Very good ideas! Those burritos looked delicious! When cheese is too soft to cut try putting it in the freezer for about 15 minutes, it makes it easier. My BFF taught me a trick for a fast breakfast sandwich; in a small bowl you scramble 1 egg, add water or milk and seasoning and microwave for 1 minute and 15 seconds. It fluffs up to make a perfect little circle and you put that on your toast, muffin, or bagel. You can customize with leftover meat, veggies, and cheese. I love your way of making the eggs in a sheet pan but since we're a family of 2 I never make that much.
Pre-making & freezing breakfast burritos was one of my main *go-to* breakfasts for late hubs for years, they were his fave! I'd skillet up a ton of sausage crumbles or chorizo or bacon, then hash browns & onions, then scrambled eggs, then my trick for getting consistent filling throughout was to mix it all in a big bowl with the shredded cheese & a jar of chunky salsa, and use a cup measure to fill the tortillas. After they were all assembled, I'd wrap them each in a paper towel and then plastic wrap n put it the freezer, so he could just throw them directly in the microwave without having to fiddle with the wrapping (and the plastic wrap seemed to help steam them without the plastic being in direct contact with the burrito, and he'd just roll down the wrapping as he ate it so it kept it together while eating without having to sear the seams). Perfect grab n go breakfast! 💜
My daughter was over helping me and she cracked up 18 egg's and whipped sprayed a high ridge cookie sheet she chopped red bell tiny, small onion, She pepper and season salt little sprinkle veggies then spread shredded cheese on top . Put into the oven baked and after cut to the size of a egg muffin and Mayo muffin and egg got them done cooked and vacuum sealer up placed in oven. What a girl I have.
I always just made slices of French toast and cut them after. Easier and turned out great. I don’t think my kids would have ever known the difference. Life’s too short to cook all those little sticks separately! 😂 I’d often serve the whole slices for breakfast, then cut the leftovers into sticks for snack later in the week. Two different styles from one batch!😁
I learnt the hard way to put the pan 3/4 into the oven shelf and then pour the eggs (or pancake mix etc ) in ……much less chance of spilling it …ask me how long it took to clean my oven , floor and my shoes lol😝
I think the trick to cutting the Velveeta into thin slices is to put it in the freezer for 30 min or so to let it get firm and then slice it. You might try wetting your knife with water between each slice.
We had a cheese slicer with a handle that stuck out (like on a frying pan) No telling how old it was, at least the 50’s. It had a wire stretched at the top. When it got dull, (don’t know if it ever broke) my Dad used the thinnest guitar string they made to replace it. He was always coming up with unique ideas. 🙃
You might try wiping all the smelly food with some warm vinegar water then rince with warm soapy water and dry. I used to clean houses professionally and that is what we would do for smelly freezers and fridges.
@ GUARDIAN WARRIOR Q, I used that mixture you mentioned to wash and sanitize my refrigerator, and it worked!!!! Now I have my daughters using it also, the best part is that it's cheap! Thank you for sharing your tip, have a blessed evening🌸
I make breakfast burritos for myself for work. I like sour cream in my burritos, but it gets sloppy when reheated after freezing. Instead, I started using a smear of cream cheese inside. When rolled, I wrap in plastic wrap, press and seal if I have it, and freeze. When I want it for work the next day, I put it fridge overnight, and zap in the plastic in the morning. Peel the plastic down to eat. Work well for me. It took some trial and error to figure it out. Everything looked delish!
The finger, the soapy water the lady said is very smart idea. The slicing of the cheese... Those sliders that temu has that turn by a handle and has three different blades is the best thing since sliced bread.
You could some more peppers and onions in with a can of pineapple and made sweet and sour meatballs over rice. Also you can slice Velveta with waxed floss.
Your kids might like my kids favorite quick breakfast. I take thawed hash browns (or use my own well rinsed and grated potatoes), stir a little olive oil into them, push them into the bottom of a muffin tin and put them in a 425 oven until they are starting to crisp up. On top of that I put any meat and veggies (I precook everything while the potatoes are crisping!), beat together a dozen eggs, about a cup of half and half and salt and pepper and divide that mixture evenly over each 'muffin'. I bake these in a 350 overn until just barely set, let them cool completely and freeze in a large container. My kids will grab a couple out of the freezer, wrap them in a paper towel, heat in the microwave for 60 to 90 seconds and off they go...with a fast, nutritious breakfast! I can make up several dozen in about an hour and it's even faster when I have already precooked and froze my sausage, bacon, ham and veggies! I try to keep all these in individually packaged and frozen as it makes meals so much faster and faster means I am less likely to order delivery!
I make these too and love to have them ready to eat. Since the eggs seem to stick I use parchment paper baking cups ($2 at Target) and they slip right out.
According to FDA: Hard cheeses such as cheddar, Swiss and Parmesan can be stored in the refrigerator six months before opening the package and three to four weeks after opening. It can also be frozen six months.
My mom used to cut Valveeta with strong thread, or dental floss, you can get it really thin. It sounds crazy, but if you actually put your sealed frozen package in cold water, it will thaw quicker, and better food safety
Hi. Freeze the velveeta style cheese till it’s more firm, not completely frozen through. Then you can slice it more thin. Also spray your knife blade with the pan spray. This will keep the cheese from sticking to your blade. You’re so cute. You can really see how much you love your family. I loved you singing to yourself!!!😊
I need to try the breakfast burritos. My mornings are pretty chaotic even if I get things ready the night before. My kids could even eat them on the way to school if we are really behind🙃
😊the little egg was sooo cute😳that big one must have hurt coming out🥚☝🏻you just might need to have her checked out😉 😁I hope your hubby had steak🥩 & 🍳eggs for breakfast...I tell ya the poor man is starving and going to wither away to nothing😊

