I have been a huge fan of Fast & Furious films years. One of them is my favorite is Fast & Furious 7, but 8th was underrated. I felt like I want give up these movies. They should have ended long ago after Paul Walker passed on.
I agree even though I did like 8, Hobbs and Shaw was okay and F9 was shit like Part 4 was but Furious 7’s Ending felt like the true ending of this franchise and I would have been find if they ended on 7. This franchise just needs to stop someone like Vin Diesel or someone else who’s working for these movies should realize that franchise has gone long enough at least other franchises like Rambo or Die Hard knew when to stop well sorta because A Good Day To Die Hard and Rambo: Last Blood happened and they were shit but at least those two franchises didn’t have 9 or 10 movies and they knew when to stop
Great rant Matt it seems they want to get Eva mendes back and even Gail Gadot and Michael Caine to be Helen mirren,s husband It's Seems that they couldn't afford to keep Cardi B so that's why her and the female team disappear so quickly but yes this movie Pretty much was made for the Chinese market in the same way fast 7 was for the Middle East
Pretty obvious with this new movie that they also plan to do a prequel in the future On the flashbacks they also show Letty, Mia, Jesse & Vince as youngsters
Should have ended after furious 7 I just want the franchise to die already but Vin Diesel just needs that big paycheck everyone knows and stand alone movie he does is shit that’s why he keeps retuning to these fast movies
Sadly a 10th and a 11th movie is happening and also a Hobbs and Shaw sequel but that one sounds a but Interesting but this franchise should have ended years ago just because these movies keep making more money doesn’t mean we need more but apparently that’s what Hollywood only cares about sadly someone like Vin Diesel or someone else who is involved with these movies should realize that this franchise needs to end like how Sylvester Stallone wanted to end the Rambo franchise with Rambo (2008) and he did so well until Last Blood but that doesn’t exists but the point is when a franchise gives us a wonderful ending like Furious 7 just need there it felt like a ending to the franchise and when a franchise goes on for long you get tired of it I wish someone at Hollywood would realize that this franchise going long enough and it’s getting milked and needs to end
Fantastic new rant film review, of Fast & the Furious 9. Matt. I have seen all previous eight films in this franchise, and to be honest I only liked part 5 & 8. I think Death Race 2 & 3 & 6 Underground are far better films then the rest of the Fast & the Furious films combined. I'm not bothered about watching this one.
Man, I haven’t watched since fast 4. Watched Tokyo Drift last month and it’s probably better than any of these new ones past fast 5. I just gave up on these movies, too many kept being made and stopped caring
I liked Fast Five, Fast And The Furious 1, Fast And The Furious 7 and Tokyo Drift, though. There are plans for an all female Fast & The Furious spin off. I liked Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham characters the best in the Fast & Furious franchise. Paul Walker is missed.
I'm a big Fast and Furious fan but the trailers for this one didn't impress me. 7 is actually my favourite in the franchise but I agree that 8 was underrated.
I’m like the biggest fast and furious fan and even I couldn’t defend this movie, it was underwhelming. The way they explain Han being alive makes no sense.
I'm just going to say that Han ejected from the car at some point during the chase and Mr. Nobody took over using some projection/hologram of Han (explaining why Han disappears so quickly from the car). I think Mr. Nobody can do stuff like that with his sunglasses. Those sunglasses have night vision in them. So they must have other uses/functions. And if I remember the scene correctly, Mr. Nobody takes the glasses off after the car Han is in blows up. So if I'm correct, then maybe his glasses allow him to create holograms/projections.
I can't believe The Fast and the Furious is been around for 20 years and it's 9 films already. It needs to end once and for all. It has long, overstayed it's welcome. And since Furious 7, I'm getting really tired of the films. I love the first film, I don't mind Tokyo Drift (which is actually the 6th film), Fast 5 (aka Fast 4), Furious 6 (aka Furious 5), and I find Fast & Furious (the actual third film) meh. 7, 8 and 9, those I don't care for.
I enjoy these movies a lot, but I felt that this was one of the weaker ones. I can't defend it, but I can't hate it, either. One of the things that annoyed me was the explanation of Han being alive.
I honestly would find it hilarious that Fast 10 is going to end have the characters run from a nuclear disaster which destroys Earth and they survive without any scratch or bruises. They get into space without where they survive and have a barbecue and forget about the end of the earth which billions of people died.
