Just getting back into Pokémon and I love sword and shield. The grind and the satisfaction of winning a battle. You feel like you’re in the series yourself. I’ve beat people that are using legendary Pokémon with a team of charizard garchomp and wailord. Trying to come up with skill and strategy just feels so good when it works out especially being down 3-1 in a battle and coming back to win it with your main ace. Can’t wait to explore further in the Pokeverse and battle stronger opponents
Double iron bash is a very nice signature move for melmetal. Even tho if it's not super effective against fire, water or electric, it does a lot of damage like dracovish fishous rend.
Super pedantic question: does prankster really offer any real benefit with nasty plot? Buffing and attack Stat first doesn't seem major if you can't utilize it the same round.
Increasing stats using Swords Dance or Nasty Plot is rarely seen in VGC. Unlike in Single, there is a Sweeper role, and there is no Sweeper role in VGC because you can't sweep properly. Grimmsnarl is a Support because it has a lot of support move, Reflect, Light Screen, Fake Tears (for Kyogre) is very good, and Whimsicott has Tailwind because Speed is super important in VGC
@@MagmaGX sorry he specifically mentioned using nasty plot with prankster. It just stood out haha. I used to run Grimmsnarl in masterball and thought I might be missing some minutiae with priority attack boosts.
@@themrme4031 yup, that's why I said in VGC, increasing stat is rarely seen, the only Pokemon I see using Swords Dance is Groudon, Garchomp, Weavile and some Zacian, for Nasty Plot is Galarian Moltres, I'm not sure but there's plenty more Nasty Plot User. Prankster is rare of an ability too so the user of Prankster is mostly support because they're more useful for supporting than sweeping, or they have terrible stat, some even use Destiny Bond like M-Banette. It's kinda weird how he utilize Nasty Plot lol
Ursifu single strike's signature move actually does a little more damage than Urishifu rapids signature move, despite being a one shot move unlike Urshifu rapids move. Both guaranted crits
Zacian and dracovish. Like really. There is not a team anywhere that doesn't have zacian on it. And you mentioned whimsicot but not the pokemon that caused it to be used. Dracovish

I am surprised there was no Dracovish or Zacian. Before the DLC these were 2 of the strongest pokemon as far as i remember
Zacian is still really good tbh
Corviknight along with battle Armor is so OP 😎.
Regieleki with it's incredible speed plus speed control also should be on this list.
Electro ball on Toxapex rip bozo
Only in doubles it gets walled to hell by diggersby and ground types in singles
It's fast but electric attacks is not really going to do that much on some pokemon
@@turboshazed7370 as a toxapex player oof
Finally he gives credit to Charizard!🎉
No mention of Galarian Darmanitan
Gorilla Tactics is just op
Inceniroar gets drain punch this Gen so it can live more to keep using flare blitz to. And it’s good coverage & healing move to.

Cinderace with Libero is Arceus-tier in competitive.
Where cinderace
Ursifu single strike's signature move actually does a little more damage than Urishifu rapids signature move, despite being a one shot move unlike Urshifu rapids move. Both guaranted crits
Why is Tapu Lele not on this lmao
What about top 10 The most PREDICTABLES Pokemon
Honerable mention, Galar Darmanitan
Also Mr Rhime is quite underatted
Having an ability that automatically removes screens from the field bring a good check to dual screens Grimsnarl
What about Cinderace with Libero ability? That was always a challenge in singles. It was pretty much broken. 😂
I remember playing Ruby… my Ace was either Flygon (like 70% of the time) or Salamence … usually Flygon
Yup flygon was on the team
hot take, Urshifu shouldn't have been a Legendary, it should have been a Pseudo Pseudo Legendary like Lucario, Volcarona, or Arcanine >.>
Kind of true, Lucario, Volcarona, and Arcanine is not a pseudo tho, but still true
@@MagmaGX Why I used the Term Pseudo-Pseudo Legendary >.> Didn't say it twice for no reason >.>
@@durk5331 cool, Pseudo Pseudo Legendary sound nice
11:59 is it just me, but Ground/Flying doesnt make much sense at all lol
Would regi rock registeel and regice be okay
Hopefully, we get a completion of the no restrictions best team series with Pokémon RBY, HGSS, B2W2, USUM and the Let's Go games.
How was it anti meta if it was meta..
I think these choices were good.
I take it this is for singles? VGC was a doubles format and most of these weren’t on the best teams
You could’ve just said the gen 1 starters were great in gigantamax forms bro.
Blastoise wasn't on the list
So where is regieleki?
This is for singles Regieleki sucks outside of doubles
@@308719236 no its not how is grimmsnarl anywhere near good in singles? And ogre, gmax venusaur, groudon and some others are even banned my guy
Any discord rooms for wifi battles on sword and shield? Via codes
Wait where is LAPRAS⁉️🥴
Stephen mad he lost to a Lapras
Zacian is strongest. No doubt
Zacian and dracovish. Like really. There is not a team anywhere that doesn't have zacian on it. And you mentioned whimsicot but not the pokemon that caused it to be used. Dracovish
You forgot magikarp
PORYGON2
You forgot about the best one Gengar because his gmax can simply and literally eat whoever it faces lol
Somebody needs to make a gengar meme where he just pops his mouth like that random cat
@@rolin8076 I’ve never heard of that but it sounds funny 😄
Dr
You really don’t know anything about competitive 😂
Pokémon sword and shield are better than scarlet and violet
First!
Ultra Necrozma Is STRONGER Than All Those Sword/Shield Mons . 💯💯
It loses the 1v1 against Zacian.
Straight up comparing apples to oranges...
@@Wesker1984 Delusional , Ultra Necrozma BODIES Zacian ! 💯👍🏽

Eternatus Eternamax destroys Ultra Necrozma
Great list but damn no G max Hatterene?
Doesn't have moonblast
I'll settle for da gleam
