Matts not going to be able to say he massively overspent on this one 😂. Tight git. 😂😉
I dont know yano! We've still got a lot to spend 😂
You guys have certainly got a lot of work coming your way with this one. I bet Matt has the new number plates ready already... good job guys..
Ha ha youre probably right, we'll leave that job for him then 😉 😜
Rust repair on UK 4x4's - Been there - done that, - and got the T-Shirt...but on the bright side - this old RR is going to be a cracker and worth a small fortune when done...and you've saved another big old girl from the scrappy... Keep up the good work lads and have a great week ahead
Whats the t-shirt like? Ha ha itchy? 😂 we all need to do our bit and save as many classic cars as we can dont we?! Nice one mate, we appreciate that, and you too!
No great surprise over the condition of the rear axle, however you have nailed it with the refurbishment of that secondhand axle from the breakers yard, saving a lot of money in the process. The weld patch looked to be very tidy as well. Impressive work, I would run away from such a challenge.
Thanks bud! We really appreciate these comments, I still want to run away ha ha the front drivers corner is horrible but you'll see that soon
Can’t wait for part 3.
It's out now mate, check it out 😉
Starting to take shape, looking forward to seeing the finished product!
Good work guys 👍
It's looking a whole lot better than it started like ha ha 😂 thanks mate
You are doing an incredible job! Looking forward to seeing this eventually running! Good health to you both!
Thanks man! I'm looking forward to that first fire up! We just need the fuel lines really
Lads, greats to see you back and have not heard anything for a long time from you.
My good God, he really has given you a challenge, as it would be much easier to go to the crusher.. keep up the content and look forward to seeing more soon. Great channel, great work...🌞🌞 Lovely to see somebody who takes pride in what they do..👍👍
Thats mad we put a video out every week, if you're subscribed just check you still are, I heard on another channel people were being unsubscribed without them knowing. It definitely is a challenge ha ha thank you for the lovely compliment mate we truly appreciate that! 👍 ans thank you for watchin
6:00 Big Clive would say: Excellent!
I’ve never touched a welding machine but my God 😱
Shocking that isn't it? Ha ha 😂
Nice one, enjoyed watching )))
Nice one mate! We appreciate that 👍
Bobs your mothers brother 🤣🤣 love tha!
Haha glad you enjoyed that! Thanks for watching mate 👍
Great work!!! Guys who are good and actually put the effort in and are honest are rare (unfortunately)... These guys are great proper mechanics 👍
Yes man!! That's a lovely comment mate, much appreciated 😉 thanks for watchin 👍
Another amazing video. The Range Rover is slowly being transformotioned. That axle was a state. I've never used any welder but I'm sure I could have done a better job with my eyes shut. It looks like someone's been sick on the axle and then let it dry. The refurbishment of the new one was amazing. Can't wait for the next instalment
Thank you mate, we appreciate that 👍 I reckon my 3 year old could do better than who ever welded that axel 🤣 I'm glad you're liking the build and thanks for watching 👀
what a great job you did on that Axle it looks amazing
Thank you! I cant wait till the whole underside looks like that ha ha 😂
excellent job lads brings back memories i don't miss doing that work some people don't realise the work involved
Good or bad memories?? Ha ha its a graft isn't it mate?! Yeah we've put many hours in up to now and it's not even a quarter done yet
Love watching your channel lads doing a great job with a bit of funny banter.
Nice one mate, im glad you like it, a bit of light hearted fun while doing what we love.....thats the dream
Really interesting to see how you are trying to save what looks like a heap of scrap metal lads! Great job, looking forward to the next instalment 👊🏻👍🏻
Id rather keep these old beasts on the road, in a few years to come they'll be few and far between, thanks mate we appreciate that 👍
Taking real shape this 👍🏻
We can a little bit of progress now 😉
Glad I found you two guys, great videos. I’m surprised you took on the Range Rover, but you are making a cracking job of it, even though Matt does not want to spend money on it. I’m looking to do the same to a Range Rover classic, so the video is just great and on point. Keep up the great work. Love the new word I’ve learned from you. “Baz it off”. Never heard of it before. Great work ethics!! 👍👌
Thanks mate! Yeah I'm suprised we did too ha ha he'll put his hand in his pocket when he needs to 🤣 have you got one or looking to buy one? Make sure you buy a bazzing tool if you do get one ha ha thanks for watching 😉
Bit of hard work going into this, keep it up and you'll soon have it done, it's going quicker than I thought it would, and a fair bit of it is in better condition than I thought as well.
Nice one mate, there's been a few hours spent on this already ha ha yeah it has got some good sections like, wait till you see underneath the drivers footwell tho 🤮
Hi boys
I’m no mechanic but I love your videos pure entertainment..!
Respect 👍
Nice one man! We try and keep it as real as possible, that means a lot to us 😉👍
Just got in the digs been cold and rained on all day but this just chilled me right out 👌 mint work underneath there looks million times better
Youre a charmer you mate ha ha thanks, we appreciate all your messages yano! Now get yourself a hot bath and chill 😎
Amazing work thus far. Can't wait to see what this project ends up looking like. Already the difference is short of miraculous! 👍
Thank you very much! There is a major improvement already isnt there! The worst section is yet to come 🤮
Brilliant job again, that new tool should be called Bazza.
