Dj on his own and drone footage back. Normality had resumed
I know. Hate the vids when he’s with some other plonker. He must know we all hate it as there’s always plenty of messages telling him. But who are we? We just make him money so why would he listen to us 🤷🏻♂️
Yes better on his own, with pj they just both act like knobs😂 but on his own much better!
@@fF-jb4gs yeah I’ve noticed dj acts different when with someone
I nearly unsubscribed when he worked with foul mouthed Marti Blaggerbugger 😂
I'm not a fan of DJ diluting his content with less capable sidekicks.
I delivered here last Friday and do so often they are a good company to deliver too and security and yard staff are always helpful and polite 👍👍👍
The security guard was friendly and professional enough. It's unfortunate that the loaders were breaking the law. No doubt they will rectify this; but an auditing revisit is needed.
This is a private road that is also a Public Right of Way, and for that reason it is subject to the highway legislation so i think DJ is correct
Private roads just mean that the owner maintains them. They can still be highways and used by the public. Even if to drive down and realise they are lost and turn around. A truly private road is one that is behind a gate.
No number plate could also mean no tax, no insurance and no MOT. If i was the trailer owner (Jack Richardson) i would be asking some awkward questions to the aite owners
Not a boring video Dj, you make it so damn interesting! Your passion is contagious! Now Metsa, sort them damn plates out, if i was in that gatehouse not 1 more vehicle would have left site!
The shunter at the end needs to do his cpc courses again he will learn these regs. What an a hole 😊
The shunters are also operating with only the 2 airlines connected
(yellow and red)
There should be 5 in total plugged into the trailer.
2 electric cables and 1'ABS lead.
So no lights or brake lights and no ABS will be working either on the trailer either.
Not great for other road users or public using the area.
The DVSA would have quite a bit to say about this.
Dj. When I used to work in the builders yard years ago. If the customer wanted a size piece of timber we never stocked. We would get metsa to special order and be cut to size before coming back to our yard then to the customer. They do good grade timber. Plus loads of other products.
Al DJ , 😊 and your right plates are a legal requirement no ifs and butts ..snd the guy in that car is WRONG .
Cool I'm from Finland. Finnish word Metsä means forest in english. :)
Love the new echo FROM ABOVVVEE😂
Nice to see you back on your own again
Funny how some "auditors" in the US argue for 'right to travel' without a plate, license or insurance. Nice to see folks like DJ actually have common sense. Respect.
Not a legal requirement on any vehicle owned by the Monarch. The Queen's private vehicles carried no plates on public roads, I would expect the King's vehicles to be the same.
The Queen 🤔
Who needs excitement when you can watch a nice and calm video. Great work.
Liked the echo effect on the "from above ".....😂😂
Like the echo, "from aboooove" Huge wood manufacturing sight
Have you ever tried reporting a vehicle with no number plate, you can only go ahead with the complaint if you have the registration of the vehicle 😂
I've been all around the Spalding Industrial estate today DJ visiting every spot where you left a key ring. And they've all been taken 😢🙄
Hello from Finland 🇫🇮 🤣
Where is the Shunter picking the trailers up from??? (ie) How far is it traveling, to pickup these trailers??
If the entire road was their land. The security gates would surely be at the start of their land.
About a quarter of a mile
Ha! I work here! Just want to say, the part where you see a silo and say you'd hate to see this place go up, you'd need more water than that... That silo holds 750,000 litres of water and in time of need, all that water would be pumped through an intricate set of pipes through each shed and through a sprinkler system. I also believe that the road is a private road between Metsa and the port of Boston.
17:15 Just as DJ is snitching on the plate-less driver.. another one drives right past 😂
Great video and views, wonderful meeting professional security. ⭐⭐⭐
Along the river was mud flats and saltings which now form the park along the public footpath. Metsa Wood constructed on former fields and dirt berm along the street likely aids in flood protection. The street/footpath wye and pull off are part of the country park parcel and Metsa Wood property line crosses their drive entrance. At 6:30 straight line along the trees and Metsa fence would be the property line (Land Registry map).
It looks like a very well managed site .
Perfect performance from this company well done. Plus they knew you. Even telling them about a problem they were really good. Other companies take note. This company in my book get a 9/10 only because they didn't have number plates. If they did id say 10/10 what do you think DJ? X
This comment makes me proud to work there!
