Original music: "Hood" by Matthew Barnes (Forest Swords) Игры
People who say "Why doesn't stay have a hood in game" You don't get it, he's not supposed to have one. The trailer shows him removing his assassin attire one by one. First he drops his swords, a weapon the assassins were fond of, then he sheathes his hidden blades that are the Assassin's trademark weapon. Then finally he removes his hood, an iconic accessory of the assasins and conceals the identity, showing he has now abandoned his assassin heritage, and unlike his assassins, he isn't afraid to show his face to his enemies. And last, instead of killing the assassin with the hidden blade or swords, he takes out his rifle. In the game, Shay stole that rifle from a shipment meant for a Templar. He is now killing an assassin with a Templar weapon. Whatever assassin remained in Shay is now gone. He is a Templar
That’s a Templar sword though
Best explanation! Thank You.
What you said doesn't make sense he still uses his hidden blades the most iconic of assassin weapons and you have hoods just not with that particular outfit
@@caliburn1123 He is just saying what the trailer is trying to tell the audience about the character.
@@caliburn1123 it's called a metaphor, you can also wear Ezio's outfit, but i heavily doubt evey second assassin has his legendary armor
It's funny how when you watch this trailer,Shay comes off as a remorseless,brutal,stone-cold killer. Yet once you play the game and watch the story trailer,it gives an ironic twist and shows you that in reality,Shay's the one good apple in a bad bunch and genuinely has feelings and regrets killing the people he once cared for.
Super Psychic Memory Card Reading Gas Mask the trailer almost feels like he’s jaded, like how he is/would be in the epilogue.
That is true
I reach the end of the trailer. The screen is still. And I am a gamer. The video has led me to the forgotten titles of this franchise. Hours pass, drawing me deeper into the story, where I have found the truth. That my entertainment is found in gaming, that I must burn away my savings to play this game. Once a sceptic, now a fanboy. I must disagree with those who I once called realist. The screen is still, and I am a gamer.
Can I just marry you now even though you might be a dude? That was awesome.
Give this man a cookie.
+Alexander Clarkson You deserve a cookie!
fucking nerd hahhaa way worst than me xD
+Alexander Clarkson I salute you Sir.
Only if the gun actually shot bullets
oh yeah it shoots darts
yea when i saw it then i was like fuckkkkkkkk
that and the hood
Morganthe wait it doesn't fire bullets? Well that explains it
the Assassin Killer Outfit from Uplay might be even better in my opinion...gotta love the mask
So many kids in the comment section..."i will never play a templar because assassins are the good guys!!!"...
***** well I killed haytham
and to FUCK TEMPLARS
Grey Fox haha lol ive always wanted to play as a templar to see how they do things, they are badass like shay
Because it's true, judging by previous games on the series, Templar are evil. Assassins are like those who fight for their rights. While the Apple should be where it should be, works as how it works. Unlike what Templar wants with the Apple. Assassins are the good guys.
@@CookieeMonstarr666 god has ordered for the apple to be used for it's true purpose though, free will is a sin and an illusion
perhaps the most under-promoted entry in the series. Developed at right around the same time as Unity, Ubisoft focused on advertising it's next-gen title rather than this one. Funny, this one actually turned out to be one of the best in the series.
Tru dat
Rafael Ulloa Under-promoted is right bruh. I didn't even know they made this game until three days ago.
Right.
+Rafael Ulloa This is tied with AC2 to me as the best AC
+Rafael Ulloa This is tied with AC2 to me as the best AC
I've wanted to play as a templar's perspective for a while. It's an opportunity to show the Templar's view of things, which should be interesting. i don't know why people may dislike the idea.
its kind of a backstab to the people we've been playing and grown accustomed to in the past several games, like in mass effect if you played as a cerberus captain killing the people you protected in previous games, its interesting but...
I guess you're right. But, all in all, it is only a game.
we're all aware its a game, doesn't stop people becoming immersed and interested in the story, and come to like the characters,
also very true. and i don't blame them. However some people just need to loosen up and accept change.