This movie is called F9, Brock Lesnar has a move called the F5, and since this movie has John Cena in it give it the STFU 😂 But I watched this movie a while ago. It was decent. I mean it's a F&F movie not Citizen Kane. And of course they go into space like everybody predicted. And since these are both released thru Universal, I wouldn't be surprised if they did a Fast & Furious/ Jurassic World crossover.
I really hope they stop at 11. Not because I'm getting tired of them. They just need to end the narrative. Plus all good things must come to an end. I never wanted Sons Of Anarchy to end (for example), but the narrative did need to eventually end for the show instead of it dragging on. They actually should've ended the Fast & Furious narrative with the 6th movie. Perfect spot to wrap up things. Everything was wrapped up nicely too by the end of 6 (if you don't count the scene during the credits that revealed Statham killed Han). Everyone was allowed back into the U.S. and had their records cleared and stuff. Plus we saw what led to Han going to Tokyo. And 6 did have a final movie feel to it. Plus it was the end of a trilogy (Fast & Furious 4, 5, and 6). They should've ended the movies there. It was the perfect spot to end things in a narrative way. But hopefully 11 is the final movie. I would watch Fast & Furious 50 though, but the narrative does have to eventually end. I would like to have a beginning, middle, and end to the Fast & Furious movies. Not just a beginning and middle.
I have honestly have seen the first two films & parts of Fast Five I'm behind on this franchise. But it's gone too far and way over the top. Not Sly's Over The Top that's a classic but ridiculous. 29:10 Lol wtf kind of dialogue is that? This franchise needs to end now. Entertaining rant!
Shaw really tried to kill Han because of what happened in 6 but Mr. Nobody used it as cover so Han could fake his death. Apparently Han in the car was a Hologram because the shot of Shaw walking away from the car after dropping the necklace shows that Han wasn’t in the car anymore before it exploded.
The movie never mentions a 'hologram'. How would Mr. Nobody know that Statham would have hit Han at that exact moment? Just by chance they knew 'just drive on this road and fingers crossed, he'll hit you'...it's all completely stupid. And Who was driving the car, by itself? Remote Control? Again, it's all dumb because they are pulling all of this out of their bung-hole.
@@ramboraph4life plus in Tokyo Drift, DK busts in on Han and accuses him of stealing, and thats how the chase starts with Shaw being worked in. This movie near put me in a coma,
@@ramboraph4life The most the movie mentioned was a "magic trick" and a blink and you miss it shot of Han disappearing before it explodes. The retconning of Han's death AGAIN was one of the biggest issues I had with this movie and it demonstrated how pointless it was to have 4-6 take place before Tokyo Drift. Fate of the Furious screwed everything up IMO.
I agree, I wasn't a fan of this movie either. If you want to see a dumb action movie done right watch The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard. That is a dumb action movie which is actually fun.
Fast and Furious: A Franchise That Just Needs To Be Stopped! that is how I describe this franchise nowadays this was definitely a shitty movie this is honestly the second worst of the franchise after Part 4 and yes I rather watch Part 8 (Which I liked) and Tokyo Drift over this piece of shit any day it’s was so unneeded, so boring and so uninteresting even for a dumb movie this was going too far I completely agree with you Matt. I just wish Vin Diesel would finally realize that this franchise has gone long enough and he needs to let it go but sadly that will never happen since this is his only franchise he wants to do more because the xXx and Riddick franchise doesn’t do well and doesn’t make lots of money and I wish he would pick better choices for movies I want to see more Vin Diesel movies that is NOT Fast and Furious I do believe he’s a good actor but his choices is lackluster for movies sadly this franchise will never end maybe someday but I doubt that I bet there’s gonna be 20 movies of this franchise LOL. Again F9 was a piece of shit and wasn’t needed at all and again this franchise needs to end let it go Vin Diesel do more movies projects that isn’t Fast Movies!!!
Yeah I'm only into these current ones for the dumb fun, I love escapism like this, going to space finally and Cena being Vin's brother even though he's got a full head of hair lmao
No, it should’ve ended at 6. Everything felt wrapped up by the end of 6. And 6 had a final movie feel to it. Of course, they had to ruin that with a scene during the credits that revealed that Statham killed Han. But 6 was the perfect way to end the movies. Not 7. With Statham surviving at the end of 7, it just screamed more movies were coming, although I figured that because Statham survived, they’d find a way to turn him good in 8 and that he wouldn’t escape and try to pick up where he left off. Another bad guy would pop up and Statham would have to team up with Dom and the others. And I was pretty much correct.
