Great Stuff. I did the same after holding a senior position in one of the UK's top 100 international companies I quit to paint and do Leather craft. that was 20 years ago, I'm 65 now, a grandfather and life is just about perfect. Where we can we should follow our hearts.
I purposefully waited until I had a good strong cup of coffee before I sat down to watch this and I’m glad I did because I’m blown away! The wheels look like they are always turning in your home and the creativity that comes from it is fantastic! I dabble in making leather wallets, not to sell but just to ease the stress in my life and I want to say that you are an inspiration to me and with that, thanks 👍🏼
A-mazing. You have been my leatherworking shaman since I first came across your videos two summers ago. It’s great to see you and your family living the dream and takin’ ‘er easy for all us sinners. Much continued peace and love to you all, Artie.
Great video! Very cool to get a glimpse of the man behind the curtain. Actually it was much more. It was truly a snap shot of the American dream showing what can become of hard work, attention to detail and the balls to go for it!
Came across this video, it opened the doors to the artist behind all the beautiful creations! The home that art lives in, is blessed and has fun! Thank you for sharing 🙌
Artie - You are a true inspiration. I have modelled part of my approach and design based on what you have presented via Instagram and RUclips. Like you, I had enough of the corporate world and decided a year ago to focus my efforts into turning my craft into a semi-retirement business. Most of what I’ve learned came from you. Keep up the amazing work! I appreciate seeing a little more of the behind the scenes and getting to meet your beautiful wife and handsome sons. God bless!
So cool to finally get to put a face to the man, and to the voice, and extra cool to see into your world and learn about your exceptional family. Still an inspiration to me - thank you!
It is amazing to finally put a face to the brand. What a great video with your wife and kids. Great story, amazing product and unbeatable craftsmanship.
3 years to where you are now? Man, as a new leathercrafter, I really look up to your work and really appreciate your videos! Congratulations and please keep plugging away both with leather and videos!! It is a routine of mine to wake up, drink a coffee and watch one of your videos
I quit my 20 year career day job 3 years ago. To do leather full time. I’ve been doing leather for many years. My lead time on orders got so long (37+ weeks), that it made sense to quit the day job.
Very cool! I was a band director for 15 years, and decided to quit to build fishing rods and duck calls, and now I am dabbling with leather as well. 6 years later I’m still finding my way. I found this video very uplifting! Love your work!
That was a great piece on your background and family. Watching your videos is what got me started in leather working. Your videos also helped me get better at the craft of leather working and also taking photos to post. Your spot on when you talked about being able to spot one of your photos a mile a way, that is one of the things I look for the minute I get on you tube is that thumb nail of one of your wallets. Its also nice to put a face with the videos. Keep up the great work you do and I cant wait to see your next video.
Artie, the first video I saw of yours, I connected with your brand. This was awesome to see your start into the business of leather craft. Thank you so much for showing us the tips and tricks. It was really cool to "meet" the family and see their art form too. I can see the bond between you and your wife. A long marriage and raising kids together is the greatest gift and experience in the world. Peace.

Love your story, it’s its really good to see someone doing what they love. Discovering your videos has inspired me to try this craft. Please continue posting these great videos.
Thank you for a little glimpse into your life. I have said it many times your Filmography has become something I look forward to watch every time you post. I wish I had a chance to learn in person from a great leather craftsman like yourself. Can’t wait for the next video to come out.
Thank you so much for sharing this video and your story. I only recently stumbled onto your videos and simply cannot stop watching them. I’m in that in-between place where the pieces to “something” are flying around me and I’m trying to figure out which ones to grab so I can use them to create my own story with leather. Thank you again - I find your work and your story both creative and very inspirational 🙏🏼
Oh man oh man, what a beauty!! Just came across this video, don’t know how I missed it 4 months ago, but I did want to say you’ve made a huge impact on my own leather journey! Love the videos👏👏👏
This was great! The thing that really grabbed me on YT, was a video so full of interest for the eye and not a word spoken! Viewing and learning, keeping you locked in and no talking! I watch them over and over and still find things I've missed. Great concept! You've since added audio and they're as good or better! And you're willingness to share the craft and show how you do it is rare today! Thanks again!

It is awesome to see your story. It gives me inspiration to keep moving forward on my small bussiness. I love your videos and work. You are a true person to look up too and strive to be like in many ways thank you
That’s interesting. I started in 2013 after a visit to a western gear shop in Durango, CO in October 2012. I couldn’t afford anything, but the young chap running the shop gave me a link to Tandy Leather and a few months later I went in a weekend course in a wood near Bath, U.K. I came home on a high with a cluster of pieces I’d made & 31 basic skills I’d learnt. Never looked back! 😁
Awesome video! I'm 4 months late since you posted this but i just wanted to say thank you for your videos. As a newbie to the craft at 50 years old you are an inspiration. Leather craft for me is a small escape to the crafting world. Stay healthy, happy and most importantly,,, safe. Much love from Canada!

Great video. I hadn’t realised how recently you’d come into leatherwork. Really encouraging.
Thanks!! I just quit the full time job a few years ago. I’ve been doing leather and taking orders since 2012 or so.
That is exactly how I pictured it... Congrats for finding "The Way" Artie, you wear it well....!!!
👍👍👍
I know I'm late but the insight into your world was fabulous.
Thanks!!! Better late than never !
Awesome Artie ! Great story .
Thanks! And thanks for watching!
Never too late! The good thing about RUclips videos….. they’re “evergreen”. Their assistance is there forever to fall back on (as long as RUclips stays in business. 😆)
I have enjoyed following uour work. The style the presentation the sensual feeling of working leather superb.
Well said, Charles! And thanks for watching!
My appreciation of what you do, comes from what i used to do pine for leather.
Congratulations! Wow - it is nice to finally get to know you and your family a bit better. As I often say here - your videos are by far the most well done, informative AND enjoyable to watch. You’ve inspired me - now get back to work 😉
Thanks !!! And thanks for watching!