A templars perspective? So you'd love seeing all of your friends getting slaughtered, knowing that your next? Sounds interesting;)
Shay Cormac is badass.
me too!
S96Blue agreed 100%
He's a savage to assassin's
"I reach the end of the trail. The air is still and I am a hunter. The hunt has led me to the forgotten edges of this world. Seasons pass, drawing me deeper into the darkness, where i have found the truth: that my redemption is found in ashes - that i must burn away the past to set things right. Once an Assassin, now their pursuer, I must destroy those who I once called brother. The air is still, and I am a hunter.............BAAAM!"
This Assassin's Creed was better than Unity
Hi M9 yea eventhough shay became the boggest traitor
Hi M9 i mean biggest
Yeah, but this had a totally different story. Unity pretty much used the ACII storyline and changed a few things where as, this was awesome... but short :(
So true
this was made in a day and still better than unity
One of the best Assassin's creed games ever made! ❤️
This game confuse players who love assassins' since beginning. This Break the game lore.
@@prophet7318 Or it just shows the pov of Templars, its not about good or bad, its about perspective. and imo what Assassins want 'freedom', is basically Anarchy in fancy words, people have freedom when there is structure and organization above to protect them.
Rogue > Unity
100% true
+FalseTactics XD where did you see me
Damb right!!!!!
E.T. the Atari game > Unity
M.J did you play rouge
I'm surprised that Arno remembers who his real father is and that he doesn't care to figure out how he died.
Matthew Adair yea I would have loved if the Unity game had Shay actually appear
Matthew Adair well nobody in the party noticed shay killed Arno's dad, so yeah pretty much shay was clever enough to cover his trail. As he said to Liam "I make my own luck"
Snaker57 good point
I wish he did
Templar Goals:discover every secret and make every man equal with each other and doing everything toghether
Assassin's Goal:Stop whatever the templars wana do.
Templar Goals: control,power and peace
Assassin's Goals: Liberty, peace and stoping templars from controling everything and sometimes taking it by force in the name of "peace" peace for who? sometimes they try buying the lands like normal people but if they dont agree...(shot in face)
Peace doesn't always come with liberty.
Brandon Rinehart sure because having templars idea of peace is great, reply me to awnser later on PC if u want to know what i mean
...I was agreeing with you. O,o
Brandon Rinehart oh ;-;
Templars don't need hoods mate there's no fear in showing your face to your enemies
+Frank Apalategui hoods are cowards!
spongeyspikes09 you sir are bloody right
+Frank Apalategui they are still the bad guys. Don't care if they show their faces they still want to rule the world
Matty Shaw Only they will rule without humanity being dicks to each other anymore
Matty Shaw no they want a world where people won't complete dicks to each other anymore, people often question why is there evil in the world it basically points out to 1 answer: Free Will
If only his Templar outfit had a hood then it would be more ironic when he kills assassins and it would look cooler
I was kind of miffed that the outfit you see in this trailer isn't really in the game.. I have to buy for 15,000 an outfit that looks kinda similar, best I got..
Deathbrewer Actually it is in the game. You need to reach around the point where Shay is officially an Templar, and then it will be avaliable in the outfits as "Templar Outfit" it doesn't change automatically, so even I only noticed it after a while.
U
It doesn't. the Templar outfit only has a collar he puts up
TheLegendOfAshar Not a collar. A mask. But hood + mask = awesomeness.
''The air is still...and I am, a hunter"
...... ................ ................ ........ .. ... .. . .. .
Gave me the chills, had this turned up with headphones on, imagining I was there; with the freezing wind on my face, chilling my bones, and just watching as he held his breath and made his decision, which you could see in his eyes..this is one of the most wicked trailers I've seen of any vid game lately..just wow. Great job those at Ubisoft who created this piece of art :) I mean it's quite sad, and a little morbid, but it's also beautifully laid out..
Wow that's so gay.