I’ll see this when it comes out on blu-ray but I’m not really looking forward to it. It’s a shame, I was a fan of these movies. Fast 5 is actually one of my favorite action movies of all time. In my opinion that movie had the best action in the franchise because it was just over the top enough. Plus that movie had actual stakes and natural plot momentum. The character moments were well done too. I liked Fast 6 and 7 too but they started to lose me with 8. Paul Walker’s send off at the end of 7 would have been a perfect place to end the franchise but it’s too popular to cancel. Fast 9 looks to have really jumped the shark. The appeal of these movies to me was never the especially ridiculous physics-defying scenes. Those scenes made me roll my eyes but I was able to look past them. This movie looks to be made up of nothing but those scenes.
You know fast 9 stole the armored train truck scene from Deadpool 2 and the copied the dark knight rises when vin diesel gets his ass kicked and Michelle Rodriguez watched in a locked cage
A wonderful job on the rant bro I stop giving a fuck about these after "Fast Five" to me my favorite plus had a perfect ending for all the characters part 6,7,8 a lackluster spinoff that's a wannabe "Tango&Cash" remake at least to me started going downhill and when I seen trailers to this latest sequel it looked munch more worst if not the same as the 4th fucking film IMHO. #LETTHESEFLIMSDIE#
Another bad Fast movie...there's no surprise here. None of them were any good. Even the first with it's obvious blue screen chase scenes. Green screen use for certain shots in older car chases (or the mine car chase in TOD) look way more real. And I still can't understand a goddamn word Vin is saying. Him and Jason Statham need to learn how to talk.
For the first time since fast 4 in 2009, I don’t care for a fast and furious movie. I just don’t like the direction this franchise is going with the story here. This Dom’s brother thing I can’t get behind. This franchise as silly and over the top as it is has finally lost me here. Maybe fast 10 will pull me back in with a better story. 😂
Fuss and the furious 9 it was okay, but John Cena is a really good actor, but I cannot see him as the villain they should’ve put someone else as a villain. Someone like Danny Trail or Jean-Claude Van Damme as a villain. The movie will look much better and more Street racing. The people were missing in this movie were Dwayne, Johnson and Jason Stephan those people were the funniest in the movie and what I liked about in fast and furious, nine, it links up to Tokyo drift but this movie it’s okay
This was so disappointing, easily the weakest film in the franchise but it's not the worst, it's a fine time waster and I do put this one up over Fast & Furious 4,6,8, Hobbs & Shaw but compared to the first three, Fast Five, Furious 7 it's nowhere close in comparison, I hate how this one and 8 unravel the events of the 7th film even more and made Jason Statham character even more of a less deadly incompetent threat than he was, Hate Cardi B and her trash music and fuck her cameo, Brian staying home and taking care of Dom baby was a even more of a slap in the face to Paul in spirit than what the 8 film did by having Dom name his baby after his character, Han return is contrived bs, He didn't need to come back at all, they didn't even do a twist where he is the mastermind behind the plan to acquire the Ares device to destroy the world with Charlize Theron so wtf was the point ? You can bring back a character for fans if you gonna do something interesting but here they didn't do nothing with Han at all other than he's back and was working with Mr. Nobody to keep the Ares device thing and Asian girl safe from John Cena, wooptie fucking doo, I agree they should have ended it already but they should have ended it with 8 with the return of Shaw family as antagonist once more back for revenge, Overall F9 is not a film I would ever bother to watch again unless I catch it on tv unlike the previous films, The film doesn't have alot to offer and it drags way too much, It's the slowest paced film in the series thankfully it didn't put me to sleep like Fast 8 did, Justin Lin directing was sloppy, lazy and lacked his style and I don't know wtf happen there maybe because he haven't direct a Fast film in a long time since 2012 with Fast 6 and he gotten a little rusty or it was because Vin Diesel wants everything his way or the highway, Whatever it may be I just hope his directing gets better when he goes on to direct F10 & 11, John Cena may not be much of a solid actor as the Rock but at least he isn't egotistical like The Rock that tried to hijack a franchise that's not his, I'm happy the Rock gone, He may have catapulted the franchise back then from the shitter it was in at the box office but he need to know his place just because you came into the franchise and brought new energy, new soul doesn't mean you can just claim the franchise and bully the original cast members who started the series to do what you want best and demand the studio for spin off films to be greenlit without any consent from the original cast members, That is like me come onto your channel as a co-host and try to tell you how to do your videos and make your channel mine, The Rock got way too carried away for his own good and I'm glad Hobbs & Shaw turned out to be total ass, all that shit he did wasn't worth it at the end of the day he should have just stayed on track with Vin and the gang, There was no reason