When cutting Velveeta, either stick it in the freezer for a few minutes or spray the knife with cooking spray
4 dozen eggs!🎉 You’re rich. 😂

What a girl indeed!! You got a good one there!
When you prep breakfast muffins and burritos, it helps keep them less soggy to wrap in paper towels and then the Saran Wrap.
If muffins or bread or cookies gets dark in the oven or toaster, scrape it across a grater just a bit. That will all scrape off
I do eggs in the large size muffin tins and they fit perfectly on the muffins I have
We all did a collective "AHHH" when the eggs spilled - just like my kitchen :)
Darn nabbit! Haha
For slicing the Velveeta, try cutting it with a piece of thread doubled up.

I like that idea much better...haha
I make these and wrap them in a paper towel when I cook them. It helps for some reason. 😂
I learnt the hard way to put the pan 3/4 into the oven shelf and then pour the eggs (or pancake mix etc ) in ……much less chance of spilling it …ask me how long it took to clean my oven , floor and my shoes lol😝
I was totally holding my breath during that part! Love cooking them that way now
I'll be doing that for sure next time..haha
I’m freaking out over the mateos jar 😍 it’s my absolute fav salsa 😂
As for that cheese, Temu has a cheese slicer that will help you a lot with slicing your cheese. I have always had one and it works so well.
I think the trick to cutting the Velveeta into thin slices is to put it in the freezer for 30 min or so to let it get firm and then slice it. You might try wetting your knife with water between each slice.
Dental floss or fishing line works good for cutting Velveeta or any cheese.
And it's that why three is a ton wire cheese slicer for soft cheeses

Those plants look wonderful now! Glad you decided to keep them and revive them! ❤️
Me too!!

@ Gardening warrior Thank you for the tip! My son forgot some shrimp in the freezer! It dosent smell very cute😳
Thanks for the tip!

@@lilyflores7018 You are very welcomed.
Great 👍 breakfast variety. Yummy, now you can have 2 cups of coffee. Lol ✅ enjoy, relax
I put my sealer on the very edge of the counter, above a drawer and use the drawer to support the bag while I seal. Then I lay it flat to freeze.

They sale cheese slicers on the stores, it has a thin string you drag across the chase, 2or3 dollars , works very good on all cheeses
I'll give that a try! Thank you !

You need one of those things wire cutter things for your cheese
Lol, love the song you were singing to yourself while prepping 🤣

Jammerill just did 40 freezer breakfast meals, just for inspiration.
dental floss is a great cheese slicer
I would try making some sausage gravy to add to the breakfast burritos. My husband loves them that way.
Great non messy way to cook the sausage Patties, love it !!
That was some seriously awesome food prep!!! 👍
You could some more peppers and onions in with a can of pineapple and made sweet and sour meatballs over rice. Also you can slice Velveta with waxed floss.
That is a great idea for those meatballs! I'll try the floss next time! Thank you!