***** Usually I ignore comments like this..but all I'm gonna say is, isn't this what some vid games are supposed to do; grab our attention, give us these great impressions, make us think, make us go "Wow" you know? like the games that are going for a cinematic/strong storytelling style..those wow moments, a lot of which are In, During the game, I love that..those moments where what you're watching, or what just happened, makes you smile and you think to yourself, 'Now This is Some Beautiful Art' ;)
Haha yea dude, you are the first person i have apologized too! :D But i really do take it back, super idiotic of me to type that. ;)
Alright, thanks..and nah not idiotic, just..reactive idk lol but anyway it's all good, it's all behind us, Water under the Bridge my man!
So, what consoles do you have, or plan on getting? Jus curious :)
I want a ponytail because of Shay
I miss those years where AC games actually felt like a Ac game
FORREAL but i think they bringing it back hopefully the old combat
Mirage will be an AC game
What if Ubisoft makes games called "Templar's Creed" lol
Well, it would be called Templar's Code cause Templars don't have a creed, they have a code.
*order
lol
"We require no creed." -Haytham Kenway
LoL I know this was 3 yrs ago but its still funny.
I think this is one of the best Assassin’s Creed games, largely due to not being an Assassin in it and it explains what happened to them before the events of Assassin’s Creed III
YES Ive always wanted to play as a Templar , I personally like their goals and ideology better than the hypocritical assassins , May the father of understanding guide us!
Croc Gator They do have a more civilized way to mark their member. A good subtle silver ring, instead of a third degree burns on your finger.
But seriously, I'm glad they pick the colonial Templar to play as. The Renaissance Templar, I think is too corrupt to side with.
Ideology?? Hold on let me grab my grade 12 social studies textbook and look for the definition of ideology. Don't judge me, knowledge is power.
Templars All the way. Peace through Order, my brothers.
TrueNeptune may the father of understanding guide you
They don't want to bring peace to the world.......want to rule it 😠😡
look at his eyes when the assassin reaches his hand out. he looks SAD
he hesitates too
the crazy vlogger thaworth yeah, he actually does
This trailer makes so much more sense than the other one. With his monologue talking about changing seasons, redemption found in ashes, the changing backgrounds and the fire really tracks.
The UK version of this trailer imo is the best version of this trailer with the speech
I'm completely speaking out of my ass right now, but by the looks of this trailer, I don't think Shay really cares about either organization. You see he drops the Templar sword, then retracts the Assassin blade, and removes his hood; this means that the act of killing the assassin could likely be for neither group, but rather just for himself. Also, he never calls himself a Templar, but rather a hunter. I feel like he only joined the Templars as a way to achieve his own personal vendetta.
If that's not what the story is, I shall hunt ubisoft
Well said my friend
Nerd alert
It could be true!!!!
He makes his own luck
definitely the most mature AC story
not as cliché as unitys terrible story
and lol at all these kids that cant stand looking at the other side. all those black-and-white thinkers.
as if there was only one correct side
thats nit how the world works kids
Lewt Shogun-Shien They shouldnt have released the unity, instead this one should have been the next gen one
I don't know... I mean AC3's story was pretty deep
+Stopped Clock Charles Lee was treated like a bit of a scapegoat and what you described as a cartoony villain, imo. (Good character but ruined by being treated as the worst person in the game) I do understand what you mean in terms of the general feel too it, but Connor was a bit too childish.
I liked the way Rogue did it tbh. I've always thought the Assassins weren't really as good as they think they are. Bringing "freedom" only through death.
Mature? This is as cliche as the series could get.
See I’ve noticed people saying what you’re saying, but I’ve never come across people who think that way. Everyone I know who’s played Rogue has understood Shay’s point of view.
Irish Murder Simulator 2015
this just feels weird though knowing its a second main game of the year
y u do this?
My only thing I wish they could have done was have Shay put his "gas mask" on when you walk into a restricted area, instead of slightly raising his collar.