We shall name it "SIR BAZZALOT" ha ha 😂 thanks mate we appreciate that 👍
Came from Matt’s channel, think you’s are mad for putting yourselves through this, brilliant to watch tho, subbed an will binge your other content now haha, nice one lads 👍🏼
Nice one man! I think we are mad yano! Ha ha I take it by the name you're a blue nose? Ha ha we thought anyone that was going to follow us from matts channel would have jumped over by now, do you not come on RUclips much or did you just see somthing on matts channel? Thanks for subbing mate we appreciate that and hope you like the content 👍
Yeah I’m a blue unfortunately 🫣. First time I’d heard him mention you’s was a video the other week where he’s showing the cars he has currently and he talked about that battered range rover haha.
So far watched your Scirocco build, both range rover ones, BMW & the van.
Love watching them, even tho I have no clue what you’s are doing half the time like as I can’t even change a wiper blade myself 😂
Well hopefully you'll learn some new tricks to impress the missus or family ha ha 😂 I think that's most of our videos apart from the merc isn't it? ha ha im glad you found us mate, share with anyone you'd think would like the channel too 😀
Love the classic rr's, and loving your content lads. Just subscribed to the channel. Looking forward to the next instalment 👍👍
Thanks mate that means a lot to us! The more the merrier ha ha 😂
Terrific work on that axle it looks like new you did well there, underneath looks good what a difference from how it was fantastic progress again 👍👌Range Rover is being transformed look forward to the next instalment
Thanks man! Hopefully we'll get it running soon too! 🙏 😁
@@TransformotionVR 👍look forward to that one I’m sure you’ll get it up and running with a few problems along the way but you’ll sort it out
It's never plain sailing, but we'll get there eventually ha ha 😂
@@TransformotionVR you’ll get it up and running 😉👍
Matt really loves his cars and keeping you both busy 😂 Oh someone took the piss with that welded part, it looked like it was melting lol 🤣🤣 The result is decent - as usual 🥰 I wonder how many more cars Matt has hidden all over Stockport for you to fix 😂
I've melted metal with oxy-acetilin neater than that ha ha 😂 I hope it's the only the 1 in that condition 🤮 ha ha
@@TransformotionVR You love it really 😂
Ha ha 😂😂😂
Nice one, enjoyed watching your handy work in this one.
Nice one mate! We appreciate that 👍
Great work lads!
Thanks mate we really appreciate that 👍
awesome video boys - Matt is going to enjoy this when you have finished
Thanks mate, I hope he does ha ha 😂
It’s starting to look better
It definitely is Alex 😉 I cant wait till the front half looks the same ha ha
Cracking job so far. 👍
Nice one mate, we appreciate that 👍
Good job guys looking forward to the next update 👍
Thank you mate, glad you're enjoying it! 😉
@@TransformotionVR I really think this is going to turn out well considering what state you got it in great content and well explained nice one guys 👍
I hope so! Ha ha, thank you! That means a lot to us 😉 hopefully it'll be running soon
Looking great lads
Nice one mate, it's coming along now
Amazing work again guys. Saved plenty of cash with the second-hand axle, that was a good find.
Looking forward to the next one! 😎
Nice one mate, it was a lucky find as he didn't have it advertised but had somthing else listed that we needed, got speaking to him and ended up with a load of parts including the axel 😉
It's some workload but it well be worth it, great job so far 👍
Thanks Trish 👍 we appreciate that 😉
Looking good guys the transformotion is astounding wasnt there a clinic that did remodelling jobs? Soon you'll be opening a garage on harley street!!
Ha ha 😂 we'll be doing designer cars down there 🤣 thanks mate
You’re doing well reviving that basket case 😂
Ha ha thanks mate, she'll look good when finished
I love that descaler tool. It's too good for girls. Proper mans stuff. The welder? Is he a part time vicar or what? More tea? It's really coming on. I can't wait for the next episode, but I suppose I'll have to.
Is Matt selling his dream car to fund this Range Rover?
Hahaha thank you for the message mate 🤣 glad to hear you’re enjoying the content. And I’m not sure what Matts reasons are for selling his dream car, but I’m sure it has nothing to do with this rusty Range Rover! 🤣
Amazing work by you guys, and when the project is finished that car is going to turn heads big time.
Thanks mate, let's hope so!
Hopefully one day someone will invent spring compressors.
I sense a bit of sarcasm there ha ha we've got a big one that bolts to the floor 😄
Amazing transformation in this video. I really admire your work, and your persistence guys!
