Wow, that's the way a bike review should be done. I ride, period, and I want a bike that can keep up with me. You hit on what I wanna know... how a bike really works. Tired of a bunch of guys copying each other talking about a button that didnt feel like what they would have designed (and theyve never built a paper airplane) or how a lid took an extra pound of effort to close.
I test rode this bike and found it very impressive. I’m a Victory guy for many years and kind of resented the Indian brand but this one is one that I’ll own eventually.
Awesome review mate. Bought the 2021 model and took delivery 7 days ago. Break in service is happening this coming Wednesday. I LOVE this bike, been riding since 1987. Cheers!!
I’m excited to see harley’s reaction, I want harley to start making upgrades to their bikes to make it competitive against indian and I want both of them to try and one up each other so we the consumers can buy awesome machines at a reasonable price and owning a american bike becomes more than riding a big lazy V twin cruiser.
The only way that will happen is these Harley riders that can’t even spell Indian let alone read specs and understand pricing need to start buying Indians. Then Harley will start paying attention and building a competitive bike.

Next this whole performance bagger thing is just a fad just like Adam was talking about. Years ago it was big back tire customs that ride like shit. Then it was bobbers, then big wheel baggers, now performance baggers. In a few years that will be old news too. Know there are always those guys no matter what that have to have the biggest and fastest. They just have to be there first. It may be new Corvettes, it may be a snowmobile, or it may be a bike. That part will never change. The fact is back in 2000 give or take a few years you couldn't buy a Harley, they had you on a waiting list. So along came all of those custom bikes, you know all the bikes you saw like American Chopper. Tons of customs flooded the market. All of the sudden Harley stepped up and started making bikes because they were losing profits to guys building a better bike and could get it now. So along comes the EPA and says well those bikes won't meet emissions. So Harley slowed down again and slowly started putting out bikes that were better to keep that from happening again. But it was still to slow and now Indian comes along and builds something that Harley should have been making to keep viable. So this is going to force everyone to step up and build a better bike. Now the whole putting a big motor in a bagger is like building a station wagon or SUV, you're still never going to keep up with a Corvette or a Porshe. You really want to go fast buy a crotch rocket, that's what they are made to do. What's the point of going fast on a bagger? The whole point of a bagger has always been a comfortable ride to go out and experience the scenery. To get out and ride and enjoy this big beautiful world we live in. It's always the girls on the back that enjoy it the most. They are always pointing things out to look at while we are keeping an eye on the road and the other idiots out there. If you are wide open all the time watching traffic. You are missing out on why you are out there in the first place. It's just my opinion , for what it's worth . People are always going to want the next best thing and don't realize what they have right in front of them. Wasting money for thing and options you maybe really use once or twice a year. Most of us ride with no real destination in mind most of the time, it's just let's ride. Maybe a few times a year do you really have somewhere to get. Most of the time it's just let's head that general direction and we will get there when we get there. It's the ride along the way and the people you meet that's worth it. That's something people that have to be a hundred miles an hour with there hair on fire will never understand or get. They miss out on all the good stuff, just like they do in the rest of their lives. I'm not telling you how or what to ride. Do what you want. All I will say is you're missing out. In the words of Captain America in Easy Rider right before he died. He realized that they screwed up. Enjoy the ride my friends, life is short.
@@kennethlaw5216 you do make some great points, only thing I have to disagree with is the performance bagger being a fad. I can't think of a single bagger ridder that doesn't try to improve the performance of their bagger. Wether its just simple intake and exhaust or big inch strokers. Just because you want a comfy long haul ride doesn't mean it has to be a pooch. The idea is as much horsepower as you can pump out with a steady power band and solid reliability. Of never ride one bc they are horrible to look at but BMW is still king of this mountain with 150+hp on a fixed fairing cruiser but I believe they call it a sport cruiser. I dream of a 300hp vtwin bagger for those empty back roads or random amateur drag days. Its way beyond my budget but damn a guy can dream.
@@midget9629 speed has been a trend for years. The whole race to build a bigger inch motor will go as long as it's reliable. So many guys I know used to build their motors only to ride them for 3000 miles and blow them up because they wouldn't keep them of the Rev limiter. So as long as the technology we have keeps up we will be good. I don't see 300 horse being reliable for many years, until some newer technology or metal material comes along. I think before we get there electric will out run all the combustion engine performance. Electric will never be my thing but if you want seat of your pants fun, that's probably where it will go. To each his own. Enjoy the ride.

