I had a police officer come to my house at 5 am because of this voiceover banshee. Absolute nightmare. I switched to Iphone for the security, but i’m going right back as soon as I pay this off. Two of my kids like them and both my elderly parents do, but they drive me nuts.

Hi there, I was just watching this video because I was bored. I am actually a VoiceOver user because I’m blind. VoiceOver is a screen reader for people who are blind or visually impaired. It speaks everything on the screen so that way we can use the phone without being able to see the screen. I’m actually a blind person and voiceover is very helpful for us because without it we would not even be able to use our phones. Typing this on iPhone 11 with voiceover enabled using voice typing.

Thank you for this; it saved me a trip BACK to the GEEK squad to fix it for a second time today. If you could do a video demonstrating how to permanently disable this obnoxious feature so it can't "surprise turn on" this nightmare ever again, many of us would be greatly appreciative. Better yet, how can it be deleted from the system, entirely, so there is no danger of activating this hell again.
