    Omg I don't even mind that it's such a long video. I would rather keep coming back to the same video than having to find all the different parts. I have also been rewatching every part that I've been working on. I think I've watched this video more than 20 times at this point just so I don't mess up. Thank you so much for this I absolutely love it.

    This is just a edited and more cut version for people who don't want to listen to me talk or don't want to have to skip through. The only thing i'll say is what you do to one panel make sure you do to the other. Otherwise your stitches will be uneven.
    Thanks for watching and taking an interest in my

    if you do end up using the red heart yarn and you feel that the sweater in the end is really rough and hard add 4 pitchers of water in a really big bowl and 1 pitcher of regular vinegar let it soak for at least 30 minutes then put in cool water for 30 minutes and block it like normal. you should have the sweater softer after it dries.

    • @pixzel2k
      @pixzel2k  Месяц назад

      i wash it with normal detergent and dry it with a towel for an hour tumble dry then air dry the rest of the day and it’s soo much softer

      @dani-lo3oc 6 месяцев назад +1

      @kylalorefice1467 yes! try and decrease to try to get the same amount of stitches! but don't worry if they're not exactly the same amount, mine had like 10 stitches more but it's not visible when you wear it.

    I had a 5.75 hook that came in a multi pack I got at Walmart and I got a really nice bamboo 11 mm from Amazon for around $8, if that helps anyone. I really love how my sweater turned out but I was confused by some parts of the first video. I also wanted my eye to be straight so I had to undo a couple rounds and make sure I had 80 stitches so it was easy to adjust the corners where I wanted them. It was worth it in the end, like I said, I absolutely love my sweater and I’m thinking of making another one.

      now the pattern and the video don’t match up perfectly (my fault lol) but they use just about the same stitches mostly around the same time. I’m so glad i could help you explore and learn more from crocheting i definitely think this tutorial does that. it uses math, over 5 stitches, and teaches you how to make things into a square tbh. I do wish at the end of each row youd tell us how many stiches you have. I just ended up having to frog half of my sweater because the stiches are off by a lot.
    You had 81 stiches, and I somehow had 78

    • @pixzel2k
      @pixzel2k  8 месяцев назад

      if you had 78 you could have just added 2 more to make it more divisible by 4. i make the pattern so if you don’t have the same exact amount you can adjust. i’m sorry though i’ll do better

    Do you have any idea how to make the panel longer but not wider( because its already the widht of my shoulders but kinda cropped and i want it to hit hip lenght)? :( i guess i could just attach my yarn at the bottom corner and just repeat one side iber abd over but maybe tou have a better idea so it looks "cleaner" ( because if i do that the colors are gonna be changing only on one side)

    • @pixzel2k
      @pixzel2k  Год назад

      I mention in the video to make the panel longer you can just add rows at the top and bottom only. same with making it wider adding rows to the left and right side. you will not need to do corner spaces for this you can just do 1 stitch in that corner space when starting.

    Amazing tutorial!! I’m working on the front right now, looks badass so far!💗 I just had a question about if we wanted a more circular sweater, how long exactly would you suggest to wait before squaring it? I’m not sure if waiting till the very, very last row before sewing is what you meant, or just last-ish, if that makes sense lmao

    So when you do the V stitch, you say that it should not be increasing I get that part. You also say that the stitches from the last row should be the same as the V stitch row, however I’m counting my previous row and it ends up being 87, then after I’m done with the V row it ends up being 96! So I guess my question is are the corner stitches increase places? Or am I just not getting it? 😭

      @@B00GH0STIE I did try that LOL!! I’ve never commented on a YT video before so this was my last resort. I'm currently making this for my partner and I as matching sweaters! It's going well and I'm following the hook instructions and loosening my tension. But it's turning out way bigger than your panel and I'm even using a 10 mm for the row 9 or 10. Idk if it's because of the huge needle or my tension

    hi, i really wanna make this but i'm an xs so should i just do less rounds along the square? (i hope that makes sense) i'm 5'2 (which isn't that tall but yea) and i'm worried it's gonna be cropped if i do less rounds! also, would it really affect the fit if i used a 10mm hook instead?

      10mm hook is fine. Idk your shoulder size but from other small sizes i would say stop around the v stitch ! it might be a little cropped but do trial and error holding the panel up to yourself to see if you like the way it fits :)