It's nice to see an honest opinion the trunks actually fit! They fitted one in Denton Texas for me and clips right on! Don't let other dealerships feed you garbage! I got my trunk and I'm designing my own lowers. Did a cat delete and the sound is more awesome. Stereo upgrade speakers in the bags and the trunk speakers are hooked up I'm designing my lowers to fit 6.5 inch speakers I might go 6X9 I've got time spring is a ways off.
When I said in your previous video that watching the vid I posted could save your life was worth the price of admission, just wanted to be clear. There is not an admission fee to watch it, no commitment to sub, shout out, recommend, comment, or even thumbs up. I just think it is a video every biker should watch and be aware of. I've never had anything like it happen in over 50 years of riding bikes...never even heard of it happening, yet it did. Check it out. It won't cost a dime, but could mean avoiding a wreck if you know in advance. Sounds like a great bike, dang, now I want one. Great review, Adam.
My Triumph was liquid cooled.. and it was awesome. I'm buying a new bike in March sometime.. and I'm looking at the Chieftain and Challenger. I've ridden the Chieftain several times and loved it.. but I'm gonna ride the Challenger before deciding. I know how good a liquid cooled motor can be so it'll be a tough choice.
Great review, I’ve said it b4 as a H-D RGU owner. Props Indian for putting so many features on a stock bike that you have to pay extra for on a H-D. Auto Locking bags, sport mode, adjustable wind screen, just to name a few. That sport mode on the challenger WOW!
Great vid. I was so encouraged when I found out you had a bad accident and got right back on. I recently had a bad accident that almost took off my leg but I plan on getting back in when I'm all healed up...

Thanks Adam. Good honest review and I take merit on the fact of how impressed you are with this bike. I would own an Indian right now but we have no nearby Indian dealers here. I can see an Indian Challenger in my future tho. I have yet to touch one but will see one at the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland next month. Can’t wait. I presently ride a 2017 RGU like you, so I’m sure it would be a seamless transition. Think I’ll wait to see what options they offer on the 2021’s. Maybe travel trunk or lowers?
Excellent! Could you help me with a doubt? I'm going to California soon to ride the Pacific Highway, Yosemite and other places. Do you think that Indian Challenger will mades me tired after 150 miles riding on a lot cornes and gear changes? Or should I rent a smaller bike as a FTR ou Bonneville? Thanks.
This is what riders need. Good solid motorcycles .competition is good for all riders when people get stuck on brand the brand starts sticking it to the riders .keep up the good work and God bless America.
Really like the fact that Adam is able to give a review after some extensive miles on a bike. 90% of reviews are those that just ride it from a demo day and most everyone is going to be enamored with a new/different bike no matter what they test ride. No fault to any other reviewer, it is what it is, just glad that there are those like Adam that are able to give the goods an d bads of some actual time in the saddle.
Man I hate doing 1 time ride reviews (sadly I have done a few) I love it so much more when I can get these miles down. It always looks a bit different after miles.
Thanks for the vid. I just wanted to tell you about your ASR dog bowls. We were stuck in 113-degree weather in Australia delivering Christmas gifts to those less fortunate than us. Of course, we took our Australian Kelpie dog, and it saved her life in the heat. I had those collapsible bowls in the car, and our dog was safe! With bush fires raging, it could save the life of our wildlife or our precious furry friends.
What about things like the compensator, chain tensioners...yea I own a Harley and at 45K those are things that I have to address soon on it. How does Indian compares with that type of issue?
Just ordered my 2021 Dark Horse Challenger last week. Opted for the stage 2 with the upgraded audio and all the goodies. Definitely can't wait to see how it compares to my Victory Cross Country.
That traction control, and lean angle assist is NO JOKE. less that 100 miles on my new Challenger, and it had already helped me out on a kick out under acceleration on a big patch of construction dirt, and a slip out on gravel around a corner at speed. Not situations where I would of dumped or laid down, but bike had the issue corrected before I could correct them. Just like Adam said.
That was just a good honest review. No hype, or being dramatic about it. I own a 2014 HD Ultra Limited, I do not complain about performance. I came from a Suzuki GSXr 1000, to a Hayabusa that had all the performance you ever wanted. From what my experience taught me as a 26 yr LEO, the size of the cc's doesn't matter... They will all take you to the scene of the crash if you are riding beyond your ability. Choose what you like, and ride it until the wheels fall off. Great review!!!!