we don't eat pork but we do have beef chorizo and sometimes turkey chorizo
I do cook bacon in the oven but I never thought about doing the sausage in there. I will now 🙂.
It turned out pretty good and had nice sear to it as well!
Momma when using Velveeta go in tool box and use a tiny piece of wire . Floral wire works well too . Thin cheese
Dental floss also.
I use a piece of thread to cut my Velveeta. Works great
Do the same with pancake batter. Spray cookie sheet well poor it on add fruit if you like. Yum that and egg ya
I bought all the makings for egg bites just need to put them together and freeze lol.
Very nice!! They came in handy for a fast breakfast!
The clothes pin is a fantastic idea!
I think so too!
I cracked up when you went in on that burrito, I thought poor husband was supposed to get that!!!!!
HAHA!! I know! I had to remind myself it was his!! Haha
My mom used a piece of floss to cut cheese when no cutter
I add water to my scrambled eggs too. not sure where I heard to do it though!🥚🥚🥚
It really does help so much!
You might try microwaving on 50% power for longer from frozen. I have found this helps heat burritos more evenly and completely.
Chorizo is delicious. I cook it with eggs and put it in tortillas
Yummy!!
Question . I got some packaged block of cheeses
How long is the cheese good for when it says best use by ....weeks months etc
According to FDA: Hard cheeses such as cheddar, Swiss and Parmesan can be stored in the refrigerator six months before opening the package and three to four weeks after opening. It can also be frozen six months.
Cut cheese into two inch blocks and fold dental floss pull it down to cut cheese.
My father in law would use evaporated milk to make spaghetti al carbanara with bacon and egg sauce. We have it every year for Christmas brunch.
That sounds delicious!!
Would putting citrus peels in the freezer help with the crab smell ?
Cut the Velveeta with dental floss. Genius way to cook the eggs!
Girl your sandwiches and burritos look so yummy
Maybe next time you can scrape off the burn part of the muffins. They will taste better without the burn part.
I think it would be a good idea to open the little packages toss little bags then wash your hands before touching the food to chop.
Sirloin strips, the way you cut them, also makes the best stroganoff
I'll have to give that a try!! Thanks!
I want to try that one day
Oh Wow I'm jealous I want a kitchen aid mixer so so bad lol
Good evening Pretty Carolina ❤
Hey girl!
Sheet pan pancakes or french toast is always good.
Whyyyyy have I never done French toast in the oven?? It would be so much faster than on the stove top.
Everything looks delicious except the chorizo sorry i never could eat it but great job on the freezer meals
Trying to save up for one but something else to pay always takes over and I never get to purchase it :(
My mom used to cut Valveeta with strong thread, or dental floss, you can get it really thin. It sounds crazy, but if you actually put your sealed frozen package in cold water, it will thaw quicker, and better food safety
Dang! You go girl! Super ambitious! I need a nap after all that work you did!
BTW: Surgery went well! I’m home recovering! ❤️
Prayers for a speedy recovery.
So happy to hear it went well my friend!!
Use a piece of thread or fresh fishing line to cut Velveeta cheese 🧀
Hi.
Freeze the velveeta style cheese till it’s more firm,
not
completely frozen through. Then you can slice it more thin. Also spray your knife blade with the pan spray. This will keep the cheese from sticking to your blade.
You’re so cute. You can really see how much you love your family.
I loved you singing to yourself!!!😊

Chorizo breakfast burritos?! Yes please!! Currently starving(making lunch while I watch) and this makes it worse, lol
You could always scrap the over cooked area off your english muffin
😂you are so funny! I wish I had you close by so we could be friends. I am learning a lot with a lot of laughs! Thanks
Why thank you!
some great ideas fantastic
I wish I had a gas stove...maybe one of these days🤞🤞🤞

Dental floss glides through velveta cheese
Those are huge burritos are they for the adults?
Yes!
Busy woman…. Way to get things done!
Can't eat beef anymore Dr's orders
Try a cheese slicer, I bet Temu has them. :)😄
I love this kind of content. Please do more. And uh...pressing the x is your best bet...ain't that a life wisdom?
It really is. Or just restart it...best advice ever! Haha
FABULOUS video
Thank you!
Use dental floss to cut Velveeta cheese.
I am so hungry now!!!!🤣
Velveeta cut with a wire cheese cutter - a strong thread might work in a pinch.
There NOT burnt they are perfect for my taste. I would just tell my family. " Just a little extra teeth whitening" ha ha.
😊the little egg was sooo cute😳that big one must have hurt coming out🥚☝🏻you just might need to have her checked out😉

They are very expensive
I love how you sneak in the fruit and vegetables every chance you can, every thing just looks fantastic 🤤 ❤❤❤❤

Dental floss will cut the cheese. Lol
Try using a thread the next time you want to cut the cheese
Use dental floss to cut your cheese. Works great
