I’m sorry you suffered a panic attack whilst hiking. I have Anxiety too, & a bad panic attack can be absolutely paralyzing. Thx for sharing this. It’s important to talk about these things, & never feel ashamed. Hugs.✌🏻💙
Oh Guy! That must have been terrifying - well done for posting, I'm sure it wasn't easy to edit and relive this 🤍 love the vlog style vid, really enjoyed watching you both 🙏🏼 Hope you guys had the best Christmas ❤️
Well done - it is so important for people to have realistic relatable content. Thank you for sharing that must have taken a lot not only to push through but to share. I too struggle with heights and know how it can feel, I have got some good strategies now to help me manage but it’s still a struggle at times. Again thank you
Well done… The more you do the more you’ll feel at home Great video keep it up. I live in North Wales and I’ve always lived in the country when I was younger. Used to love walking the hills. If and when I get my van, this is what I tend to do. Still watching RUclips videos at the moment to try and convince myself it’s the right thing to do living on my own in my little van fingers crossed
Thank you! Not sure I’m brave enough to do it again, but who knows. Go for the van, the freedom it brings is amazing, as is the community of wonderful people that live vanlife, be it full time or part time 🚐❤️
Thank you for sharing this ,the last time I tried to walk the coast path in Wales I had a massive panic attack and completely froze on the path I couldn't go forward or back I had to shout for my family who had walked on not realising I was in a state they came back and I had to place myself in the middle of them so I couldn't see the drop and they managed to walk me back to a bit that had shrubs between me and the edge.I haven't been back to the coastal path since and I completely understand how you felt it is terrifying .Well done for getting up Snowden I won't even attempt it.x
Well done Guy on posting this up - too many of us guys think that admitting things that have got to them is a weakness but in reality it is a strength - Face your Fears and Live Your Dreams........btw you and Jo have a collection of Dope Snow to rival myself n the wife! lol
Very endearing in a way to Share that..I get Anxiety random situations, I did manage to eventually figure out what was happening...but being out and travelling in the van in Cornwall certainly helps...just watched your one vlog...but think ill explore more...😉👌
Thank you for being so honest, nice to know I'm not alone. Love to hike but like yourself fall apart with sheer drops. Hate to accept that fact, and put myself in so many bad experiences. Feel now, its not worth forcing yourself and ultimately not enjoying.
The reality is that the fall will never hurt you, you might even enjoy the flying feeling but when it is time to stop the fall that can really mess you up. My recommendation is to not stop.
Good video guys, at least you respect the mountain many don't. Guy your only human, don't beat yourself up. If you get a chance go and hike Old Man Storr on Skye, 100% worth the drive.
Amazing vlog guys but no shame in fearing heights! I do not enjoy heights at all but a couple of years ago I joined my wife on a "desensitisation " course. She was a confirmed arachnophobic but by the end of the course she was holding a range of large , and I mean large, spiders. Part of the course involved hypnotherapy. I was incredibly surprised since this helped with my fear of heights. Keep up the good work. SId and Nicola, Rugby
Well done the persevere. I have a mild fear of heights but it seems to manifest itself mostly when crossing tall bridges. It also doesn't help that I drive a high profile vehicle and that I'm living on the road now! Not sure confronting our fears really diminishes them, however.... BTW, why is there a lock on the OUTSIDE of that bathroom??
To share fears.. You've more balls than most... I've done Englands and Scotlands highest they have the most beautiful views and snowdon is next... Clouds at the peak do spin you out a bit as you can't see much, thanks for sharing kudos to you 👍
My heart goes out too you had the same issues for years now 53 years old had too lay on the floor walking down to durdle door while my wife laughed at me ❤😢
I also climbed somewhat unprepared up Snowdon in September. Legs stopped working took longer reached the summit at sunset train cancelled because o 70 mph winds. Had to phone for a taxi….helecopter took me to Bango hospital where after checking me over informed me that I had a heart attack up there. Kept me in for 10 days unable to drive for 4 weeks 😟welcome to nomadic life 😉🚍⚓️🇬🇧🏴

Great to hear you found help, I won’t give in to it even if it’s not on my 2025 bucket list to go back to a mountain! Love to you all ❤️