I own a 2014 Heritage Softail, a bike I’ve wanted since the 80’s. I love it and will keep it. It rides great and has a lot of great features: abs, counter balance engine, keyless, 6-speed, great looks (I prefer the look to the new Heritage), etc. However, I GOT to get the Challenger for my next bike!! To have both...oh yes!! ...Oh, and, Adam...gotta love this guy’s review. Great job, brother! A real pro with an objective viewpoint.
This is Victory performance continuing on under the Indian name. Some people don't like it but I think it's great. I have two Victorys and when they get the Challenger a little more refined I may pick one up.
Job well done on the introduction and interview of the Challenger. Lot of questions about this new comer and NOT really being an Indian fan, only 3,4 models; I like. But the Challenger is truly a great looking motorcycle. Especially when, REALLY leaning towards the Harley-Davidson Road Glide; I really enjoyed and admire since 2006. I own a 1992 Goldwing 1500 SE . A motorcycle really stacked with accessories. You answered many concerns of mine as far as HANDLING, Quality, Speed and motor design and power. The Challenger looks great! Fun to ride. I'll keep watch for further blogs.

I think it's awesome to see some competion in the performance bagger market, wich we all know makes things better for the consumer. I've never been the guy to ride what everyone else was riding(I ride a 10' Victory XR) and I had mixed emotions about the challenger when I first saw it, but now that I've seen one in person, I think Indian hit the nail on the head as far as the competition goes! Indian did a really great job engineering this bike!

