I did see the Trailer when i was young. Sadly haven’t seen the Full movie. But i won’t forget that the trailer for this film became my Introduction to Mr. Robin Williams.
Still miss him till this day.

I have this movie and I still love it. I would rather watch it than many of Disney's live action remakes today, even though this one is also a remake, but it is entertaining at best.

Great fun movie with Robin Williams giving one of his best performances! RIP to the man and my favorite of his is Mrs Doubtfire but this one definitely ranks high on my list of Robin Williams movies.

Yeah me too I miss Robin Williams RIP. I love the moments where Weebo flips up her screen showing a part from a movie or TV show that relates to a particular situation that happens. It's sad when one of the bad guys smash her with a baseball bat and kill her. Robin did make a new one with a red color but the one that we had through the movie was better.

You know, there was a time where you couldn't turn a corner about seeing Robin Williams in a family movie, and I enjoyed his stints in the likes of: "Aladdin", "Jumanji", and "Hook". So I definitely had interest in seeing this remake of The Absent Minded Professor. I really liked it back then, but overtime, I've come to realize that it's nothing more but a lazy bit of slapstick that John Hughes was continuingly spewing out at that time.
I'll give it credit, the computer effects on the flubber are pretty impressive by 1997 standards, but the screenplay throws a lot of family film cliches at the table in hopes that the audience will laugh. Well... I definitely did when I was a kid. But as a 26 going on 27 year old man, my reaction is simply... "eh".

5:00 WHOA! I never knew he had a hand in writing this film I bet it was just for a paycheck?
8:03 That's crazy but not as crazy as that female gorilla that tried to seduce Robin from what the story he told in his One Man Show stand up special he did for HBO in 2002 LOL!
    19:39 Exactly bro 🤣🤣
26:38 I just seen that scene there's got to be a funny behind the scene story to that weather being from Ted,Clancy or Chris McDononald? I believe in that same scene you could see in the background Will Weaton almost loosing it as well? LOL!
Another great job on the review I actually never got around to ever watching this film the trailers and tv spots at the time I was like ''NAH!!'' this is just too silly for me'' but one day I'll give this one a watch bro?

Me too. RIP Robin Williams. Not sure but I believe the original plan was for Weebo to be voiced by a man.

Yeah he's always a love to hate type of character. After this movie he played Ward Cleaver in Leave to Beaver and it was nice to see him atleast one time in a non jerk role. It wasn't hard for me to see him playing a father and he nailed it in that movie.

Great fun movie. RIP Robin Williams. It's sad when Buffalo Bill smashes Weebo with a baseball bat and kills her later in the movie. That POS.

Nice. This is better than Patch Adams. Also the villain of Happy Gilmore plays another villain in this one a year later. I'd rather watch this over Eddie Murphy's Nutty Professor and Dr. Dolittle flicks.

Ted Levine would've been dead in real life after getting hit directly in the face with the bowling ball. Just like Daniel Stern would've been dead in real life after getting clobbered even after getting hit with the first brick in Home Alone 2.

Never cared for this one even as a kid I found it bland. I actually watched this in theaters as a kid because it starred Robin and had a neat looking special efdect green blob. I found the story in this bland I wanted more actual focus on Flubber himself instead it was more about the bad guy trying to steal the professors secrets I was always bored with this movie. It's not the worst thing ever its just more one of those bland meh 90s Disney flicks. The robot being in love with the professor felt like a random more adult plot thrown into this silly movie. The robot love story felt out of place and could have been its own more Adult family movie for all ages and honestly would have been more interesting and sweet then the actual plot this movie had.

12:03 that’s why I can’t get into this film. Maybe if I was a 6 or 8 year old I would probably enjoy it but as a 19 year old, this just wasn’t for me, I’m too old for this crap. I just found it very cliche and predictable to where I found it very bland.
21:30 me neither to me that’s the worst scene of the movie. Just found it more cringe than funny
I would rather watch Jumanji or Hook, Robin has done much better movies than this one!