for him to do that when the franchise was on track making huge truckload of cash, He came out looking like a complete fool, more of a fool than Fruity Pebbles John Cena in all shit he does, and he knows it that is why he won't be returning for F10 & 11 and went to do shit like Jungle Cruise and superhero films like Black Adam, He thought Fast & Furious was all about him when it never was, Cena character joining the family was obvious and I was still holding out on a slimmer of hope that they wouldn't do it which they still did which made me facepalm which in a way wouldn't bother me that much if they at least made him been more of a threat than he was throughout the film before it got up to that point, he was very underused compared to The Rock in Fast Five and the setup and motivation behind the conflict between him and Dom makes both of them look like idiots and the payoff to that was weak and it makes the whole 1st and second half where nothing happens much except flashbacks of their past dedicated to that felt completely worthless and very frustrating to me, I don't mind seeing how Dom father dies visually and how it was tied with him and his brother deal but it amounted to nothing just one little milk toast scuffle in a building then a little chase in some European location in the second act and that's it, This storyline while generic it was poorly mishandled in the lamest lazy way possible, it felt like an afterthought than what they've been marketing it up to be, this story should have been split into two parts and be the primary focus, Cena should have stayed as the last primary antagonist with Charlize Theron instead and they should have just made F9 & F10 as a two part finale, we don't need 11 of these films, Vin Diesel say that this one is the beginning to the final chapter but it isn't because there will be two more installments after it, F10 is not the last, F10 is the real beginning to the final chapter not F9 so who is he trying to fool ? I guess himself, F9 just felt like a wasted installment it doesn't do nothing to push the series further in terms of story, stakes and tone just like John Wick Chapter 3 other than be a commercial for the next one, I thought from the very first teaser that was released before the first trailer last year (The one where Letty tells little Brian to prepare yourself for what's coming as you see Dom in his garage clutching onto his cross necklace while pondering about something in fear and sadness with some sad melodramatic piano music in the background) that it was at least going in that direction but it didn't, even the action despite how ludicrous it is still felt weak, Half the time I forgot I was watching a Fast movie, It was just a cash grab and that is a shame.
Ha ha yeah I'm not surprised this was a rant. Thankfully if it makes you any better they only have two movies left for the main series aside from the spin-offs.
i remember joking in the past, i think with 8 that they're going to go to space...and they did in this one lol i found the movie entertaining but of course had to turn off the brain and not think too serious into the bs physics...but i liked it more than 8, they still gonna keep going as long as they bank, the rock wasn't a bad guy, concerning the kurt russell question, damm, lol i dont know, i dont remember what they did with that...and good point on gadot...given shes become a big star due to wonder woman, yup, u hit it, i can them bringing her back to life lol
In my opinion Brandon Lee should be the lead in 12 Rounds if he was alive that would be great Didn’t mind the villain Aidan Gillen but James Woods would be even better villain or Gerald Butler as villain too ;) Ps. F This buuuuullshit
This is worse than 4. The writers of these films should be working for SYFY channel. The timeline is a serious mess and they keep coming up with more bullshit like hologram Han and Dom having a white brother lol. He's gonna go running back to Riddick again if he can find more funding lol. People laugh at Sly and Arnold for still playing Rambo, Rocky and Terminator but at least they have other projects to fall back on.
@@n.b.l.5709 he's playing Latino in the fast movies though not his real life black/Italian heritage. I think they should've just had Cena be one of Dom's old school friends who he considered a brother.
I thought this was alright, bad movie b movie entertainment film. But this series could have just stopped at 7 the problem with the franchise is what happens to all franchises they have reached burn out it happens to all movie franchises. They can still rebound from this one with the next one, but it's going to be hard. Vin Diesel is going to be in Avatar 2, so that's good for him, lol. Far as John Cena goes I liked him in Transformers thought he was fine in that however haven't cared for him in anything else. With that said I have nothing personal against him and think he could have worked here under better direction most of these big muscle guys arent good actors least not most of the time so I could have forgiven that if he was allowed to do something fun but the movie never really did anything with him. All of these movies have been good budget B movies with silly plots for me the difference here is this series has just worn out its welcome even with dumb silly B movies you need something to get you to care about the characters this movie's story feels hollow and that's what kills it when you make it to a part 9 and you don't have anything interesting plot-wise it gets bland.