Looking forward to some more miles on the Indians and your take on them. I also don't enjoy the comparison and I think each brand has its style and public and appeal. Oh great... I had pretty much decided on the bike I wanted this summer. Thanks Mr. Adam now for more research. Parting thought. I had previously taken Indian off the list because they lacked dealerships and I was concerned about parts/maintenance issues.
Nice fair review Adam. I have an Indian Road Master and when the Challenger first came out, I thought it was butt ugly but not anymore. It has grown on me to the point of possibly considering owning. Haven't ridden it yet but I will hopefully soon.
I think you did a good job on the review. I like most motorcycles, but because I can’t afford to buy 10-12, I buy what I like best for me, and my wife gives me her in put as well. I currently have a Victory Cross Country Tour ( pipes and Lloydz air filter, Stage 1) and a Indian Road Master (Lloydz cams, intake and RC Components slipons, stage 2). My next bike will be a Challenger. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not bashing Harley-Davidson or any other brand (there’s a few Harley-Davidson’s I would like to have), but for me for now I like the Challenger. Again good job
Great review Adam. I got to ride one about a month ago and man did I like it. Actually had me thinking of trading my Harley which I just bought. I like my Harley though too just wish it had a few things the Indian did. Beautiful and great riding machine in my opinion. Recommend anyone in the market for a new bike in this style give the Challenger a hard look.
Very fair review! From your description of the type of rider you are , we are the same. I am a long distance soul. I have a Roadmaster that I am very happy with but when the time comes , this will be my next bike. The trunk version of course which Indian will probably release next model year if history is any indicator.
I like the ''smart lean'' technology. But I'm not sure it's an almost 6k$ value if we compared the base model vs the dark horse/limited. I've tried to get an answer/review on that specific question and did not found anything. Could you advise on this?
I'm still a new guy, but I feel like the Challenger fixed a lot of my problems I had with the street/road glide. I just read how bad for the environment motorcycles are, so to see the potential for this bike to be better for the plant than any of the baggers HD has made me think I'm going to be an Indian guy
I loved the review. I think all bikes have a purpose and fit to each riders individual tastes. I rode on rockets in my earlier years and still have a passion for the performance side of riding. Getting older and having knees that don't cooperate led me to the 'performance' bagger bikes. Can't wait to sling a leg over the Challenger once the weather cooperates here in Minnesota. Ride safe....
Great review. When I saw the first one in my area at the dealership I and my wife fell in love with the new look. The only drawback we found was the fixed headlight. We are so accustomed to having the headlight turn with the bars to light up the way at all times. With that said I may need to test ride one and find out what it is like in the day and night riding.
Good Review Adam, I will say for myself that I completely agree with your review and rider opinions regarding the Challenger. I and many other Indian rider enthusiast have been following this new bike since it was first leaked within the Indian community about a year ago however, I'm not just a follower. I am also a owner of the Indian Challenger-Limited model too. It is truly a sport touring bagger motorcycle and Indian nailed it right out of the box. This bike has power, it rides and handles like a dream, it has great styling and the technology built into this bike is easy to learn and it performs absolutely great. I'll also bet this bike platform will go from cost to coast without missing a beat.
Thanks for the insight. Definitly keeping my eye on this one. Looking forward to test riding it in the spring. In still not totally sold on a fixed fairing but this one is growing on me. I do have a question though. Everybody talks about the keyless locking saddle bags but no one really goes into detail or really compares the space inside the bags. They look bigger then the Harley's, but are they? And the ones on the challenger looked a little different then the Chieftan. I haven't been able to compare them side by side. Bagger Drag racing is getting popular now . Indian says it's 122 HP but that's Gross HP Adam has had big $$$ invested into his other kits having big bore kits and hotter cams installed.. Then they were tuned and tested on a rear wheel Dyno.. Rear Wheel HP is a bit less than flywheel HP

I test rode it. Great Machine and im very interested in owning one. And totally agree with just about everything you said. I would also add some Highway bar and pegs, and hope Indian make a trunk to add to it.
Adam, First things first, I said it before and I will say it again..you make absolutely the best review videos on the internet! You tell it like it is with no bias or agenda, and lay down the actual miles to base a accurate real world view straight from the saddle. Adam, having a liquid cooled engine is one thing, BUT I do have to ask, are their cooling fans in front of the radiator like all modern cars have??? Because if not, this bike will over heat in a traffic jam, I know from experience!
A Electronic adjustable suspension would be Ideal and icing on the Cake. My 2017 KTM S.Adventure T bike has it and it is awesome!!! If WP would team up with Indian on this It would really become a UN-touchable.

I agree 100% that the fixed fairing isn't a stab at being a "copycat". I'm gonna have to test ride one of these challengers when I get ready for another bike. I love my heritage, it'll take me anywhere and is quiet comfy. But I do plan on getting a touring model I'm the future. And like you, I'm not biased towards any brand and not stuck on just one brand.
@@robertbenz Polaris did not intend to kill the Victory Brand but consumers were buying far more Indians.. I guess they should have kept a couple of Victory Models around for a few years.. It worked well for General Motors.. Chevrolet , Pontiac , Buick ..Oldsmobile , Cadillac
I've bought a Judge, and 2 Hammers since the shutdown. Great bike s and scared people like you are giving them away. Never again HD, spent more time in the shop for recalls and repairs than on the road.
I’m trying to grab me one hopefully by early next year🤔. Dang, I can’t wait until that day. I’ll definitely be looking for a reason to ride somewhere 😂. I have a LONG ways to go before I’m ready to ride State, to State🤷🏽♂️. I’d ride all over Florida first, than cross over 🤙🏽. I think that was the best review yet. I’ve only been on one once, and fell in love🥰.
Good information and straight opinions on performance. I ride a 2019 FLTRXS (my 4th Fltr). There are 3 models of Challenger, each with a unique set up. I'm waiting for 2021 to get the OEM or After Market to deliver the few items I desire on a touring bagger (lower fairing for rain and added storage, trunk for added storage, engine guard for road pegs, seat options). The price tag on east coast is $28.6k for Dark Horse variant, nearly the same as my FLTRXS. I'm impressed with Indian with the Standard features that HD will probably not have in next 4 years and then HD will make u pay for the upgrades.