+OliverIcy well there is an outfit that has a mask
Templar killer outfit
Thank you Ubisoft Sofia for the game.
I have a theory about this game:
What we know: Shay was once an Assassin but then a dangerous mission went horribly wrong, the Assassins then neglected Shay so he turned his back on them and started hunting them down.
I think the start of Rogue will show Shay on the ship that Duncan Walpole was on at the beginning of AC4, the Assassin ship taken out by the storm (the mission that went horribly wrong). The story will then follow Shay as he hunts down Assassins, interacting with Haytham and possibly Edward, leading to a final showdown with Connor.
I believe he fights Connor and kills him. I believe this because we know how every Assassin has died so far, except for Connor.
Altaïr: Died at 92 in his library.
Ezio: Died of old age (possibly heart attack) on a bench in Florence.
Edward: Taken out by Templar agents, while Haytham was still a young lad.
Haytham: Taken out by Connor.
Connor: UNKNOWN.
His death has been kept secret, and Connor frequents New York, which is where the game is set, so Shay meeting Connor is bound to happen. Ubisoft may have been keeping his death a secret because it would be a big spoiler to what happens in Rogue.
EDIT:
As stated in the comments, I am aware of the time anomalies, and have amended the theory, so to all you retards who started being dicks about it, good job, learn to read.
Shay will be on the Aquila as it chases Haytham at the very beginning of AC3, because the Aquila got brought down by a storm, that will be the mission that went horribly wrong.
If that's not the mission that goes horribly wrong, then it will be something after that, because I believe that Shay will be on the Aquila.
I read somewhere that the game takes place during the seven years war, in that time period Connor would still be a little kid.
I know I'm just being a smart-ass here (especially since I know what you meant), but this is just too tempting to pass up...
Really? Every assassin has died so far? A human being with a finite lifespan kicked the bucket? What other revelations do you have for us? Water is wet? Or perhaps the sky is blue? Or, no, wait! Michael Bay likes explosions?
... Sorry. I'll take my flaming quietly now.
Anyways, I just looked it up and CallicoJackracham is correct; Rogue is set during the Seven Years' War (1754-1763), so Connor would have been a kid. It's also said to tie into Unity, is a direct sequel to Black Flag, and both Haytham Kenway and Adewale make appearances, so I think Rogue might be the one to bridge the gap between Edward and Connor Kenway.
CallicoJackracham Yes it takes place during the Seven Years War but who's to say the entire game is confined to those 7 years? The story could span a lot longer.
I think the final showdown will be with Achilles. I think this game will show how the templars wiped out the assassins in the colonies. Shay will beat Achilles and leave him crippled and the end of this game will have the assassin brotherhood demolished as seen in AC3.
Problem is the Seven Year's War is a whole 40 years after ACIV and ACIII is a whole 60 years after the beginning of ACIV. Shay doesn't look that old.
I got excited for a moment, i thought it was Altair! My bad..
ROFL! Right? I was like WOOOOOOO ALTAIR! Wait...
***** Nah mate, I think if these pair clashed Altair would be on the wrong side of the bargain by the looks of that mans rifle. Doesn't matter how fancy your foot work is if theres a bullet coming your way at several hundred mph.
DrBlueDot
i dunno lot of people would disagree. a gun can get the job done first shot always counts when using old antique weaponry i mean just depends who this one on one fight is with im not a guns expert or anything but that musket/rifle would take a while to reload pretty much useless if he got into a hidden blade fight ^-^. id love to see the match up though and see who wins.
DrBlueDot Altair moves pretty fast. If the guy misses his first shot, he'd be quite in trouble.
If ya'll sayings the assasin is Altair then your terribly mistaken, he is looooong dead by this point in time probaly
This trailer has such good bass in the song!
By far the best Assassins Creed.
Why is everybody complaining about being a Templar? Are you all 12? Can you not handle the correct way of life?