Fast and furious franchise died when paul walker died they should of stop with fast 7,fast 8 sucked vin disel being a bad guy does not make anysense, john cena being vin brother does not anysense they run out of ideas, the john cena and vin diesel was not good this movie was very weak and confusing
I'm so sick and tired of these movies they should have ended it a long time ago and the fact that 2 more are coming out is redicoulous already stop making these movies already
The next Fast movie will have UFO vehicles... Lol. Anyway, all I saw was the first movie and a second or so of the second. I saw no other Fast film and I have absolutely no desire to do so. Plus John Cena is way overrated. He is a woman!
A lame and disappointing sequel and damn has this franchise went downhill since Fast and Furious 6 IMO. Fast and Furious is still the worst film in the franchise for me, but this was barely above it and I'd even put 2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift above this.
i luv this movie i know it's stupid but F&F is not a film you take something seriesoly anymore, i luv over top crazy action also i loved 6 underground if anyone hates that movie is idiot 6 underground love that movie so much also i loved Puerto Rican chick in that too love that movie
This movie was too much and too far off the reservation. There is a line of too far, and this film did it. It's the kind of 'Ah, C'mon' crud that just makes a viewer give up and just go "F It". To each their own. On top of that? Characters that are literally going nowhere by this point, lame villains, boring stories that sits there like roadkill (the Cena and vin diesel story-line was a Cure for Insomnia) and...this is way past its' expiration date.
@@ramboraph4life nah i enjoy it for enterment it's not movie you wanna take it completely series anymore i never give up F&F franchise i still love them even i got t-shirts, toy cars, all movies of it as well even i hope to see Hobbs and Shaw 2 and many other franchises i wanna see i hope they can keep up story not to go to over top like F9 i liked F9 nothing to hate about but expect it was too over top when they go space or when they brought back Han i reckon they should not brought back Han at all i like Han nothing against him he dies he dies i reckon they should set up this story Shaw kills Han because Chiper got Statham family as hostage and also his brother died as well so now it's even Dom killed his brother and Shaw killed Han so it's even then Shaw has a reason to kill Han because he is forced to do it to keep his family alive keeping his character scarifying himself to keep his family alive then Dom understands why it was even they should set up that story Han is dead that's it.. but still F9 is still one of my favorite movies in this year i don't really care if it's silly or over top it doesn't make me give up at all i love franchise to death i am part of family lol if you hated it that's fine Matt but you got to point Vin diesel in a different films and just stay away from franchises for awhile real reason why Bloodshot flopped because of COVID-19 cinemas were closed during movie got released i remember seeing it in theater great movie..
rambogra-4life. Why John Cena? The answer is very simple because only he (ex wrestling star!) could replace Dwayne Johnson is that hard to understand brother ???? And yes he isn't as great/funny/entertaining/acting as Dwayne Johnson
"only he (ex wrestling star!) could replace Dwayne Johnson is that hard to understand brother"...first, why does it have to be a wrestler? It doesn't. There's no reason why it needs to be. Second, there are plenty of better action stars let alone actors. Thomas Jane, Karl Urban, Keanu Reeves, Scott adkins...or even Dave Batista. Or don't do the story of 'Dom has a brother out of nowhere that has never been hinted at in the past 8 movies'...and instead create a better story where you can incorporate Michael Jai White or Donnie Yen or any other sort of casting choice.
I skipped this shit and saw Black Widow instead, which I loved because it has better and slicker action than this! This series should've ended after Furious 7!
The movie has good action scenes but overall its a forgettable mess. They retconned alot of shit that makes the previous sequels pointless. Han is only there to be used as an extra driver because Tyrese and ludicrous go to outer space to destroy a satellite, oh God! First Dwayne Johnson fought Dom, now we have John Cena, who's Dom's little brother and they have a fight scene, two wrestlers in one franchise, heh Dave Batista puked when they offered him to be in Fast & Furious. SIGH! Fast & Furious are longer event films smh.
