The master version "feel" you are talking about is because it has an odd "jerky" pace to it and just wasn't smooth enough. Like SMS Altered Beast. In Altered beast they used tiles instead of sprites to eliminate flicker but as a result it wasn't smooth, I wonder if that's what they did here and caused the same scrolling issue?
the c64 version sucked...you could only have one opponent in each screen...sorry but this is worse than spectrum and amstrad....you were right though about the music...it was very good as usual on the system!!!
I think they all equally have their flaws and the reason the c64 is higher that if i had to subject myself to playing one it would be the c64 for the music
