Nice Box but would not recommend anyone using unsafe router table with no guards in sight or without using push blocks or sticks to feed wood with. You could easily lose a finger or two using your method.
what is the second grove used for, seemed to skip over that in the video. I have been making some for a Pen/Pencil/Letter Opener all in 1. Using a homemade CNC.
D. Reichert thanks for comment. The smaller slot is for storing ink refills. I did explain, at the start of the video, but yes i unfortunately didn’t get any footage of routing the smaller slot.
Janet Miller I use a small Chinese laser engraver, I bought off eBay, works really well. As for the font, at this moment, I have no idea, as it was done over a year ago, but there’s loads of fonts to choose from, in the laser programme, which comes with the laser.
I like the idea of the magnets as a latch. Very neat.
