While your video solved some kinks I had when building together multiple platforms, how do you make a wall in the gap where the two platforms meet? You can build another floor but it only sticks out of the side there and you cant build on it. I solved covering the gap itself there by using a giant metal hatchframe and trapdoor to avoid anything sticking out from the platform.
@@cla7ter Thx for the reply and I tried that after your method earlier this week and found it worked better for me. Likes both of your solutions but these ocean platforms has quite few bugs making combining them...interesting. LOL. Planning to keep experimenting with both ways in Creative Mode to see if I to learn how to use either better. Cheers and thx again.
@@luisdavila7776 Not on playstation im afraid and it was on a private server, moved on to official now so cant even post a link to any screenshots im afraid. I do know one can make 4 platforms into one large based on that I seen others do it....just dont know how.
please explain what and how you are doing this? It shows as red and then you change the view and it shows green in some side angle that in Official I don't see how you are doing. I tried changing to global view etc and when I do that the platform is hovering high in the air and the only way I was ever able to get the platforms to be close like this was to walk off of the lader and move foward in regular view looking down at the ground. Thanks.
Good afternoon. This is a matter of practice. In this game, third-person view and stairs are important elements of construction. What do we need it for? It's simple. When we turn on the third-person view, we can move strictly along the axes, forward-backward, left-right. We need the ladder to align this movement clearly. This approach allows us to align the structures in the game as evenly and correctly as possible. You get on the stairs, switch to third-person view (on the pc key k) and twist, zoom in and out with the mouse wheel, making the view you need, then move up and down the stairs. Also you can not move, and switching back to first-person view and changing the direction of view again switch to third-person view. Practice and you'll be fine.

Why when I built it that way I can’t close the top or when I put ceilings on and destroy one the whole roof falls
