My husband starts playing the MyVEGAS app about a month before our trip. We've spent $0 on the app and we've had several BOGO dinners, free monorail passes, and discounts on show tickets. There are a few catches, but main ones being that many of the deals are only available if you are staying at an M Life resort and you need to make the redemption before you land in Vegas. Once you're in Vegas many of the better deals are not available.
If you travel to Vegas often, find the hotel you'd like to stay at, gamble a few hundred dollars at least (at tables you might want to buy in with a large sum and hack the pit boss comp system) and you'll surely get free room offers. Going to Vegas in a week and I have any week free each month to stay at a few properties. It's better than paying for the room at all, and you just have to spend a little in subsequent trips to ensure the rewards keep flowing. Reminder that when you gamble, you get free drinks and the entertainment pays for the cost of future rooms.

The best thing to do if you wanna stay at MGM resorts is to get the Mlife Mastercard...I currently have this card it is issued through FNB i belive...the card automatically upgrades you to Pearl status and also gets you some of the Gold perks...you get VIP check in with dedicated line...acces to VIP lounge...Complementary parking and you also earn Tier points and lots of other things for everyday purchases...check it out

I just booked for Vegas using luxury hotels and resorts (chase sapphire reserve) and thought it made a lot of sense. Got the free credit at the same rate of a regular booking had I made it elsewhere.

If you are military or veteran you get upgrade status at MLift Mgm and Ceasars Rewards (formally total rewards) and military Mondays at Stations Casinos. And some offer senior status too. Credit card rewards for these three are same in bonus. Wynn casinos don't publize rewards, boyd group will zero out points if no gambling in 6 months (lost 50000 there because of this). If you find any veteran deals in travel would love to find them. I work airline so I look for hotel and car deals.

Before Hyatt changed their rewards program, Hyatt credit card got you platinum status, which I used to match for M Life Gold status. Then I was able to reverse match my M Life gold status to Hyatt Explorist til Feb 2019. Since M Life reward program ends in Sept and Hyatt is on Feb, I can keep on reverse matching both statuses. Also M Life allows linking accounts which gives my wife Gold Status and for her to match for Hyatt status. Which I will have her do in Sept 2018, just in case the reverse match fails. If you choose M Life as your Vegas Status, do not forget about partnership with Hyatt and Southwest airlines. Receive 5 Hyatt pts per dollar spent and 600 RR Southwest per stay. You are only suppose to choose one partnership but my last 4 stays in Vegas I was able to get both. (MGM, Bellagio, and Aria x 2)

So far I haven't found much if anyone has any other ideas let me know! So far I've only found that one slots app called myVegas slots, you play free earn coins and can redeem for free nights and other stuff but I'm not sure how practical or how much time i need to really put in to get a free room
So I guess Caesars is no longer matching other hospitality rewards programs. I spoke to my host and she said this: ....”Unfortunately, our Diamond Tier Match promotion for 2020 is for new sign up members only...” Has anyone tried it since Feb. 1st of 2020???

Mg-Life Rewards Mastercard I got this Pearl and get access free parking and VIP skip lines like Buffett...lol I had this credit card for almost 2years but not enough credit limit... I've making payments full a month. It doesn't give me any settings like request a limit.
Last time I stayed 5 nights in Vegas I had $220 in resort fees. I went to check out desk and said "I didn't use any of the amenities can you do something about the resort fees?" I also left a $20 dollar bill between the hotel room keys and he ask if I wanted change. I said he can keep it and he start taking each resort fee off for each day I was there. So net $200 :).

As someone who doesn't frequent Vegas (maybe every 5 years or so) having the points stay alive (and grow) between visits (with no annual fee). I'm also a veteran so auto Pearl Status, so for me the Pearl Status is not a big thing, but if you are not a veteran - then yeah, Pearl Status is cool! The other thing is, just having the M Life Mastercard and M Life Players Card triggers freebies through e-mail and snail mail. Last time I went to Las Vegas was comped air and room (weekday Mon - Thur).
Wondering if anyone had luck with signing up for the Hyatt Elite Tier Offer. I tried to sign up but it seems to be available only to those the offer was targeted towards. You must provide your email. I work for a large university and that email did not work(.edu) nor did my small personal business email(.com). Obviously my gmail didn't work either. So I'm curious if anyone has gotten to take advantage of it.
I think it's only for certain large companies. I'm guessing university doesn't work since students would be otherwise eligible (if they're just looking at the @domain). Were you looking to get free Explorist or trying to get Globalist?
I was trying to get the 90 day trial Explorist status. Since I'm going to Vegas here in late Oct or early Nov the timing couldn't have been more perfect to get a status match on Mlife.
i dont use m life anymore,,a few years ago they let you use i coupon each for the rooms,now your only aloud 1 coupon ONLY.this sucks,and i am no longer putting up with there shit...have fun mgm,as i will not visit there casinos.

carthwolf I tried it at the Rio and it worked, I got a suite. It was mid week and the view wasn't that great but a suite is still a suite
Tried it at PH and it did get me a strip view. Nothing special, tried to ask to waive the resort fee but no luck
Do not do it at Venetian or the Palazzo at the weekend. Very slim chance. Not sure about the weekdays though.
