Great swim by Regan. Only thing is, now the target is on her back for Paris. Can she handle the McKeown pressure? Time will tell. History tells us that the WR holder is less likely to win the the Gold medal.
It should be a great 100m contest between Kaylee and Regan, if you watch Kaylee's replay from last week in the Aus trials she was a body length in front of the world record with 25 metres to go and made a technical stroke error inches away from the way, she decided to go another stroke..if you freeze frame the link at 128 seconds, you will see her whole hand well in front of the record where if she glides and kicks.. she brakes it, what did it cost her?..never the less, neither athlete can afford any errors in Paris it will be a perfect race perhaps dead heat would be fitting.
I think the world record line from Aussie trials was the average speed over the whole length- so it would always be behind in the last 25 if anyone got close to a wr
The speed at which you release these videos is so impressive
Minnesota Girl making us proud!
US 2nd place finisher, Katharine Berkoff, also went under 58 with 57.91.

The world record line at Aussie trials was so inaccurate it should be ignored.
