Wow, what a great feeling. Just seeing that smile on Tuomas' face tells me the good news.
Same thing happened after the Oceanborn album but he was able to get back and made the Wishmaster, which is a great fuckin' record by the way.
Wishmaster is still the best Nightwish album.

I'm so happy for him that he has her. She is the sweetest person ever. I was lucky to have met her personally. She brings him peace that he never had in years. I dare to say that she saved him. So sweet. ❤
Can't wait to hear more from these. You can tell they're really passionate about this and i LOVE that Tuomas mentioned writing from his own inspiration and not from the expectations of fans. That's what makes him special to me, this is where music truly becomes art and i totally appreciate that.
Just wondering: if Tuomas and Johanna ever separated, who gets custody of Troy? (This is meant to be a joke) XD

Anyone know how or why Johanna speaks with perfect British diction? Crazy... i had never heard her speak before and was expecting at least a decently thick Finnish accent.

I was wondering the same thing myself. She speaks flawless English with barely a trace of a nordic accent, maybe she spent some time in the UK or another native English speaking country ?

No way those guys to lost them talents in weird way...look how they synchronized their skills and produce such a beautiful music in this new Auri what they create together ....back to back with their main preparation for new GREAT WORLD TOUR!...That is amazing..as Tuomas say that is just channel for them to express their emotions in their music..i always waste my knowledge of life when i just listen everything those guys create...

Troy semble ravi ; la destruction progressive d'une personne, les violences faites aux femmes sont une banalité pour beaucoup d'hommes (et, au fait, une femme violée se remarque, comme ils le rappellent). JDG et ses compères peuvent rire du viol (les mots viol et violeur effraient plus que l'acte) d'une femme publiquement sans une once de peur.
Ce n'est pas l'ignorance ou l'inconscience qui pousse la plupart des hommes à faire le mal mais l'impunité. Qu'on arrête de les protéger.

In the sense of personality traits, he's much like him. And like Mike Portnoy. All of them likes to work alone, to direct, and yet they do it for the better.

Its a shame that NIGHTWISH suffers because this kind of crap.
Tuomas find inspiration for the next Nightwish's album because of this "crap" like you said, so there is no shame. ;)
+G Go This is what happens when your ego drives you to surround yourself with Yesmen like Troy and a management team who tells you what you want to hear rather than the truth. You start to believe in the positive feedback loop and live in your own bubble. It's also the result of the more dogmatic segment of the Nightwish fan base who believe that everything Tuomas does or says is justified and defends him to the very end no matter what. What you get is a band leader who doesn't care at all what the fans think anymore. That's pretty much what he says here when he talks about how he has to ignore the internet and social media. On the internet and social media it's hard to completely silence the voices of dissenting opinions, even though the nightwish PR department does their absolute best to do so.
Because of AURI he has now 6 songs ready for the next Nightwish album so I wouldnt say it was a shame he did this project which opened the writers blocks for him. And the album is GOOD even though obviously its more mellow than Nightwish.
It's a shame that some people are ungrateful and can't appreciate what these artists have done for them and music. But fortunately, Tuomas doesn't give a fuck about you, me or any other Nightwish fan who thinks he should only make one kind of music and only songs for Nightwish. I wish him all the best, Nightwish or no Nightwish, Auri and hopefully scoring music for film in the future. Until then, fuck you and have a nice day.

Bands can use or not use social media as they see fit, they can work on side projects as they wish. I don't see ''yesmen'' and ''silencing of dissenting opinions'' (where the fuck are you silenced? lmao.)