I actually don't mind the ridiculousness of the movie. It's the story/plot though that made me not care about anything in 9. And yes, the previous movies did have interesting plots/stories to keep me interested in stuff going on. There was enough plot/story there. Plus they were easy to follow. 9's was all over the place, especially with all the flashbacks. The movie felt like two movies in one, but in a bad way. None of the previous movies had to rely on flashbacks. Gal Gadot is actually supposed to return for 10 or 11. I saw that coming though once we saw Statham's brother in the hospital at the beginning of 7 and then the brother was moving around and stuff in 8. If he could survive, so could Gal Gadot. I actually like Han, but they didn't need to bring him back. And I have watched Han's death scene in Tokyo Drift plenty of times. Yeah. It's a little ridiculous. Even Statham killing him was a little off. But what I put together using my imagination, Mr. Nobody had Han jump out of the vehicle at some point and then Mr. Nobody controlled the car with a hologram/projection in the shape of Han, which I think Mr. Nobody can do with his sunglasses. And the whole hologram/projection thing explains why in the flashaback of 9, Han disappears suddenly. But there is no way that Han could've escaped that car. With how the car is lying, either Lucas Black/Sean or Statham would have to see him get out or Lucas Black would have to see him run off if Han got out on Statham's side of the car. But I'm going with Han was never in the car and he ejected at some point and Mr. Nobody used a hologram that looked like Han. Statham I think feels bad about Han's death. In Hobbs & Shaw he tells his sister that he's done terrible stuff in the past that he regrets doing, which I'm guessing is killing Han. Oh and you didn't fall asleep at all. All the women disguising themselves as Interpol are never seen again in the movie. The main one is Cardi B. Apparently, she is returning for 10 or 11. But she and the other women in that Interpol vehicle were just in the one scene. Also, I don't think Kurt Russell/Mr. Nobody is dead. He's too resourceful. I think he fled after the crash or ejected from the plane before it crashed and is hiding out somewhere. Maybe even recovering from injuries or in a coma. He'll probably return in 10 or 11 though. But it was never confirmed if he is alive or dead in the actual movie. I saw the movie twice. It's unknown what happened to him, but knowing the character, he is too resourceful to be dead. I also don't consider that going to space. My definition of going to space is EVERYONE is in space and pretty much the whole third act or majority of the movie takes place in space. Going to space and only sending two characters to destroy a satellite doesn't really count as going to space, in my opinion. But we'd need space battles like ones in Star Wars or Star Trek, going to some space station, and/or driving cars on the moon for it to count as going to space or what my definition of "in space" is. But yeah. I didn't have problems with the action scenes. But with an uninteresting plot/story and uninteresting McGuffin that was forgotten about, it made me not care about the action scenes or find them entertaining. I'd say this is the worst Fast & Furious. I'd rank it lower than the fourth movie. I like the revenge plot in the fourth movie, although 5 and 6 pretty much make 4 a waste of time. But at least there is more of an interesting plot/story and McGuffin in 4. 4, I can see me popping in more often. 9, I'll probably just buy on Blu-Ray, watch it one more time to make sure I got a good disc (meaning it doesn't skip or anything), and then let it sit on the shelf and collect dust until I want to do a marathon or prepare for 10 and 11 and refresh my memory before seeing 10 or 11. I only have two positives when it comes to 9. I like when everyone is reunited with Han. I found that pretty emotional. Plus I'm one of those that really likes Han, so it was nice to see everyone reunited again. The other positive is that the movie doesn't ruin 10 and 11 for me. As terrible as 9 was, I still want to see what happens next. I 'm hopeful that maybe 10 and 11 will be better movies. 9 just felt more like a setup movie to 10 and 11. 9 was more like Fast & Furious 8.5 while 10 is the actual true Fast & Furious 9.
@@ramboraph4life what up Matt. I totally agree with you when you say about Vin Diesel career. Maybe he should do Above The Law reboot movie, The Expendables 4, 5, maybe he can play The Punisher in the upcoming The Punisher movie or something. I am not familiar Bloodshot. He should retire from the Fast & Furious films. I also love Tyrese Gibson. He should do romance or drama anything. These Fast & Furious films are wasted of time.
It's crazy to think that the first movie came out 20 years ago and they are still making movies it should have ended when paul walker died
Fast & Furious 11 will either end with all the films being a dream, or the characters discovering theyre characters in a video game.
i really hope that doesn't happen i hopefully ends like happy ending
No that will happen to Fast99
Fast Inception
That’s still more believable than the kid from sling blade building a space ship car for tyrese and ludicrous

They wanna bring back Pual Walker for Fast 10 by using CGI but that's pretty disrespectful in my opinion.
I agree.
Well Paul Walker family getting payed that's a great act
I agree, Now I'm hearing like Matt predicted that they are gonna bring back Gal Gadot Giselle 🤦♂️🙄 Does anybody can stay dead in this series ?
at least in Bloodshot, Vin Diesel wasn't sleepwalking through it
New drinking game every time they say family you take a shot 🥃
Vin Diesel always look like he is sleepwalking in mostly everything he does outside of XXX, Riddick, Pacifier.
