We got caught in a crazy hailstorm in the wild mountains of a national park in Laos....and it was not fun.

How come there’s not even a car passing through during the hailstorm! It’s so crazy! Glad you made it to upload your footage! Woh now .. you both need to down a few beer 🍺 Lao. Do keep in mind in Southeast Asia it can rain a whole week or two straight and flooding.
There were cars but no-one stopped, we even saw a couple of other motorbikes who probably made the same mistake as us! Thanks 👍

That storm was crazy , we had a bad storm last year where I live and the hail were bigger than golf balls and it damaged more than 12000 cars and 2 of my cars got damaged but luckily both had insurance. Stay safe guys and keep making more awesome videos.
That's crazy, wouldn't like that to be falling on us out there, not sure our terrible helmets would withstand that!

Wow that’s crazy.. is the planet turning upside down and sideways? Hailstorms in Laos😳🤦♂️ but then again I’ve noticed we haven’t been getting much this year over here in Canada ... sooo ummm yeah it’s better there than here😉🤣

It's weird that their was hail here, we were in shock when it started falling, even the locals said it never happens and didn't believe us when we told them! Guess it is upside down! Thank you 😊
We were in Thailand in 2011 and a somewhat similar event ( flooded streets/highway) that our friends were saying that I brought the rains.. oh by the way.. it wasn’t me that unleashed the hail on you guys😉.. just wanted to make that clear.. you know .. just in case 😇😂

You guys were insanely courageous in battling the hailstorm, overcame the unexpected weather with only a few minor bruises.
Once you guys reached the Resthouse, the feeling would hve been satisfying & euphoric. The food & beer would have been icing on the cake.

in mountain close to Lak Sao weather can change very fast du to mountain and warm wind from west hit the east cold wind there micro climat in this area.

During rain season it's best that you guy don't go out, wait till the rain stop. Rains season in Laos are really heavy depend on the weather.

I’ve been hit by hailstorm before that’s much smaller than these, but they still hurt like crab, so I can feel how painful you guys have to take the size of these hailstorm. I wouldn’t recommend you guys keep driving on even little rain, cause there are many dangerous way, slippery road, thunderstorms, hailstorms etc...try to stop somewhere until the rains gone first before head out again. Glad you guys are safe and let this be a lesson.
Yeah we were more worried about sliding on the road than the storm itself, ice falling onto a mountain road is pretty dangerous!