The shortest simple Assassin's Creed trailer yet one of the most badass
Wow...this trailer is actually chilling for me.. o^o I mean, I figured he was just another Assassin at first with the hood and the hidden blade, but after he shot the Altair-lookalike Assassin, I was legit stunned. Then I rewind the trailer and notice some really telling details about Shay that I didn't notice at first, like the Templar crosses on his outfit and sword handle.. XP his backstory as to why he joined the Templars is really understandable too (not that I support the Templars or anything, Imma Assassin through and through XD), since after a mission went wrong during his time as an Assassin, he decided to leave the Assassin order, but the other Assassins tried to kill him. Sooo...I guess in any situation, Assassin or not, if you're betrayed by your own brothers and sisters in crime, you tend to side with whoever is opposed to whoever betrayed you as a way to get back at them.
I love the poetic way Shay talks though, his voice is sexy imo =w=
This looks way cooler than Unity. Why can't this one be the one on next gen?
Yeah, it would be easy to port it to next gen just like they did with Black flag, especially since this game is very similar to it.
Trailer looks gorgeous, but the game graphics are always shit. Ubisoft's trailer allures u and when u play the game on ur console, the graphic is not the same at all in the trailer.
Kurisu Osafune It's not ''shit'' but it isn't as great as the next gen. Still, i am getting this game because i believe the story in this one will be amazing.
Still unsure though, we would not know if Unity is going to be as beautiful as the trailer. Also, To be honest, I like the story of rogue better than Unity. Since Ubisoft will release AC Rogue on Early 2015, I would definitely buy those 2 on PC.
Are u joking? The parkour in AC unity is much more fluid. (No hate) just explaining things bro!
I love playing as a templar more than playing as an Assassin :)
"May the father of understanding guide us..."
LONG LIVE THE TEMPLARS!
Dude look how cool and realistic his arm folds (0:53)
I only played this game just because it has ties with AC3, AC4 and AC Unity and also that the Main protagonist is a Templar.
i have played every single assassin creed game. and i gotta tell you this game is one of the best story tellers i have ever played. it gives alot of understanding for what most past assassin games was about. and it is the best assassin game made for pc. i played it with 2k resolution at 80FPS which is wonderful.
can't stop watching this trailer. This character looks badass. Goes with the music.
This was my favorite AC so far.If you're OCD like me this game will take you forever to beat, there are tons of collectibles. I don't understand the reviews it got. Don't listen to the reviewers. "Hurr Durr it's too much like Black Flag hurr durr." And? Black Flag was awesome. If it ain't broke don't fix it. You know what you get when you completely revamp the combat and movement system? Unity, and people bitched about that too.
The music just simply makes this one of the BEST trailers! Shay's voice is chilling. I love Rogue
not pc? oh so you are turning into that kind of developer oh well
They usually announce pc version afterwards. I hope they release a pc version, and not make us make 3 weeks after the console release too play it.
ixJamesey I'll guess it could be like with AC Liberations. PC port a few months after console release, maybe in early 2015.
ixJamesey Well PC wil hopefully get UNITY at the same time and then this probably a little after
It will eventually end up on PC, just like Liberations did.
with Unity, who needs rogue!?
finally, a game where you openly play as a templar. aside from AC3, we haven't been presented with a humanised depiction of the templars. i really wanted to see a game from their point of view, because as of now, they have mostly been presented as evil blood thirsty madmen. they realistically should be in some ways identifiable. iv looked at the AC franchise and politically, the assassins come viewed as left wing revolutionaries, whereas the templars are more right wing imperialists, much like the british empire. i felt myself drifting more towards the templars side when playing AC3, heytham really put it into perspective what they seeked. if i could chose between assassins or templars (the identifiable ones) i would honestly chose the templars. what they seek just makes more sense to me in terms of oder and purpose. this series has such great concepts for debate and discussion thats why i love it
lets not get into some political debate here. i was commenting on haythem kenways templar order. it resembles more of freedom yes but under a strict control, leaving no room for criminals. assassins resemble in my mind almost anarchism, which i am against, as they always tend to rid towns or whatever of governmental control
ANARCHY!!!!
