I play 3 hour shows and while my 2000 Taylor 410CE sounds great it does kill the arm after a while. Plus, we typically play 2-3 shows back to back. Saving my gig money for this guitar.

That is a comfortable size for sure, the necks are thin with a 15 degree fretboard electric like design. The trade off for comfort is tone, they just don't sound that good comparably. The X braced models actually sound better, than V braced. The pick up again is convenient, but a bit digital sounding in reality.

Personally I don’t put too much stock into where the woods come from (!!) I have had 15 guitars in my lifetime, not exactly ruining any forest, anywhere. The Japanese clear cut entire forest’s in Sitka ,Alaska (and we let them) and save their own “precious” forest’s . We could talk about this for days. But the 324ce …. I had to buy it too.(!!!) bevels, silent satin finish-no pick guard!!!! So tired of ugly pick guards stiffening my sound board top . My buddy has a discount/ low end Martin and all he can think about is “how much did it cost…( fyi he buys made in China guitars)
Best freakin $3000 I ever spent!!!!

I also have one of these guitars. The reason I bought it is because the neck felt similar to my 1981 dean ml. I've had the dean most my guitar player journey, so when I grabbed one of those Taylor's it just felt like home.

I was so close to getting one of these Gorgeous guitars until I put in my best earphones and really listened to videos of it being compared to other guitars that I like. I found that I liked the sound of the regular 324 much more. (Only on the higher notes). Maybe it's just my ear but the higher notes didn't seem to resonate inside of the guitar at all rather they seemed to just fall off of the strings. Maybe it's just me

@@Therapyxx she sounds darker and is a bit easier to play caus the neck is not so small. The sound via pickups is great.

If you play with a pick and don't have a pick guard, isn't the top going to look like Willie Nelson's guitar soon? How does that work?

    Hi David
Great explanation about your guitar, the reason I say this is that this is, the review I have been looking for. I constanstly change my tuninings and have damaged my guitar ( Top end cole clark fla3c ) . This guitar sounds similar and playability, STAYTUNED !
    Thank you for your review.

You're kidding. You don't let the guitar do the talking, just blah blah blah?