All vehicles in a public place are required under the Road Traffic Act to be road legal.
It doesn't matter if it is private land, it's if it is open to the public. The road was clearly a public place therefore every motor vehicle has to comply.
🎯🎯🎯
Love the echoe on let's look at this place from "........above!!!!!!😂😂😂😂
Top editing there DJ 🎉
The shunter has to display number plates on front and back as well as x & insurance if it goes n the highway, and the trailer has to display the number plate also with correct colour on all units.
Hi DJ next time you see one of these shunters ask if it has a MOT to be on the hiway
no plates is pure driver neglect and a serious offence
the W M Armstrong Lorry , was the first Lorry on the moon ..
There's a big thing going on at the moment with the way companies are treating timber, the chemicals are coming of onto contractors hands & are toxic apparently, "The Roofing Outlaw" talks a lot about it, mostly tile lats, blue & red treated timbers
Loving the vlogs mate you need to come up to Durham, Newcastle and North Shields (where I live lol) mate
Go to Scunthorpe , there is plenty of industrial estates there for you . Maybe try the steel works 👀
Yes and wales steel works tata
Indeed, the Normanby Gateway and Skippingdale estates spring to mind!
Special use vehicle may be exempt? In the US we have ones known as "Farm Use", for example.
Also, our commercial, on-the-road, tractor units typically only have a plate on the front. The logic follows that since it's pulling a trailer, the rear plate would be obscured. The trailer would have its own plate (different number and usually different licensing office/state).
Our plates aren't usually removed at all once they've been affixed, unless the company changes ownership or home office location.
Fun fact that vehicles operated by companies with locations in both the US and Mexico will have 2 separate number plates: one from their Mexican State government, and a comparable one from the US state of registration. So tractor units will have a both a Mexican and US number plate affixed to their front bumper, as well as affiliated DOT numbers for the types of commerce they are authorized to conduct.
You are correct DJ ref number plates on public roads they also must be taxed. If towing a trailer plates must be on front/rear and both sides of the terberg thus alowing you not to have a plate on the trailer its seff.
funny how dj says "yawhat?" i thought that must be some obscure thing we say up north because when i say it to anyone who isnt from the north they just ignore it like ive said nothing lol. actually he sounds more northern than leicester.
Theres a DJ Audits keyring on ebay I'm considering buying as I don't think I'll ever bump into him or come across one 😂
😂😂 there are rare
Am I correct in saying you also need road tax and insurance?
Oh nooo... did you finish Spalding?
I was thinking that you will do a video about Dalehead
Another interesting video -than you! 👍
Lest it be of interest there are a number of exceptions to number plates - potentially the most well-known being any vehicle driven by the King (don't think he was present during your visit). 😄
Other exemptions are mechanised plant and machinery used solely for the purpose of working in the road are also exempted - as are electric bicycles (etc).
From aboooovvveee 👽🛸
On my doorstep and I didn't know. I live ten miles or so North.
I have walked along that Riverside footpath at lunchtime when I worked on Boston at the College a few years ago.
Two different shunters without plates.
Deservrs more than a keyring, about time
You're a better version of yourself on your own, no need to have others with you doing audits.
Wish I knew you were coming Boston I would have came and made a video with you
These drivers need reporting.company do it so as not to pay for registration etc.
When it's a yellow vehicle and you wear a nice helmet then you don't need a number plate 😂
"from above" !!!!
Liked drone with music more.
Oh dear,3 drivers were just sacked.😂
I also got wood
Great video mate! Loving these at the moment getting better and better
In the UK there are 2 companies contracted for spraying operations according to an interview with pilot in The Exposé
2Excel Aviation is the largest, and the one that's had a lot of Facebook publicity over the last week. They've operated out of Doncaster, Lasham Airport just west of London, Newquay, Bournemouth and Prestwick.
The article also says a different company, RVL Aviation, is based at East Midlands Airport. It is a Danish-registered company. RVL bought at least two Boeing 737s. These 737s are part of a group of aeroplanes that are entirely white, and have been spotted spraying over Cornwall. RVL’s aircraft operate out of Newquay, Southampton, Stansted, Teesside, Prestwick and Liverpool airports.
The picture below was taken in Leeds in 2011.
The Paris Accord was signed by David Cameron in 2015.
