The sequence from 1:34 to 1:52 would had been better if the female karate expert had been battling Wonder Woman, since the show was called "The New Adventures of Wonder Woman". When it became clear that Wonder Woman was going to win the battle, her partner, standing by the car, could had rendered Wonder Woman powerless by removing her magic belt. With her magic belt removed, Wonder Woman would become helpless and be taken prisoner by the villians.
The golden lasso hangs from the gold belt that is around her waist. You can see it curled up as she is running at the start of the video, on her right side. What I'm curious about is whether she was shown on the TV show wearing the sword that she uses in the comic books. Does anyone know if she ever used the sword during Justice League or Justice League Unlimited shows?
In the sequence from 0:48 to 1:34, the villian hiding in the tree could had captured Wonder Woman by firing a gas gun at her and knocking her out with sleeping gas. Wonder Woman would had been taken totally by surprise. The villian could had then climbed down from the tree, removed Wonder Woman's magic belt to make her powerless and taken her to his hideout. When Wonder Woman awakened and realized that she was his prisoner, the villian would brag about how easily he captured Wonder Woman.
I used to watch this show as a kid, and I don't recall her ever using any type of sword. Of course, it was a long time ago, and others may have them all memorized (there's always a small group of zealots, ya know), but my sense is that she was too nonviolent for a sword.
The sequence from 0:15 to 0:28 would had been better if Wonder Woman is looking for Steve Trevor when a villain sneaks up behind her and chloroforms her. Wonder Woman realizes that it's a trap, but it's too late as she sucumbs to the effects of the chloroform. When Wonder Woman awakens, she is teid to a chair and gagged next to Steve Trevor and is just as helpless as he is because her magic belt has been removed.
