@@jamesdoe8619Your comment has confused a lot of people. I have tracked it down with a Google search: which led me to a site showing the following quote "How John Locke's theory of property - and its racist exclusion of Black and Indigenous people - explains U.S. history from 1776 to January 6". So it appears that instead of Sean's correct surname of Lock, the original poster's autocorrect added an e at the end making it Locke. For those not versed in obscure and mostly recent US history (like 96% of the population of the planet), this was a bigoted person.
That is not a stripper. That is Joe Wilkinsons half brother Fabio. He is a member of the crew and is in every episode. He is the model who presents prizes, does sketches. There are videos about him and are definitely worth the watch.
A reaction I’d love to see would be to a beloved tv star who died last week, Paul O'Grady. Many tributes were paid to him, including from the royal family. Paul came to fame as Lily Savage, his drag persona who back in the day - amongst other things, hosted the big Saturday night game show “Blankety Blank”. The Saturday night game show was the most prestigious job in light entertainment and was family viewing, generally drawing the highest ratings of the week. Lily hosted the show for a few years. There are some great outages from that show - and others she did on RUclips, knowing they were going to be edited, the outtakes are a bit more 'adult' than the show as aired. Before Lily, there was Dame Edna, another absolutely hilarious drag character who appeared at several royal command shows - even doing a skit with Charles and Camilla in one. Before Dame Edna there was Danny Larue. Danny was all about the glamour and music, he did a royal command performances too, he had his own tv show, he had a club where he would perform regularly and even did some big west end shows, things like playing Dolly in the musical "Hello Dolly”. As well as the fact that Paul died last week, this seems a perfect time to do a reaction to him, at this point in the US where drag queens are being vilified and feared, it would be an interesting contrast to the UK, where drag has always been loved and admired, with its stars being totally revered.
I took my son to a festival. We went to the comedy tent and were right at the front half hour before Bill Bailey was due on. My kid (teenager) was complaining that we should do something else whilst we waited. With 20 minutes to go I had him look at the size of the crowd and he complained less... He was in hysterics throughout the entire routine and was a bit embarrassed about his previous behaviour. Check out Bill Bailey! You're missing out!
Oh, man, you really do need to watch some of Bill Bailey's stuff. Especially anything where he's playing musical instruments as part of his comedy show - he's genuinely brilliant.
Love your appreciation of our shows. Sorry you got burnt in my country of Scotland, it's rare we even see the sun. It does rain alot in my area so it's sooo green 💚
Great ittle compilation video! Strictly speaking you shouldn't refer to this show as 'Countdown'. Countdown is a daily(?) show in the early evening slot, and is a much more serious puzzle show. The format is the same- with the letter and number puzzles, -and Suzie Dent and Rachel Riley perform their same roles. However, although there might be occasional amusing asides, it's not a comedy show. Some years ago, there was a comedy panel show called '8 Out Of 10 Cats' (named after a well known brand of cat food's advertising campaign) with Jimmy hosting and Sean and John as team leaders. The premise of that show was correctly guessing the results of various polls of the public- some pre-existing and some specially commissioned for the show. There was a lot of comedy banter, as you can imagine. Then at one time the '8 out of 10 Cats' team did a series giving an '8 out of 10 cats' spin to the format of several popular game shows. These were aired as one-offs, all calld '8 Out Of 10 Cats Does .......', but the treatment of '8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown' was so successful that they commissioned it as an ongoing programme.
@@justonecornetto80 yes, and I don't think Jon does 8 out of 10 cats anymore either. Last time I saw it, Katherine Ryan and Rob Beckett were team captains.

Lovely to see you laughing. The "stripper" is Robert Deaton, character name "Fabio". He's part of the joke about "old fashioned" Quiz Shows. They usually had attractive women keeping score, demonstrating prizes, or playing "eye candy" in vignettes. 8oo10cdc turns that on its head. So 8oo10cdc has scantily clad _male_ 'models' doing those kinds of tasks. It's a running joke that he is Joe Wilkinson's half brother because they look so different. Brest Wishes. ☮

Iceland? I got family there, where on Iceland is he if I may ask? There's been a lot of snow there recently. The village of my mum's ex-husband on Iceland had a major avalanche recently, thankfully no one was severely hurt (just some cuts from the broken glass from the windows being hit by the snow etc).
On the daily afternoon version of Countdown which has been an afternoon staple since the mid 80s Rachael and Susie are so prim and proper . The comedy mash up has been a huge success from a improbable idea and they are a big part of that .
You really must watch a comedy sketch called 4 candles on the two Ronnies show. It's English comedy at its best and can be watched by all the family Alan
You should check out QI another panel show with full episodes free on RUclips, most the people on this video are on it at some point, I'd recommend the giant tortoise clip
Cats does Countdown is late night TV ! I don't really have much time for regular Countdown, but comedians doing maths and making words is usually hilarious
Mock the week, 8 out of 10 cats and 8 out of 10 do count down (this show) are all good shows that have the same sorts of comedians on. We have loads of little shows like this in England. Dunno why but we love a gameshow in England I guess 🤷♂️
lol with words sounding like they are actually English words i thought the same when i first heard about "auto barn" thinking it had to be some weird barn on wheels or something, lol, only seeing it's not English when written.

Lots of mathematicians are horrible at what Rachel does. Because it's a skill set you hardly need in most of math. Calculate in your head? The vast majority of math, in research and practice, never actually calculates anything.