Stereo upgrade speakers in the bags and the trunk speakers are hooked up I'm designing my lowers to fit 6.5 inch speakers I might go 6X9 I've got time spring is a ways off.
When I said in your previous video that watching the vid I posted could save your life was worth the price of admission, just wanted to be clear. There is not an admission fee to watch it, no commitment to sub, shout out, recommend, comment, or even thumbs up. I just think it is a video every biker should watch and be aware of. I've never had anything like it happen in over 50 years of riding bikes...never even heard of it happening, yet it did. Check it out. It won't cost a dime, but could mean avoiding a wreck if you know in advance. Sounds like a great bike, dang, now I want one. Great review, Adam.

My Triumph was liquid cooled.. and it was awesome. I'm buying a new bike in March sometime.. and I'm looking at the Chieftain and Challenger. I've ridden the Chieftain several times and loved it.. but I'm gonna ride the Challenger before deciding. I know how good a liquid cooled motor can be so it'll be a tough choice.
Great review, I’ve said it b4 as a H-D RGU owner. Props Indian for putting so many features on a stock bike that you have to pay extra for on a H-D. Auto Locking bags, sport mode, adjustable wind screen, just to name a few. That sport mode on the challenger WOW!
Great vid. I was so encouraged when I found out you had a bad accident and got right back on. I recently had a bad accident that almost took off my leg but I plan on getting back in when I'm all healed up...

Thanks Adam. Good honest review and I take merit on the fact of how impressed you are with this bike. I would own an Indian right now but we have no nearby Indian dealers here. I can see an Indian Challenger in my future tho. I have yet to touch one but will see one at the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland next month. Can’t wait. I presently ride a 2017 RGU like you, so I’m sure it would be a seamless transition. Think I’ll wait to see what options they offer on the 2021’s. Maybe travel trunk or lowers?

Excellent! Could you help me with a doubt? I'm going to California soon to ride the Pacific Highway, Yosemite and other places. Do you think that Indian Challenger will mades me tired after 150 miles riding on a lot cornes and gear changes? Or should I rent a smaller bike as a FTR ou Bonneville? Thanks.

Really like the fact that Adam is able to give a review after some extensive miles on a bike. 90% of reviews are those that just ride it from a demo day and most everyone is going to be enamored with a new/different bike no matter what they test ride. No fault to any other reviewer, it is what it is, just glad that there are those like Adam that are able to give the goods an d bads of some actual time in the saddle.
Man I hate doing 1 time ride reviews (sadly I have done a few) I love it so much more when I can get these miles down. It always looks a bit different after miles.
Thanks for the vid. I just wanted to tell you about your ASR dog bowls. We were stuck in 113-degree weather in Australia delivering Christmas gifts to those less fortunate than us. Of course, we took our Australian Kelpie dog, and it saved her life in the heat. I had those collapsible bowls in the car, and our dog was safe! With bush fires raging, it could save the life of our wildlife or our precious furry friends.

What about things like the compensator, chain tensioners...yea I own a Harley and at 45K those are things that I have to address soon on it. How does Indian compares with that type of issue?
Just ordered my 2021 Dark Horse Challenger last week. Opted for the stage 2 with the upgraded audio and all the goodies. Definitely can't wait to see how it compares to my Victory Cross Country.
Now that it's been a year, how are you liking it? I'm on the fence with ordering one.
Black Challenger Dark horse all fitted out like the road master is my dream bike.
That traction control, and lean angle assist is NO JOKE. less that 100 miles on my new Challenger, and it had already helped me out on a kick out under acceleration on a big patch of construction dirt, and a slip out on gravel around a corner at speed. Not situations where I would of dumped or laid down, but bike had the issue corrected before I could correct them. Just like Adam said.