Bloodshot wasn't a good movie
It looks like a robocop ripoff
This makes robocop 2014 look like a better movie than this
But I like robocop 2014 more than robocop 3 (1993) because I hate robocop 3
come on bringing back Paul walker is weird idea to make him CGI is weird scary idea
Paul Walker was the best character in the franchise. The franchise should have stopped when he passed away.

@@ramboraph4life lol well I take my hat off sir...
Boy, this was hilarious. I was rolling on the floor laughing just like that new Mortal Kombat rant you did. Amazing job.
Great rant Matt it seems they want to get Eva mendes back and even Gail Gadot and Michael Caine to be Helen mirren,s husband
It's Seems that they couldn't afford to keep Cardi B so that's why her and the female team disappear so quickly but yes this movie Pretty much was made for the Chinese market in the same way fast 7 was for the Middle East
Pretty obvious with this new movie that they also plan to do a prequel in the future
On the flashbacks they also show Letty, Mia, Jesse & Vince as youngsters
Pitch Black is his best film in my opinion!
A franchise that should of ended looooong ago. Great rant Matt!
@@Redmist-se7ld Shouls of ended with Fast Five. The best one.

Hated it too
'F9....more like, F this' haha :D
Fast 9 most underrated
Man, I haven’t watched since fast 4. Watched Tokyo Drift last month and it’s probably better than any of these new ones past fast 5. I just gave up on these movies, too many kept being made and stopped caring
@Cole Reviews I just might give fast five a try. Too many characters come along in the other films, kinda stupid lol.
I watched all of em
For the preparation of fast and furious 9
I liked Fast Five, Fast And The Furious 1, Fast And The Furious 7 and Tokyo Drift, though. There are plans for an all female Fast & The Furious spin off. I liked Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham characters the best in the Fast & Furious franchise. Paul Walker is missed.
I’ve been waiting for this rant
I'm a big Fast and Furious fan but the trailers for this one didn't impress me. 7 is actually my favourite in the franchise but I agree that 8 was underrated.
F9 had flaws no doubt about it such as the timeline errors but I actually enjoyed this one a lot more than 8.
Still made 500 Million Plus at the Box-Office.
Actually It's at 680 Million so far.
Fast 10 : when your here your family lol
I heard it was terrible
They go to the moon in cars so yeah
I rather watch Driving Miss Daisy.
Tyrese was a badass in F2 then he became a goofy character in the other sequels but here in F9, he's a mix of goofy & badass..
I was think Han was made into a cyborg with cybernetic enhancements but nope
I think they are going for the record for number of sequels
They'll probably top James Bond and Land Before Time for the most sequels.
@@JaredGriffiths2000 I wouldn't say the James bond films are sequels not unless you count the last four with Craig
Yes, it's pretty much tied with Friday the 13th and Halloween and other horror franchises for the most number of sequels.
Oh hell yeah! I've been waiting for this since I watched the trailer months ago.
I agree this film was pure shit from the heart of pure cool rant ramboraph4life dude keep rolling my man adios ✌❤😁
🤘💀🤘
I agree with you Matt that it should've stopped at 7.
I'm way ahead of you.
Nice.
These movies are self-parodies at this point. The only things to die in these movies are logic and physics. 🤣
Vin has to do more action movies! the only other decent movie that was good besides fast movies was a man apart! it reminded me of hard to kill!
I agree, I wasn't a fan of this movie either. If you want to see a dumb action movie done right watch The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard. That is a dumb action movie which is actually fun.
At least one good thing in F9! F3 Main charakter is back
Fast and Furious: A Franchise That Just Needs To Be Stopped! that is how I describe this franchise nowadays this was definitely a shitty movie this is honestly the second worst of the franchise after Part 4 and yes I rather watch Part 8 (Which I liked) and Tokyo Drift over this piece of shit any day it’s was so unneeded, so boring and so uninteresting even for a dumb movie this was going too far I completely agree with you Matt.
Vin diesel could have stuck with iron giant either it was a voice role
It's crazy how Justin Lin have directed 3 of the best movies of this franchise and also the worst 2 ones
His two worst to me is Fast 4 & 6, His two best is Tokyo Drift and Fast Five and as for F9 that one was average at best.
I honestly can't imagine Fast X next year being any better than this piece of shit of a movie
Yo, you should do a commentary of this movie with Fabio and Michael King. That would be hilarious 😂
Yeah I'm only into these current ones for the dumb fun, I love escapism like this, going to space finally and Cena being Vin's brother even though he's got a full head of hair lmao

They should have ended it at 7
No, it should’ve ended at 6.