If Randall Weems had a RUclips channel. Christ almighty 😂
I’m loving the from above echo, awesome.
Tugmasters are number plate exempt
Hi did you get in the sight this afternoon, I’m the girl in the black car hope you didn’t get arrested 😂😂 😂😂
Yessssss
They know they just dont want to pay.
What does keeping line of sight in your drone laws mean ? It seems you fly your drone quite a distance away from yourself.
It means being able to see the drones orientation without the aid of spotters and artificial help.
Was it the camera, the front offside tyre looked very low.
I still hope that everyone else says FROM ABOOOOVE too
I was watching this with a Bluetooth headset in a local café, and I hollered out "FROM ABOO-OO-OOOO-VE" when DJ said it. EveryOne was staring at me like I'd lost my mind.
Red-faced, I exited the café, leaving my cup of tea and half eaten slice of cake!
Reminds me of Colin Furze!
Haha! Glad I'm not the only one😂
@@sirbarnabyst.johntoffingto9017 that never happened.
@zone93designs . . . come to think of it, you're right. I didn't leave the slice of cake. I've just found it in my jacket pocket.
Where are the shutters going?
Well done, mate. Brilliant as always looks like a good place to go fishing.💯🇬🇧
That’s a private road the footpath is the sea bank which takes you to Skegness
Ownership is irrelevant, if it can be driven or walked upon without hindrance of a barrier or clearly defined legal boundary, its a public highway.
Its why gates were invented.
Spot on MP, do you cling onto a drone to get to the footpath?
Oh dear. You missed the point.
Going by your rule you wouldn't need numberplates in a supermarket carpark access road, but you do.
Maybe attaching your vehicle to a certain amount of balloons so it floats about 12½ inches from the ground, it would theoretically not be classed as a road vehicle, and would therefore temporarily not need a required registration number.
Planks of wood like the ones behind camera
The board at the end of road under Metsa sign actually says it is a private road to Havenside Country Park, and only the footpath is maintained at public expense according to Find my street. You could be wrong on this one DJ.
irrelevant, if the public can use the road it is a public road, there are no gates nor no entry/private signs and I am sure the country park is public.
@@george-ev1dq as I just said, the board at the end of the road states it is private.
It is a public FOOTPATH, not a bridle way so are cars actually allowed to use it? I wonder if Metsa will decide to enforce the private road now and stop cars using it?
@@milkosteve could be a private road but it has public access, impossible to stop any cars entering the road.
@@george-ev1dq I would say if Metsa wanted to stop the cars they could if they own the road, access is only allowed by the owner and if they decide to stop it they could, especially if they put up no unauthorised vehicle signs or separate the footpath from the road which is not impossible.
@@milkosteve they would legally have to put security gates which would have to be closed, that would hardly be welcome from the companies that need the public in their factories or business . I doubt very much if they could block the access to the public park .
Not sure if I'm the first to notice, but none of those shunter wagons had any number plates on them, front AND rear. Clearly there is public vehicular access so surely if for instance there was an accident how you would be able to identify the vehicle? Not sure if you picked up on that one DJ...one to watch out for going forward with other videos,
I lived in Boston for a number of years. Just in the same way that knife/knives have a “”silent K””, they omit the “”invisible Y”” in certain words: fuse (fYuse) becomes fooze; computer (compYuter) becomes compooter; RUclips becomes YouToob etc.
Other quirks are words like myself//herself/youself becomes mysen/hersen/yoursen.
Cold becomes code.
Some of these pronunciations have stuck with me.
They also pronounce boots/Boots as boo-its/Boo-its.
It’s infectious. To this day I still wear football boo-its.
It has also mutated. Even though they pronounce beans as BEANS, I can’t stop calling them be-ins.
Is there a cure for this?
EDIT: the predominant accent in the area has now very much changed to “”Eastern European””.
Aww, you didn’t give that guy a keyring?
16:55 He did :)
He did.
@@JustwhoisAh, I missed it. That was a slick one. I half watch and half listen and usually home in on when he announces their names.
It’s DJs fault. He should introduce a bigger prize than a keyring. Like a Speedboat - like in Bullseye 🎯 in the 1980s 😂🤣
Glad to see David up again 👍. There were lots to see with the drone.
Metsä’s slogan on their trucks looks like greenwashing : how is importing wood from Nordic countries to transform it in the UK sustainable ?
