I just purchased my first "serious" acoustic guitar, Taylor 110e. Thanks to your demos, I knew more what to look for and what to listen to :) Keep up the good work.
Three days late! How did I miss this in my feed? I'll put it down to getting used to my new MacBook (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it). Your usual excellent (actually, superb) and thorough round up, Ben. I have to say I like this guitar very much, I was impressed with the acoustic tone and the pickup sounded terrific to my ears on the recording. I just can't see me spending that much for one when for the same money I could have a really nice Martin/Atkin/etc. Every time I look at Taylor I get excited, everything looks good on paper, build quality, playability, that great neck joint system and then I immediately find a reason not to buy one (rational or not), but that says more about me than it does about Taylor! Heart over head every time.
Bling is not for everyone, but those who like it get plenty with Taylor.... that said, I love Taylors but find many of their offerings have far too much bling for me. So when they come out with a subdued version I gravitate to them. I love this one here. Cheers!
I was looking at this one and the Taylor 414ce V special edition. Ended up going with the 414 because I loved the “bling” around the sound hole on the 414 and it just resonated so well. If this one had the same styling as the 414 I would have gotten this one hands down. They both have a bright room filling tone but the aesthetics on the 414 just looked so good to me
I have a 2018 324CE and I have noticed over the last few years the changes. I was in a shop this evening and saw the latest 324CE and to me it didn't look "Odd" at all...it looked über premium! I am going to actually check one out tomorrow to see whats up with it.
Apart from the Builder’s Edition styling features, how does this compare in overall tone with a Taylor 410ce with a Spruce Top and Ovangkol back and sides?
I just bought the Taylor build 324ce and I have it featured in my videos, its a great looking guitar sounds fair, but i like my Martin GPC 13 better,I guess I'll get used to it soon I hope🥰💚💙🧡🧡💗
Did you get used to it? I have a 324e and it blows away any Martin in its class. Taylor I believe is far better than Martin although Martin is very good too. Jmo
Yes it took about 6 months for the sound to come out, sounds good and smooth I need to get control of my strumming, stress and hard playing is not good for this guitar
It’s all subjective, I disagree with most of this review. I have both a Taylor 814ce and a Martin HD28VE, my brother recently bought the 324ce and brought it over, I played my two and his through a Fender SFX amp and preferred the 324ce over my 2 more expensive guitars. As far as looks I think it looks very elegant and classy. It had better low end than my two. I will buying one.
I disagree with your assessment of the esthetic of this guitar. I bought it entirely for the sound and ergonomics . I played it against Martins and Gibsons in the same price range... this one kept calling to me. So I bought it.
Taylor are almost guaranteed to be great on stage, they just seem to lack that character of my Lowden which have unique voices within the model; you can fall in love with a Lowden and dislike its identical twin
Finally, a review that doesn't sound like a commercial for Taylor. Thanks!

Cool, enjoy the 110e! Thanks for watching!

Would you consider this guitar more of a custom shop or a general factory build?
Good honest review without sounding like a Taylor sale pitch!
Thanks for these reviews! If you get a chance I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Takamine P3NY.

Sir... Please make a review video on.. 814ce V bracing. 😇
Superb video! Tested it today sounds and plays great to me! Would you buy it? Is it worth the money? What else is better?
What amp are you using?

I mulch my yard every year. 🎉
Hello, How much? guittar
714 with a tuner upgrade is what I'm thinking
Meu sonho de consumo! Me mandem um de presente!
Taylor guitar how much?

I’m tickled with your British accent. Want to ask what country and region are you from ?
Hey, I'm from England, I grew up near London but I live in Devon now... Thanks for watching, Ben

Ok
Way too much money for a 300 series. Taylor’s not reading the market very well right now.
Why are you being so frugal ?
Guitars last like 30 years. Thats $110 a year.
Agreed. For example: Furch Yellow Series in the same price range.
