Do you think Aragorn's secretive life as 'Strider' was more of a blessing or a curse? Right before elrond told him , he had been on a hunting trip with the sons of elrind , they were attacked by orcs , and the brothers ( who had trained him) told thier father, he performed great acts of heroism and bravery, a natural leader, in combat,
It might just be a me thing, but the images are so beautiful, and the story so interesting that I would like to linger and have a think before moving on to the next delicious bite of this Tolkien cake. I should think pipe puffing pace would be more suited to this worthy creation, especially for those of us who love the material but have not read the books. I can’t understand how mistakes like the feet and head going in different directions get past editing. I want to enjoy every leaf and process every idea as it relates to what I do know. Brain damage has given me a constellation of cognitive challenges like learning new info ,sequential processing, working memory short falls and sustained attention,:etc., but I might not be the only one who wants to linger in this world.
