Ya, for the beginner, this set seems to have what is needed. It is an inexpensive set, so the quality of the tools is not the best. I don't think a professional who uses the tools daily would be happy with this. However, for a beginner like me. it serves the purpose.
@@Truckerjonsoutdoors Definitely, but as you skill up so will the quality of your tools :) and they are still fairly cheaper in price range compared to other kinds of hand made hobby tools

I made a handful of items. I do like this kit. it seems to have everything I have needed. I would say that for a beginner, this is a good affordable set.

Stock up on needles, I've gone through quite a few. Made a few holsters and knife sheaths, I enjoy the project too.

I'll give you a heads up, deer hide will stretch. Made a knife sheath out of it and my snap closer stretched right out and had to be redone.

The tool you didn't know what it was, was a skiving cutter. The tapered tool was an edge beveler.