I worked in this industry in Canada for 14 yeas
OMG we make wood products that store carbon.

😊
sawdust collection vac system.
I’ve always wondered why you pronounce it youtoob 🤷♂️
Local accent. Quite a few accents pronounce the “yoo” sound like that. Look at how Alan Sugar pronounces “new” as “noo”. Perfectly normal in some parts of the UK.
@@TimeMeddler it’s not normal anywhere in the uk. In America people say toob for tube or doo for due or doon for dune etc and being as Dj is from Leicester it’s just abit unusual.
F-F-From abooooovvvveee
Should have just said, all your vehicles are being driven illegally on a public road without a numberplate, which also means not insured either.
Incorrect
@@marcmellor9062 How so considering a number plate on a public road is a legal requirement? As is Tax, MOT and if you have neither you're NOT insured - fact
4:56
Absolutely sensational new "From above!". Going all-out cringe-worthy with it. Love that.
Suomi-Finland mainittu
So who gets done for no plates the driver or company surely the driver must make sure the vehicle is road legal
I dont think its laziness by the BillyBunters (shunters), as there would be a front number plate permenently fixed, but I would assume that as there is no front number plate or rear, they are not registered for the public highway, where road tax etc would come into play too.
Is this an effort to evade rfl ?? 🤔
Management need to look closer at this legality, as an accident involving the public or even one of their own employees out there, could have very serious consequences for them.
A fleet number on the side is no good if they are going away from you.
Did you give him a key ring?
IT TAKES ABOUT A HUNDRED YEARS TO GROW A DECENT TREE AND 4 TO 5 MINS TO CUT ONE DOWN HOW IS THAT SUSTAINABLE
A number plate for a "Works Truck" is NOT a legal requirement.
It was shown at the begining and the end.
Only if it never leaves the business premises.... Of it enters public roads it needs tax, insurance and a registration plate and be registered with DVLA.
@@TreeRatChaser Vehicles used for short journeys between different parts of person’s land
21Where an applicant for a vehicle licence for a vehicle satisfies the Secretary of State that the vehicle is intended to be used on public roads-
(a)only in passing from land in his occupation to other land in his occupation, and
(b)for distances not exceeding an aggregate of six miles in any calendar week, the Secretary of State may, with the consent of the Treasury, declare that the vehicle is an exempt vehicle when it is being used on public roads as mentioned in paragraphs (a) and (b).

@@TomsBack @TomsBack That exemption specifically refers to a licence, i.e. VED, not to the requirement to display a registration mark. The relevant legislation for that re shunters/works trucks is here - www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2001/561/regulation/8

How does having Hazard Lights on 'flashing' make a or any vehicle 'safe' to a pedestrian or another vehicle...? If that was the case then all vehicles on the road (public highway) would have their hazards constantly flashing. If i see a vehicle moving towards me i tend to avoid it regardless & i really dont look to see if the hazards are flashing. Its like when driving down a Motorway or a Trunk road & there is an obvious obstruction ahead & clearly the traffic is slowing down. Most road users observe this & also slow down. But one or two anxious drivers feel the need & necessity to stick their hazards on as if no one has seen the impending obstruction & without the use of the hazards that obstruction would not have been seen. Additionally some drivers 'panic' when 'blues & twos' are in the vicinity & they 'panic' & do some eratic manoeuvre because of flasing blue lights. Driving with hazards on a moving vehicle doesnt make that moving vehicle any safer due to the fact that it is moving. Hazards should only be on when vehicle is stationary & maybe a door is inadvertently opened or some object is moved into or out of said stationary vehicle. Best practice would see a man with a flag (red or amber perhaps) walking in front of moving vehicle. Maybe that could be a job detail of the low paid (NLW £11.44) Security on site to do. Safer for all than hazards.
Does anyone know if this place use to be called Stanton’s Timber?
It's most famously known as Finnforest, but I believe once upon a time ago, many moons before I worked here, it may have been called Stanton's.

Private or public roads. Surely Vehicles need a registration insurance and road worthy test. We are obsessed with Health and Safety. Maybe DJAUDITS it’s a new Company Policy Law
@YouAreMuppet surely a company would make sure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe for the employees and visiting public. If it ran over my dog who would pay the vet Bills 🤡
@YouAreMuppet but they were on a public road