That was just a good honest review. No hype, or being dramatic about it. I own a 2014 HD Ultra Limited, I do not complain about performance. I came from a Suzuki GSXr 1000, to a Hayabusa that had all the performance you ever wanted. From what my experience taught me as a 26 yr LEO, the size of the cc's doesn't matter... They will all take you to the scene of the crash if you are riding beyond your ability. Choose what you like, and ride it until the wheels fall off. Great review!!!!

I own a 2014 Heritage Softail, a bike I’ve wanted since the 80’s. I love it and will keep it. It rides great and has a lot of great features: abs, counter balance engine, keyless, 6-speed, great looks (I prefer the look to the new Heritage), etc. However, I GOT to get the Challenger for my next bike!! To have both...oh yes!!

This is Victory performance continuing on under the Indian name. Some people don't like it but I think it's great. I have two Victorys and when they get the Challenger a little more refined I may pick one up.

Job well done on the introduction and interview of the Challenger. Lot of questions about this new comer and NOT really being an Indian fan, only 3,4 models; I like. But the Challenger is truly a great looking motorcycle. Especially when, REALLY leaning towards the Harley-Davidson Road Glide; I really enjoyed and admire since 2006. I own a 1992 Goldwing 1500 SE . A motorcycle really stacked with accessories. You answered many concerns of mine as far as HANDLING, Quality, Speed and motor design and power. The Challenger looks great! Fun to ride. I'll keep watch for further blogs.

I think it's awesome to see some competion in the performance bagger market, wich we all know makes things better for the consumer. I've never been the guy to ride what everyone else was riding(I ride a 10' Victory XR) and I had mixed emotions about the challenger when I first saw it, but now that I've seen one in person, I think Indian hit the nail on the head as far as the competition goes! Indian did a really great job engineering this bike!

Nice fair review Adam. I have an Indian Road Master and when the Challenger first came out, I thought it was butt ugly but not anymore. It has grown on me to the point of possibly considering owning. Haven't ridden it yet but I will hopefully soon.

I think you did a good job on the review. I like most motorcycles, but because I can’t afford to buy 10-12, I buy what I like best for me, and my wife gives me her in put as well. I currently have a Victory Cross Country Tour ( pipes and Lloydz air filter, Stage 1) and a Indian Road Master (Lloydz cams, intake and RC Components slipons, stage 2). My next bike will be a Challenger. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not bashing Harley-Davidson or any other brand (there’s a few Harley-Davidson’s I would like to have), but for me for now I like the Challenger. Again good job
Great review Adam. I got to ride one about a month ago and man did I like it. Actually had me thinking of trading my Harley which I just bought. I like my Harley though too just wish it had a few things the Indian did. Beautiful and great riding machine in my opinion. Recommend anyone in the market for a new bike in this style give the Challenger a hard look.

Very fair review! From your description of the type of rider you are , we are the same. I am a long distance soul. I have a Roadmaster that I am very happy with but when the time comes , this will be my next bike. The trunk version of course which Indian will probably release next model year if history is any indicator.
I like the ''smart lean'' technology. But I'm not sure it's an almost 6k$ value if we compared the base model vs the dark horse/limited. I've tried to get an answer/review on that specific question and did not found anything. Could you advise on this?
Auto windscreen is a great idea when you're cranking along and it starts raining cats & dogs.
It rained a Deer on me this summer.. Killed that stupid thing with the front of my bike .. had to replace forks headlight radiator ect..
I'm still a new guy, but I feel like the Challenger fixed a lot of my problems I had with the street/road glide. I just read how bad for the environment motorcycles are, so to see the potential for this bike to be better for the plant than any of the baggers HD has made me think I'm going to be an Indian guy
although I will always own a Harley, it's just who I am in my soul, there's so much about the indiana that I am impressed with

I loved the review. I think all bikes have a purpose and fit to each riders individual tastes. I rode on rockets in my earlier years and still have a passion for the performance side of riding. Getting older and having knees that don't cooperate led me to the 'performance' bagger bikes. Can't wait to sling a leg over the Challenger once the weather cooperates here in Minnesota.