***** As opposed to what the Assassin's now stand for? Total freedom? That is a recipe for anarchy, chaos, and well ironically, it leaves the door open for a ruthless tycoon to take over and once again make everyone bow. The assassins have a noble belief, but it simply wont work cause ultimate freedom leads to ultimate dictatorship down the road. You see? Its an endless cycle. Rogue makes a good point. Assassins once stood for Peace, bit over time that led to complete and utter Freedom. They really are naive. Now the templars on the other hand, yes they would control and give up certain rights, not all, but for true peace and order. Which would you rather live in....a world where a man could kill your parents and not be punished cause there are no laws? Or a world where a man could also kill your parents, but that man would see justice served. Anarchy vs Order. Total freedom vs Ordered Justice. Yes some templars are just nasty, like Lee. But others like Haytham and Shay I believe would make damn good leaders and to be honest, I'd follow them. Honestly, the templars views in Rogue were not that far from a modern democratic republic. Much like the US in fact. Not one leader but many, and anyone who is in that order may vote and have a say if someone is inducted. One particular Templar whom I believe was one of my favorite characters in all the AC series was Munro. That guy was noble and honest to the end. Yes he believed in order and also was not quite as ruthless as Haytham was. I would have never known the man was a Templar if i had not paid attention. You are branding ALL templars as controlling dictators. Not all of them are. Same with assassins. Some almost act identical to the evil templars. Only difference is the brotherhood they swore allegiance to.
Keep your stupid bullshit politics out of a game.. You can argue it both ways
xrdxex This game opens this type of discussion. I don't know how it is associated with politics however, because politics is about governance of a country, and Assassin's Creed isn't even close to that type of discussion. In the first place, it is historical fiction that relies on conspiracy theories that seems credible in order to be enjoyable. And this type of enjoyment is like what you get when reading novels, watching television series like game of thrones, and any other forms of entertainment that opens up discussions such as this.
All I'm saying on my previous comment though, is that it's not all black and white. Ubisoft seems to introduce this idea from their recent games, starting with Assassin's Creed 3 where supposedly, for example, the native Americans are the ones who really seek liberty.
You are right, it goes both ways for Assassins and Templars. They are both right and wrong depending on the circumstances and how the contemporary characters achieve their goals.
Still here. Still hunting down assassins.
I remember yall hating on this game, it ended up being one of the best Assassin stories in the franchise
Seems like an emotional story is underway. Looks great, can't wait to play, can't wait to read these comments as well. *Grabs popcorn.
these
happy now?
Hello there
Dr Haagen Dazs hi mate
BlueDragonGaming Fairing well, how about you?
I have to say that over the years, a lot of songs which were composed for assassins creed, the main titles and the ones from the game itself deserve a lot more credit. There are a few masterpieces in the game's saga which nobody knows
To those guys who think he is a traitor/templar. This Assassin is called Shay, and he lives in the 18th century. He once had trouble with a mission and got problems with the brotherhood. The other Assassins tried to kill him for this. Now he is hunting all those who tried to kill him down. Seems like an epic storyline
While he isnt the first templar we played, he is definitely the best and most sympathetic
I do not know what to think about this.
Same here
WTF? A new game?? Yessss!! And for old gen too!
It's ONLY for the old gen.
***** It's because it will cost less.
Old gen won't die so soon.
Many people will be happy because they dont have current gen yet.
It's an AC game.
And I wouldn't say I was "celebrating"
Humberto Hernandez Is it something to be disappointed about? We laready have a current gen AC game, AC unity
No WiiU or PC no hype
Goron Craft
ok
This is honestly one of the best trailers I have ever seen...and the game compliments it exceedingly.
AC Rogue might be forgotten by most people, but Shay is a very unique character and also, i really like the voice actor
Shay:" the air is still, and I am a....."
Conner:"Tomahawk chop!!!!............What did you just say?"