The fifth one is the end for me
I agree.
It’s better to get it from Redbox
@@Redmist-se7ld Yeah, you’re probably right but I want to own it since I already have the rest of the series on blu-ray.
You know fast 9 stole the armored train truck scene from Deadpool 2 and the copied the dark knight rises when vin diesel gets his ass kicked and Michelle Rodriguez watched in a locked cage
Even Furious 7 stole from Captain America The Winter Soldier with Jason Statham showing up here and there out of nowhere.
Yeah
That's something that it was never mentioned before
I feel like that these people were losing steam this time around and it shows
Fuss and the furious 9 it was okay, but John Cena is a really good actor, but I cannot see him as the villain they should’ve put someone else as a villain.
Iprefer watch rambo 5 than this
This was so disappointing, easily the weakest film in the franchise but it's not the worst, it's a fine time waster and I do put this one up over Fast & Furious 4,6,8, Hobbs & Shaw but compared to the first three, Fast Five, Furious 7 it's nowhere close in comparison, I hate how this one and 8 unravel the events of the 7th film even more and made Jason Statham character even more of a less deadly incompetent threat than he was, Hate Cardi B and her trash music and fuck her cameo, Brian staying home and taking care of Dom baby was a even more of a slap in the face to Paul in spirit than what the 8 film did by having Dom name his baby after his character, Han return is contrived bs, He didn't need to come back at all, they didn't even do a twist where he is the mastermind behind the plan to acquire the Ares device to destroy the world with Charlize Theron so wtf was the point ? I guess himself, F9 just felt like a wasted installment it doesn't do nothing to push the series further in terms of story, stakes and tone just like John Wick Chapter 3 other than be a commercial for the next one, I thought from the very first teaser that was released before the first trailer last year (The one where Letty tells little Brian to prepare yourself for what's coming as you see Dom in his garage clutching onto his cross necklace while pondering about something in fear and sadness with some sad melodramatic piano music in the background) that it was at least going in that direction but it didn't, even the action despite how ludicrous it is still felt weak, Half the time I forgot I was watching a Fast movie, It was just a cash grab and that is a shame.
even its poster looks like a complete mess
Great rant Matt!
Btw, The Suicide Squad SUCKS!!!!! Cannot believe the good reviews that piece of trash is getting
Dwayne Johnson got Hobbs & Shaw which apparently is getting a sequel.
That movie was way better than F9
In my opinion Brandon Lee should be the lead in 12 Rounds if he was alive that would be great
Didn’t mind the villain Aidan Gillen but James Woods would be even better villain or Gerald Butler as villain too ;)
Ps. F This buuuuullshit
This is worse than 4. The writers of these films should be working for SYFY channel. The timeline is a serious mess and they keep coming up with more bullshit like hologram Han and Dom having a white brother lol.
I agree with you on Michael bay. The next one is going to be f u.

A lame and disappointing sequel and damn has this franchise went downhill since Fast and Furious 6 IMO. Fast and Furious is still the worst film in the franchise for me, but this was barely above it and I'd even put 2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift above this.

This movie was too much and too far off the reservation. There is a line of too far, and this film did it. It's the kind of 'Ah, C'mon' crud that just makes a viewer give up and just go "F It". To each their own. On top of that? Characters that are literally going nowhere by this point, lame villains, boring stories that sits there like roadkill (the Cena and vin diesel story-line was a Cure for Insomnia) and...this is way past its' expiration date.

rambogra-4life.
@@ramboraph4life The whole background story with that bad none Vin Diesel looking guy was pointless just cut all scenes and F9 is much better
9 just felt more like a setup movie to 10 and 11. 9 was more like Fast & Furious 8.5 while 10 is the actual true Fast & Furious 9.
fast and furious 8 is the worse to date
@@NicksHEAT1995 no doubt, i understand that
Ah come on the movie 🤣🤣
I’d send Matt a PayPal to review idle hands it also has a good soundtrack and the movie Go from 1999
You do know I have already reviewed both of those films on my channel, right?
@@ramboraph4life what up Matt. I totally agree with you when you say about Vin Diesel career. Maybe he should do Above The Law reboot movie, The Expendables 4, 5, maybe he can play The Punisher in the upcoming The Punisher movie or something. I am not familiar Bloodshot. He should retire from the Fast & Furious films. I also love Tyrese Gibson. He should do romance or drama anything. These Fast & Furious films are wasted of time.
