Ultimate Flash Sonic is a fan made Sonic the Hedgehog ( tasvideos.org/... ) game made for Flash. It takes assets from various Sonic games, mostly from the recently released (at the time) Sonic Advance 1 and 2 games on GBA. Despite only having 2 worlds, the gameplay is similar to the GBA series of games.

i love that the TAS of a Flash game is far less broken than the TAS of an actual Sonic Advanced, but yeah this gem was my jam in the Fash era days

its been 10 years since i first played this game, and never within those 10 years did i know you could spin dash to defeat the bosses
Man the bosses were kinda annoying when I kept trying to hit them unsuccessfully
This is always a classic when I played it when I was 3 years old it was fun
Surprised this TAS has so little clipping, I remember the collision in this game being ass
Oh no, it is, Trust me. But since these Zones are so Straightforward and Lack Horizontal Platforming, there's Hardly a Need to Clip through Floors and Walls, since the Game doesn't often Put any of that Kind of Stuff in the Player's Way throughout Both Zones

The power of TAS

it's funny, this doesn't use the spring pause glitch. Is it slower for the TAS?
While the Pause Glitch does allow you to Skip over lots of the Levels, it Takes a While to Reach the needed Height to Fly over the Zones. Speedruns Typically don't use the In-Game Timer (Unless the Game offers that Timer as a Feature for Speedruns and the Speedrun doesn't require Pausing), as the In-Game Timer Pauses when the Game itself is Paused. So while the Pause Glitch would let you Beat a Zone much Faster In-Game, the Amount of Time it'd Take in Real Time would be Minutes Longer than just Racing through the Zones as Fast as Possible like in this TAS. So in Short, yes, the Pause Glitch is much Slower than Running through the Levels at High Speeds
