Lee Joon Go TOTALLY does an awesome job with the role. As was mentioned, the way he has to do the minute expressions or turn from sweet/wholesome father & husband to menancing is A+

Yeah.. Lee Joon gi is phenomenal... his all dramas are good... his Time between dog and wolf is sooooo good eventhough it is old.. you guys should watch it.. his acting.... amazing as a undercover intelligent service agent..

For another thriller k-drama that’s genuinely unsettling, I recommend “beyond evil”. The writing and acting in that one are absolutely amazing!

@@ughoseok8121 Yes! I forget to include that it's more on political side. The other series that kinda similar to Hyun soo's position (accused) is Beyond Evil (mystery, thriller, Psychological) I suggest this as well if you haven't watched it yet
It was ever so briefly touched on how the father claimed Hyeon Su "broke" the promise (of maintaining the secret) by not killing the taxi driver but I wanna expand on that a little. The fact that the father wanted Hyeon Su to commit murder and get his hands dirty gives yet more insight into the dynamic and how little he thinks of him. Like the secret has obviously been maintained and it wasn't even Hyeon Su's fault he was brought to the public's attention ANY of the times it's happened yet he gets blamed for it every time. The fact that the father tells him to just drop off the face of the earth despite Hyeon Su having a wife and daughter is pretty heartless (then again, he believes it's all a masquerade & Hyeon Su is a psycho/sociopath so...)

Lee Joon Gi is perfection in any drama he performs. He lives the character. Be ready to be blown even further in the show.
Spoiler alert....
Basically, what gets lost in this drama either because of translation or the screenplay, too, is that it isn't an antisocial personality disorder (that in layman's understanding is conferred to as psychopathy but in reality are two different things) but actually is a schizoid personality disorder if you look at the documents of his childhood consultation carefully. Many people still call it antisocial, which, by the way, is what is shown in "It's Okay To Not Be Okay."