Thanks mate, we really appreciate that, as you can tell we don't like to be defeated by anything ha ha 😀
You guys are brilliant you really know your stuff what a difference starting to look ace❤ another car still on the road that deserves to be
Thank you very much mate! We really appreciate these nice comments, we should all save at least one classic car each ha ha 😂
Best video yet
Thanks mate, we appreciate that 👍
Bloody awesome
Thanks man! 🫶
She's really starting to come together now lads but, I couldn't believe the state of that back axle. Hopefully a lot of the stuff you learn from this old girl will help you when it comes to working on Liam's Range Rover (although thankfully it's in a lot better nick).👍
Ha ha let's hope his isn't anything like that, yeah we was debating on repairing it but the more we looked the more we found wrong with it, luckily we found another not too far away and cheap too
I wonder how much would actually cost to make this car showroom worthy and if it would make any financial sense. Anyway, great job and I hardly wait to see it done!
Id imagine it's be £30k plus and no I don't think that would make any financial sense, thank you that means a lot!
Used these rust descalers loads offshore and they were known as 'Needle Guns'
I knew they had a more common name but couldn't think of it, thanks mate 👍
Top work.
Nice one mate! We appreciate that 👍
I always knew a hot spanner would be required at some point!!
Ha ha 😂 yeah it's been needed quite a few times already up to now
Great job. What was the stone guard stuff you applied? Not seen that before- like an aerosol can connected to an airline?
Thanks, its a stonechip gun, it runs off compressed air, not like an aerosol where it only has the gas in the can, they spray much better for the underside of a vehicle
Great work again guys , only thing is I'm gonna have to buy a BAZZING air tool now ! 😀
Mate....its mustard! Ha ha its saved hours of work, im glad we've bought one. Even for rusty bolt heads when the spanner won't go on, get one mate!
Great work Fellas 😊
Thanks mate, we really appreciate that 👍
I owned a petrol 3.9 RR back in the 90s .......quite a reliable vehicle but had a dreadful mpg ....18 on a good day .
18mpg downhill ha ha I thought with somthing like this itd be worked out in LPG (Lampost per gallon) 🤣🤣🤣
new axel? think you need to look at YRM metal solutions for spring mounts etc
The new axel was a quicker option for us, we'd have spent more on all the brackets we needed for it too
I’m sure a good buff is all it needs 😂
Ha ha I wish 😉
Looks a damn site better under there now!
Your graft is paying off gents.
Thanks man! It sure is!!
It’s called a needle gun, used to use them on shipyard.
Nice one mate, they're a brilliant tool! This is the first one we've owned, and it's just an amazon special, id imagine a good make one is even better
Yet another great instalment. Nice use of ppe ( mask and put ur hood up)😂😂 .
Ha ha great combo that isn't it, I do that when welding to stop getting burns on my head ha ha I cant afford to loose anymore hair 😂😂
Not long now until the first ride out :)
Ha ha thats quite optimistic 😄 it won't be long till its running like 😉
I love how nothing fazes you guys.
Thanks mate! We try and not let anything defeat us 👍
Some of the worst welding I've seen on the old axle 😮
Ha ha ive melted steel with burning gear that looks better than that ha ha 😂
What’s the lift you’ve got , good content, good luck
automotechservices.co.uk/products/as-7230a-scissor-lift/
I think its these, thanks mate, that means a lot
14:19 Is this a special new technique? 😝
Ha ha yeah, have you never tried it? 🤣 I knocked the pot over and wasn't wasting it ha ha
Epic series! I've noticed that there's no subtitles anymore - are people understanding you guys more or are you putting-on an English accent? 🤣🤣
As always, top viewing! Keep up the great work! 🖖
Ha ha im not sure on that one, maybe all the people who couldn't understand us have picked up the accent or left?? Ha ha thank you again bud! We appreciate all your comments
A shock absorber does not return when pressed one way they damp both ways i.e. up and down.
Some do but not all, ive just fitted one to a bmw e46 and that came with a plastic band round it, when removed it started to rise untill it hit the top (full expansion)
Nice boys
Nice one man! 👍
Looking good 🍻😎
Thanks mate 👍
Nice 👍
Thanks mate 👍
that's got to be the worst welding i've ever seen!!!
Which bit?? 🤔
Might it have been better to sell it for scrap.
Just a thought
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, matt wants it back on the road tho and is paying so on the road it shall go 😉
great job lads lot ov shit and grime uve shifted not easy well done keep at it ul get there
Thanks mate, I can't wait till the underside is done tho ha ha
What is the name of that rust eater? (I'm not native and the dialect is killing me!)
We've used two now, id recomend the hamorite curust, although a guy that restores cars said get jenolite rust remover but that wasn't in any of our local shops
Someone genuinely looked at that weld job and thought "Yeah, I'm happy with that..." I'm no welder (And am well aware I'm no welder!) but even I can look at that job and see it's a bag of sh*te.
Some of the previous welds we shocking, wait till we get to the front drivers footwell 🤮 im not looking forward to that bit
Subtitles?
I thought everyone could understand us these days? Ha ha 😂
I can understand you when you're doing a piece to camera, I can understand you when you're talking to Matt, but when you're chatting to each other in the workshop it's like fluent Swahili. @@TransformotionVR
Ha ha 😂 🤣 sorry mate, we'll try and bare that in mind 😉
Sound was atrocious. Gave op Sorry
Sorry to hear that mate