Great review. When I saw the first one in my area at the dealership I and my wife fell in love with the new look. The only drawback we found was the fixed headlight. We are so accustomed to having the headlight turn with the bars to light up the way at all times. With that said I may need to test ride one and find out what it is like in the day and night riding.
Good Review Adam, I will say for myself that I completely agree with your review and rider opinions regarding the Challenger. I and many other Indian rider enthusiast have been following this new bike since it was first leaked within the Indian community about a year ago however, I'm not just a follower. I am also a owner of the Indian Challenger-Limited model too. It is truly a sport touring bagger motorcycle and Indian nailed it right out of the box. This bike has power, it rides and handles like a dream, it has great styling and the technology built into this bike is easy to learn and it performs absolutely great. I'll also bet this bike platform will go from cost to coast without missing a beat.

Thanks for the insight. Definitly keeping my eye on this one. Looking forward to test riding it in the spring. In still not totally sold on a fixed fairing but this one is growing on me. I do have a question though. Everybody talks about the keyless locking saddle bags but no one really goes into detail or really compares the space inside the bags. They look bigger then the Harley's, but are they? And the ones on the challenger looked a little different then the Chieftan. I haven't been able to compare them side by side. Bagger Drag racing is getting popular now . Indian says it's 122 HP but that's Gross HP Adam has had big $$$ invested into his other kits having big bore kits and hotter cams installed.. Then they were tuned and tested on a rear wheel Dyno.. Rear Wheel HP is a bit less than flywheel HP

I test rode it. Great Machine and im very interested in owning one. And totally agree with just about everything you said. I would also add some Highway bar and pegs, and hope Indian make a trunk to add to it.
Adam, First things first, I said it before and I will say it again..you make absolutely the best review videos on the internet! You tell it like it is with no bias or agenda, and lay down the actual miles to base a accurate real world view straight from the saddle. Adam, having a liquid cooled engine is one thing, BUT I do have to ask, are their cooling fans in front of the radiator like all modern cars have??? Because if not, this bike will over heat in a traffic jam, I know from experience!

A Electronic adjustable suspension would be Ideal and icing on the Cake. My 2017 KTM S.Adventure T bike has it and it is awesome!!! If WP would team up with Indian on this It would really become a UN-touchable.

I'm gonna have to test ride one of these challengers when I get ready for another bike. I love my heritage, it'll take me anywhere and is quiet comfy. But I do plan on getting a touring model I'm the future. And like you, I'm not biased towards any brand and not stuck on just one brand.

Ha!! Good point. I sold my two Victory's (Cross Country & Judge) when Polaris kill the brand and went back to HD.
@@robertbenz Polaris did not intend to kill the Victory Brand but consumers were buying far more Indians.. I guess they should have kept a couple of Victory Models around for a few years..
It worked well for General Motors.. Chevrolet , Pontiac , Buick ..Oldsmobile , Cadillac
How long will Polaris be around.. You could study the Company Financial statements..
I've bought a Judge, and 2 Hammers since the shutdown. Great bike s and scared people like you are giving them away. Never again HD, spent more time in the shop for recalls and repairs than on the road.

Good information and straight opinions on performance. I ride a 2019 FLTRXS (my 4th Fltr). There are 3 models of Challenger, each with a unique set up. I'm waiting for 2021 to get the OEM or After Market to deliver the few items I desire on a touring bagger (lower fairing for rain and added storage, trunk for added storage, engine guard for road pegs, seat options).
The price tag on east coast is $28.6k for Dark Horse variant, nearly the same as my FLTRXS. I'm impressed with Indian with the Standard features that HD will probably not have in next 4 years and then HD will make u pay for the upgrades.
