@mitdxiw If you watch the video again you will note that we explain this as one of the differences between the two models. The newer model has the sub-seconds at 6 o'clock. The older model had the sub-seconds at 9 o'clock.
In regards to the Rolex Daytona In House( 4130), in what year did they first come out with the Fat Hands? I believe that when the first 4130 Rolex Daytonas came out in 2000, they still had the thinner hands. Also, in what year did the Rolex Daytona come out with the polished lugs and bracelet? Thanks
Would you know on what year did they start using the Blue Parachrom spring with the Daytona? Wasn't it some time in 2005? I believe, before that they were using a Gray Parachrom pring with the Daytona when it first came out in 2000. Anyway, what is so special about the Parachrom spring? And lastly, what are the advantages of the Blue Parachrom spring over the Gay one? Is there a big difference between the Blue and the Black? Thanks.
Why do some people prefer the movement of the Rolex modified El Primero Zenith( 4030) over the newer Rolex In House( 4130)? What is there in the Rolex modified El Primero Zenith( 4030) movement that these people love? Thanks.
Excelente Video (GREAT JOB( as alway: For my watch Fans: This is the Top Rolex watch to own, most popular model (many thnaks to steve McQueen). You should own one New or Used and any model (Stainless-Gold&Stainless-All Gold Yellow/White. & or Platniuplatinum!!!
@grayandsons I know you dont sell fakes - and good on you for that! With that in mind, I would like to know your position on legal homages - the 'look and feel' of the Rolex or whatever brand is copied as faithfully as intellectual property laws will permit. If you want to know what I mean, do a Google search on brands like Nautec NoLimit, Orient, or Alpha.
@grayandsons The second sub-dial should always be next to the 6, but in one of the shots, it was next to the 9. Just curious why this is - this is typical of fakes (not saying yours is) which is probably why any prior comments were made.
that's a good review of the two daytona watches, both have great movements
@Bossiiiii - Gray & Sons does not sell fake watches. We are comparing here two different models of the Rolex Daytona - both original and authentic.

The Calibre 4030(Zenith) Daytona is the only Rolex that I would purchase.

This looks like an early 116520 based on the bracelet clasp. Interesting how it has the 16520 style skinny hands, was this a 2000?