Kyle Lucien As both a lover of Shay and Connor, this comment made my day xD
by far the saddest and the darkest assassin's Creed game of them all
Whenever I have a bad day I always come to this trailer. Shay’s voice and this fuckin speech just calms me down
I've always been sympathetic with the Templars, and now I get to play one properly, I'm super hyped for this!
Really excited about this! Feels like Unity will be a wider-scale, grander story, whereas Rogue will be a more personal, self-contained story, and I love the sound of both!
"The air is still....and I AM A HUNTER", I can't take this guy seriously at this point! :D
I think it's quite an interesting twist to play as a Templar, I would like to see want can come of it
Imagine if they focused this instead of Unity
Was just thinking😂 just finished rogue and it was infinitely more interesting than unity. If they had just released rogue and on all consoles and built the story line it would’ve done wonders for this franchise.
Any reason why this is not releasing on PC?
Maybe because 2 AC this year is too much already. I'll come out for PC, but not this year, maybe later.
This game is the Unity replacement since that cannot run on old gen.
Because PC counts as next generation so its getting unity
because there is ac unity for PC.
BuzwellLP Yah. so any reason why this is not releasing on PC?
I’ll be honest as much as I wanted Shay to have a hood it makes sense why he doesn’t wear one in the game but I truly believe Shay’s story was going to be different, I feel like he only joined the Templars to hunt down the Assassins and to “follow his own creed” which is why him wearing a hood was a way for him to taunt the Assassins, but…it’s fine😒
Awesome! It will be interesting to see things from the villains point of view. I like the fact that until now we played as heroes and an anti hero and now finally we see what its like in the shoes of the villain.
This game has THE BEST story, and did a great job at antagonizing the Assassins.
This feels more like a dlc than an actual game
I agree
If DLCs are 20-40 hour ordeals with different characters, settings, gameplay mechanics, stories, animations, etc. then yes, Rogue is a DLC. By that logic, so were AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations, 3, and 4.
joeplaysguitar my thoughts exactly
Imagine if this was done with Unity's engine.
Love the outfit and the gun
Wow 6 years ago i feel old
This was really underrated game, shouldve released it on next gen systems though! Much better than Unity
this is 3 years ago i get it, but well rn, since the unity bugs are fixed, id like to see u say that now lol
The developers of Assassin's Creed Rogue are Templars!
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! I had been hearing about this game at GameStop since August--but to actually SEE it?!? So ready 4 this!!
The dialogue is extremely chilling
As a huge AC fan (not 'fanboy', if that is a bad thing) I have to say this looks awesome, cool idea..yeah I'm gonna hesitate to kill the first couple Assassins Shay betrays, and I'm sure a little part of me will die a little every time I kill an Assassin...BUT it's great to see things from a Templar's point of view..or well at least an Assassin-turned-Templar, maybe it will be easier to see why, how he could change his views so drastically it turned into betrayal..maybe it makes more sense than we think, they think they are doing the right thing, they aren't 'evil' (except for a few of them during the first couple AC games, after they became too powerful & corrupt those Templars were pretty damn evil lol) but the average Templar is not evil, just doing things they think will bring peace..and their way involves wayyy too much control..sure it might work, but at the cost of legit freedom.that's what the Assassins are fighting for: Freedom, they also believe in Order of course, just not Control, like the Templars aim for..I love this idea, playing as a Templar..I think it might even help us understand Elise's point of view when playing Unity.
Also, it's okay they are releasing 2 games, one each exclusive to a different generation of consoles..Ubisoft have enough teams that they can work on multiple games and they know what they're doing. Like c'mon people, they're finally Truly changing things up from the usual AC thing; AC Rogue, while continuing the Naval stuff, has us playing as a freaking Templar, while Unity is truly changing every major part of the AC series but for the better, all 3 pillars are getting revamped and more realistic, and more awesome!! Ubisoft is finally moving on, trying new things, and from this year on it's looking awesome :D
I give a clap to you sir....awesome words!! XD
i still loves this trailer
Just a heads up to anyone thinking of buying this game, it's pretty damn short compared to the ac games. But with that said, it has a gripping story that's bound to leave you wanting more.
just beat the game, and WOW i really like it, i love how it goes right into unity and feeds off of black flag and Ac3, a must have if you are a fan of the series
I might not be able to take this guy seriously, I've just got "Potatoes!!!" In the back of my mind whenever he speaks.
