I did that too once except I dropped 2 sketchbooks at the same time..... safe to say one cushioned the other's fall so one was less wet??? But I had to swim into the reefs around the vacation huts to get it and they dried but it was like the whole book's pages were wavy and hard to draw on... T^T

A lot of the time a drawing is going well and the artist makes a mistake in the final stages and rage quits. Most people can’t even see it and wouldn’t even know it’s there, but the artist can.
@@yorutsumetai yeah I get it, I'm an artist too and it has happened to me a lot too, I just wanted to let her know that other people do think the drawing is great so that would encourage her more to be proud of what she has done
soft rock Yeah. I do think a lot of RUclips artists should be a bit nicer to themselves though. It can affect beginning artists views of their work. But yes, that makes sense.

art tip for beginners:don’t say your art sucks when it’s not even finished yet saying things like “This is gonna suck” when you literally just started with eye will affect how you draw it think positive when it comes to art so it’ll turn out great-

I found that your sketchbooks are the prettiest among all sketchbook tours I've watched. I don't know, but the sentimental value over all mess and stuffs that you've done in there, I can feel how nostalgic was the experiences of drawing and painting in there. Sometimes I look up messes as something I hate but seeing the pages bleeding here and there.. I don't know but there's a good feeling.
And my sketchbooks aren't as legendary as you yet, but I'm working on it

Canson XL mix media sketchbook is perfect for watercolor!

Mixed Media sketchbooks! I recommend the Bee Paper and Strathmore! Not really Canson XL, I find that the watercolor pools on the surface and doesn’t soak in quickly.
