likely become non replaceable if it's now bound to CPU or EPROM. So one service has become a few steps easier but another is no longer possible.
I have a 'quick' 857DW+ helical hot air gun that has air flow from 1-8. You say use air flow 45 to remove the nand. What would be the approximate equivalent air flow on my station? Thanks
So now it’s impossible to unbind WiFi because it’s stored not on the nand, is that correct? So you’ll run into issues if you need to replace WiFi ic? Cpu not readable, writeable or replaceable so if it’s stored there this is going to make it impossible to unbind, so if you change the WiFi ic it won’t activate, is that correct?

Is there a way to view the contents of the NAND after removing it? Like say you left your wife's iPhone 12 Pro Max on the top of the car and then drove off. And then the phone fell off and got run over. And then she informs you that iCloud has been full and didnt back up photos for the past 6 months. And you open the phone and the NAND looks to be intact. Can I get out of the dog house? Can the NAND be removed and the data downloaded off it?

This is great for older iPhones. For 100$ you can get double the storage plus keep your phone intact and water resistance and warranty. Don't even try DIY.

Wait, is this mean we can change the NAND of iCloud locked devices and remove it? I guess the iCloud info is stored in the NAND?
Unfortunately, iCloud locking is tied to the serial number. In earlier videos, they could change the serial number on the NAND to bypass an iCloud lock, but as the serial data is no longer stored on the NAND, this is now likely to be impossible.

Yes. It takes I think 4 weeks and after that a message will disapear.
Just reprogram the nand.