Lol top da morning
***** what part of any of the comments needed such a reply?
Perhaps it was meant as a joke? In seriousness, grow up with regards to stereotypes. They're just words, I'll not go to Ireland expecting the lot of them to be bloody leprechauns. Maybe you should look back at my comment, a comment about a fictional character, and highlight which part exactly wounded you so.
***** you talk of dumb stereotypes yet you insult homesexual people? how cultured
***** .. I can't even?
its 2020 and i am playing for the first timeeeee lets gooooo
Getting REMASTERED BABY!!!!
omg omg omg oh wow im so pleased this looks fantastic omg im feeling much better about still having my x360 now omg

Lol. I knew there had to be at least one person who doesn't regret buying the One, and actually likes it enough to recommend it to people.
Calm the fuck down!
Ali B
oh i will, im getting one asap, but my funds are a little low rn haha but for now i will have AC:Rogue :D
So this is for the 360 and ps3 instead of the one for next-gen consoles?
Sorry for me being a bit ignorant
this cloth looks like templsr .armor. from ac4 so much
Man, now I gotta get this too.. I'll be going broke this november because of assassins creed. worth it!
The most bad-ass AC trailer I've seen by far.
shay= me
the assassin's brotherhood=sony
no
Assassin=Donald trump
Let me know when it comes to PC. Thank you and goodbye.
PC has Unity
best trailer ever
my favorite assassin's creed quote is "the air is still and I am a hunter", "the liberation of roma has begun" and "my redemption is found in ashes"
We need PC version! Please!
Am I the only onr that is sick of sailing a ship, after Black Flag I dont want to sail a ship anytime soon. I finished it 100% and that ment hours of sailing so im very happy I went next gen or should I say current gen. I cant wait to play in paris with thousands of people in the streets , with it looking amazing. This game looks allright but it seems to much like Black Flag just with snow and you now hunt your own.
I believe it uses the same/similar engine to Black Flag, so they will be very alike. maybe not as much sailing due to less of a need. You never know with Ubisoft.
+229 Studios I thought they were using a new engine. I did a little research I couldn't find much just these two articles. www.geekexchange.com/assassins-creed-unity-trailer-shows-off-new-engine-127777.html www.gameranx.com/updates/id/23220/article/assassin-s-creed-unity-new-engine-gameplay-revealed-and-detailed/
Like I said I'm not too sure but with the bonus stuff shown on the US Trailer it seems to be a similar if not the same engine.Of course, I could be completely wrong.
+229 Studios I do know is Unity looks 100 times better than rogue graphically thats a fact. As for what engine they use I do know now its the antvil engine modified because the engine before couldn't handle 1000 ppl on screen at once so the modified it now Unity will have up to a 1000 ppl on screen at once whith over 700 different character models.
Yeah Unity is much better, but you would hope so since its on a next gen console.
That's awesome. So I guess we'll be seeing Achilles again.
Cool thx for the trailer!!
:D :) ;)
This is not Assassin's creed this is Templars"s creed
still is
The story revolves around the main character struggled with the Creed and ultimately choosing to reject it. It's fucking all about the Assassin's Creed still. Having that title doesn't mean the main character has to agree with said Creed for 100% of the game, but it's the central element behind his switch. He realizes during the game he agrees more with templar ideals than the Creed. Still about the Creed and his struggle with it..
Ratchet the Lombax
its like saying they make a new hitman game and the ponies from my little pony tell him to kill his friends because they are being mean to them
cayateca this is still the same universe
I dont remember asking you a god damn thing
